"An absolutely wonderful experience! The entire hotel was designed by Singapore's Temasek Group and is seamlessly integrated with the Panmen Scenic Area. The hotel itself is built around a traditional Chinese garden layout, cleverly concealing eight distinct attractions. Its back entrance leads directly into the Panmen Scenic Area, and with your hotel key card, you get unlimited access throughout the day, along with services like Hanfu rental. The hotel itself is impeccable, with top-notch amenities, including the pool and gym. The customer service staff are also very professional. I noticed many foreigners, especially Singaporeans, staying here. The only minor drawback is that the rooms are spread across multiple buildings, making the hotel quite large. On my first visit, it took me a while to navigate from the front desk to my room. Also, the front desk is on the 3rd floor, while the rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors, which can be a bit confusing when coming and going."

Hotel near Industrial Park, Jinji Lake Commercial Area,Suzhou
Experience the renowned beauty of Suzhou in an unforgettable private island of Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou. Our 9-hectare (22-acre) private island retreat on Jinji Lake is only minutes from the bustling city center, with expansive gardens and dramatic lake views enveloping you in a serene and private sanctuary – a true urban escape.

"Honestly, the service at Suzhou Four Seasons is still a bit inconsistent, but our butler, Molly, single-handedly elevated all my positive feelings about the hotel. Just because of her, I might return to stay six, seven, eight, or even nine more times. Actually, during this stay, the front desk didn't proactively mention the butler service again. But as it was my fifth visit to the hotel, I still had Molly's WeChat from my previous stay. A day after I checked in, she posted photos of the Four Seasons on my WeChat Moments, then she proactively contacted me and asked if I needed any help. From the moment she appeared, my whole trip became incredibly smooth. She anticipated every detail a guest might need, and everything she did was incredibly thoughtful and well-executed! I'm giving five stars this time entirely because I think it's rare and commendable for a hotel to have such an employee. If everyone could be this professional, it would be unbeatable! Let me mention two less-than-stellar incidents: 1. On the first day, the welcome fruit was forgotten. We asked for it to be delivered at 12 PM the next day, and it was forgotten again. When I called the front desk, a male staff member actually replied, ”I just started today, so I'm not sure.” Come on, guests don't care if it's your first day or your thousandth; you need to find a way to solve the problem. It wasn't until Molly intervened that I finally received the delayed fruit. 2. The hotel's lobby is quite discreet. Yesterday, a friend came to visit me at the hotel, and there was a female staff member right at the entrance. I hope you can be more professional with guests in the future and not have such an arrogant attitude. When guests ask you questions, you still need to be professional and patient, as you represent the hotel. (Hotel management, if you're willing to hear the details, please feel free to email me.) Two small suggestions for the hotel to improve its service: 1. Although the buffet restaurant is generally very good, it's a bit unreasonable that you don't provide disposable gloves now that crayfish is on the menu. 2. The outdoor pool opens at 10 AM. Staff should have everything prepared before 10 AM, rather than starting to set up exactly at 10 AM. Finally, a big thank you again to the most thoughtful butler, Molly! Thank you for making me willing to keep coming back to the Four Seasons!"

"Exploring Suzhou, I was fortunate to stay at Jiangnan Zhizao Mansion. This visit felt like stepping into a Jiangnan poem, truly unforgettable. The courtyards and corridors are beautifully laid out, with dark tiled roofs and white walls complemented by lush flora. Every step offers a picturesque view, exuding elegance. Sitting in the courtyard, I felt all the city's hustle and bustle melt away. The guest rooms are clean and refined, with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. The bedding was soft, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were polite and attentive, answering all my questions thoroughly, especially when I inquired about local streets and historical sites, showing genuine hospitality. Staying here, I could easily immerse myself in Suzhou's vibrant life right outside, yet return to a tranquil haven. Every brick and tile whispers the charm of Jiangnan, and every interaction reflects their sincere dedication to hospitality. This wonderful accommodation felt like a celestial being gracing the mortal world, with its elegant charm touching my heart. When I return to Suzhou, I will definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Xiao Liu for their excellent service."

"This hotel has been around for a long time. I visited about a decade and a half ago, and back then, it felt very serene and secluded. However, I've noticed significant changes this time. It's clear they've kept up with the times, putting a lot of effort into various aspects like the environment, attention to detail, value-added services, and marketing. Overall, I found it to be pretty good value for money. While the facilities aren't as new as those in recently built hotels, the rooms are completely free of any strange or musty smells, and the location is excellent. The hot spring pools are conveniently clustered together, making it perfect for families with children and seniors. My only slight disappointment was that the 'fish spa' pool didn't actually have any fish. The front desk staff were all very warm and friendly, and the restaurant service was equally enthusiastic and attentive. I didn't get a chance to try any of the in-house activities, so I'm not sure what they offer."

Offering convenience, luxury and quality service, the Wyndham Garden Suzhou is the traveler's choice for a "home away from home" .

"Without a doubt, this is the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms and facilities are old and run-down. Everything from the walls to the elevators and the room fixtures was filthy. The weirdest thing is there's no proper shower in the room, just a bathtub. If you want to shower, you have to stand inside the tub and use a handheld sprayer. On top of that, the water temperature was impossible to adjust – it kept switching between freezing cold and scalding hot. For a room like this, costing 489 yuan a night, it should really be around 200 yuan. Even though it's an older hotel from 2012, I didn't expect a chain brand to be this bad. The staff's attitude was good, and both the Chinese restaurant and breakfast selection were quite varied. I originally wanted to give a terrible review, but since I booked it myself, I decided not to be too harsh."
