They allowed me to check in early, which was great. The location is super convenient for getting around, with both the MRT and bus stops nearby. The walkway very dark. And all the furniture very old. Room is spacious, however I being assign a corner room which really far from lift. Bathroom lighting too dark, hope can improve. Already indicate no “Corner room” but the staff seems simply assign. Location is strategic as surrounding is mall and food stall. If you looking for budget, this hotel can be consider.

Dash Living at Mackenzie turns out to be a very good stay, excellent location, about 3 min walk to the Little India MRT, 8 minutes walk to the Tekka Food Center with loads of options to eat. There are also a few eateries right below the stay. Check is with communicating thru an iPad and a DIY check-in service. It was a little confusing at the start, but it was pretty easy. Room size is small but comfortable for one person. There is a closet, a digital safe, a mini fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, a hair dryer, a bathroom of a good size, TV, and WIFI. Filtered water is self-service, and a tumbler is provided in the room. There is a social area on Level 5 with some cooking facilities, a laundramat, and a roof-top chill spot. Loved this stay, price was under RM300 through Trip.com and I think I will be happy to stay here again if I am back to Singapore.

Firstly, the location is really convenient as it is in Kampong Glam and a bus station: so, you can go anywhere from there. The hostel itself is located on the 3rd floor and that could be a problem for people who can’t walk properly. They do have an elevator but you need to climb up some stairs first before going into it. Secondly, the rooms are super clean, the bathrooms are spotless, and the bed is very comfy, you can sink right in. The temperature set in my dorm was about right as it was not too cold or too hot. Thirdly, there is a coffee machine in the lobby and a water dispenser as well. From the machine, you get more choices than coffee. I recommend Teh Tarik, a local milk tea, that can be dispensed from that machine. Overall, I’d give this hostel a 4.5/5 since I’ve stayed in bigger dorms compared to this. It was a really great experience and I would be coming back again in the future.

If you're staying downtown, you *have* to pick this place! We stayed for three nights, and while the room wasn't huge, we still managed to fit two large suitcases comfortably. We pushed the two beds together, and it was perfect for two adults and a child with plenty of space. The beds were just the right firmness, making for a really comfortable sleep, and the room was cleaned promptly every day. The best part, though, is the super convenient location. There's a Coconut store on the first floor of the adjacent shopping mall, a food court on the fifth floor, and the subway is right in the basement. You can also cut through the mall to get to Centre Point across the street, where there's a bak kut teh spot with barely any queues – what a lifesaver! If you have some free time, check out Cotton On in the basement; it's a local brand. And even if you don't plan to swim, definitely go check out the pool area upstairs – it's so chill!

Stayed at ST Signature and had a pleasant overall experience. The concept is modern and efficient, especially suitable for short stays or travellers who value convenience. The room was compact but thoughtfully designed, making good use of space, and it was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. Great location and very comfortable beds, but a few annoying drawbacks. The hostel is in an excellent location: hawker stalls are about a 5-minute walk away, a bus stop is directly across the street, and the train station is around 10 minutes on foot. There are also several restaurants right next door. The beds/pods are extremely comfortable—some of the best I’ve had in any hostel. Facilities are very clean. Free laundry on site is a nice bonus (detergent is available from a dispenser across from the washer and dryer). Highly recommend the Ensuites dorms, they have their own toilet and shower. Cons: They charge an extra $1 per night for a bottom bunk, which feels unnecessary—I’ve stayed in many hostels and have never been charged extra just to avoid a top bunk. Hot water in the suite dorm showers was inconsistent, although water pressure was strong. The common area lacks couches or comfortable seating. Not enough tables and seats for the number of guests staying there. The checkin and checkout is done on a kiosk. Overall, a solid stay with great beds and location, but a few small issues keep it from being excellent.

We love that the location is still in the heart of orchard rd. Its close to all nearby malls like plaza singapura, orchard central, orchard point. The hotel has good staffs, especially auntie Rita who loves to greet us always in the morning for breakfast. There are a lot of good foods and restaurants which is very accessible to and from the hotel.

AAnonymous UserStaying in Singapore has certainly been an experience, and overall, it was quite… unique 😅 First, the pros: 1. **Convenient Location**: It's about 900 meters from Harbourfront Vivocity, roughly a 10-minute walk. 2. **Affordable Price**: At 625 RMB per night (weekend rate, slightly higher than weekdays) including tax, this is considered quite cheap in Singapore, where prices are sky-high 😅. 3. **Cleanliness**: The room was very clean and well-maintained, as expected from a chain brand. Now for the cons: First, the room is tiny, definitely less than 13 square meters. The actual usable space, including the bathroom, is only about six or seven square meters. Second, I honestly didn't understand what ”1 double bed measuring 1.31 meters” meant at first. After checking in, I realized that 1.31 meters was the total width of *two* beds! Divided by two, each bed was only 0.65 meters wide 😅. Honestly, this is the narrowest bed I've ever slept in 😅. I didn't think much of it and just lay down, but in the middle of the night, I almost fell off the bed when I turned over. I had to get up and push the two beds together to be able to continue sleeping, albeit uncomfortably, due to the large, sunken gap in the middle. Also, I don't know who keeps them, but there are several chickens in the green belt outside, and they started crowing incessantly before 7 AM. It feels a bit out of place for a business hotel to have chickens outside, not quite fitting with Singapore's sophisticated, elite image, haha 😅. Another experience related to ”cultural differences”: The hotel doesn't provide bottled water. There's a ”drinking water” sign on the bathroom faucet, but I didn't dare drink it, haha 😅. Luckily, I brought two bottles of water myself (500ml + 600ml), which I managed to make do with for a day and a half. Plus, there was a 600ml bottle of mineral water on the Aeroline bus on the way back the next evening. This saved me money on buying water in Singapore (not including a coconut shake and a durian cendol I bought the next day). Singapore is really hot and humid. The sun is scorching during the day, and walking outside feels like being roasted alive 😅. Restaurants and food courts don't provide free hot or cold water. Water might indeed be a scarce resource here, which I can rationally understand 😅.
