Pullman Hotels in Shanghai

Overall, the hotel was not bad, though the rooms were a bit old. The bed was very hard and didn’t meet the quality of a five-star hotel. The pillows were also very flat, making it really uncomfortable to sleep without proper head support. The hotel’s location was great—very convenient for traveling to all the tourist attractions. It’s right near Metro Line 1, Exit 5. However, if you’re carrying big luggage, be aware that Exit 5 has no escalator or lift! You’ll need to carry your bags up the stairs, which are quite high. You can take another exit with easier access, but it will require a longer walk.

I had a wonderful stay at the Pullman Shanghai Central for a relaxing birthday staycation. The front desk team was fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate a special request for my birthday. I was also pleasantly surprised when the chef delivered a delicious cake to my room to celebrate the occasion. The dining room where breakfast was served was stunning, and the pastries were especially delightful. Overall, I had a brilliant experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

Definitely will stay in Pullman Shanghai South again. The bed is comfortable and very convenient location. Most important the hotel's customer service was first class, David was very friendly and approachable. He helped organised taxi services and gave lots of information to help make this trip a success.

The hotel is clean with spacious rooms. Our requests of additional amenities / room services were promptly met reflecting staff's abundance as well as readiness to serve.
