"This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel is conveniently located, with Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street within walking distance. Subway access nearby is also a big plus. I upgraded my room for a small fee, and even though it faced the street, the soundproofing was excellent. Once the windows were closed, I couldn't hear any street noise. The room was meticulously clean, and the bedding was so soft, I slept wonderfully. A special shout-out to Yan Li, who was incredibly warm and polite during check-in, patiently answering all my questions and even providing helpful travel tips. This was my first time staying at an Atour hotel, and the Atour S Guanqian Street definitely left a great impression."

"Traveling to Suzhou this time of year was a great choice. "First off, the hotel's location is unbeatable. Being on Guanqian Street makes it super convenient to get to all of Suzhou's main attractions. We were able to walk to famous historic restaurants like Deyuelou and Songhelou for our two dinner meals. The service was also impeccable. Tina contacted us before check-in to do a pre-visit and provided a travel guide. The concierge and front desk staff were all warm, polite, and proactive in their service. The breakfast was quite good too. The only minor drawbacks, perhaps due to it being an older hotel that's been renovated, are the rather slow elevators and the exposed black waterproofing on the rooftop outside our window. Additionally, the soundproofing was a bit awkward; we could clearly hear footsteps and conversations from upstairs and outside. Thankfully, the hotel provided earplugs. Overall, it's a decent option for a short business trip."

"The environment is nice, there's a food court downstairs, and it's located in Guanqian Street, the most bustling area of Suzhou. The owner is a handsome guy and very enthusiastic. However, that auntie, from the moment I arrived until I left, always acted strangely, even though I couldn't hear her clearly. It was just a small matter, but she made me feel like I was some kind of ****. Suzhou is really like that; last night I went to Shanghai and didn't come back, and she kept hovering around me, which was odd… Overall, it was a very good experience. Every time I come to Suzhou before, something always goes missing… This time was my first time in Suzhou without any problems. I'll stay here again next time…"

"The room was great, and the bath towels and robes were all sealed and very clean, making for a really comfortable stay. The best part is that the subway entrance is right outside, which is super convenient. If it's not too far, you can also grab a shared bike. You can even order from 'A Ma Handmade' (阿嫲手作). Breakfast was also plentiful, and the tofu pudding was good. Next time, I hope I'll have time to read a book inside."

Bordering the lively Guanqian Street and standing close to the Humble Administrator’s Garden, it places the bluestone alleys of Pingjiang Road and the minimalist aesthetics of Suzhou Museum within easy walking distance, wrapping guests in an endless realm of Jiangnan poetry. Come to pursue a dream of old Suzhou, and dwell in a tender stretch of time. Wander through limpid garden waters and admire layered pavilions by day; stroll amid twinkling street lights and listen to the gentle night breeze of the ancient town after dusk. With elegance as its pillow and tenderness as its tone, Yueting Hotel offers travelers a soothing poetic residence hidden in the bustling heart of Jiangnan.

"Here's an objective and factual review: First, the pros: 1. Staying in Suzhou's old town for just over 200 RMB a night on a weekend is incredibly good value. The hotel is very close to Chayuanchang Metro and bus stations. It's a 10-minute metro ride to Suzhou Railway Station, and you can take bus 262 directly to Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum in about 10 minutes. The location is a huge advantage. 2. Being a newly renovated hotel, the room facilities are very new and equipped with smart technology. You can control things with Xiao Du voice commands, which is a great experience. 3. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable – a blessing for anyone with neck or back issues. Now, the cons: 1. At first glance, the room looks cozy and pretty, but on closer inspection, it's full of hygiene blind spots. An unused disposable paper cup had an eyelash in it, and the paper cup cover was stained, likely not changed in a long time. Even after we asked for new cups the next day, the cup cover remained the old, stained one. The first tissue pulled from the tissue box had a stain on it. The towels also had some small yellow stains, I'm not sure if they were inherent or if the towels weren't washed properly. There was a lot of dust on the floor and in the crevices of the cabinets, indicating it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. 2. The hotel is located behind a wet market, which felt a bit intimidating when arriving late at night. Three hotels share two elevators, and there's no key card access, making the environment feel a bit chaotic and unsafe. Initially, I thought about changing hotels, but after looking at reviews for other higher-end hotels in Suzhou, it seemed the hygiene situation might be similar, with common issues across the board. For this price, it's somewhat acceptable. If you're traveling with children, I'd recommend booking something a bit nicer."

"I booked two standard rooms, and the front desk upgraded us for free to two rooms, both with two 1.8-meter double beds. The rooms were very spacious. I've noticed many hotels in Suzhou have bathrooms with glass walls, which can be a bit awkward when showering or using the toilet, but this hotel's bathroom walls were fully enclosed and private, which was a big plus for me. Although our room faced the street, I was initially worried about noise. To my surprise, it was incredibly quiet at night. Besides the occasional sound of someone walking in high heels upstairs late at night, everything else was negligible. For someone like me with very poor sleep quality, this hotel is truly a godsend for light sleepers. Additionally, the shower pressure was great, and the toiletries, towels, and bath towels were all very clean. The only downside was that the pillows were too high, which isn't ideal for people with neck problems. I mentioned it to the front desk the next day, and they assured me they would address the pillow height issue immediately. I hope to see a positive change on my next stay."
