The biggest highlight was the location; having the subway and train station right next door made getting around completely hassle-free, yet it was surprisingly peaceful without the typical hustle and bustle of a transit hub. The room was well-maintained, and the bedding had just the right firmness to instantly relieve the fatigue of travel. The service hit the sweet spot: not overly attentive, but any request was handled promptly. I also managed to check out the heated pool, which was quiet and serene; heading back to the room to rest afterward left me completely relaxed. It is a great choice whether you're traveling for sightseeing or just need a place for a short stopover. All in all, a solid five-star experience.

Check-in: The staff were very friendly and welcoming on our first day. However, I was surprised that they wouldn't let me check in until 3:00 PM. At most other hotels, I'm usually able to get an early check-in (even if I arrive at noon), so this felt a bit rigid for a property of this level. The Room: The room itself was comfortable—the bed was soft and the shower pressure was actually perfect (not too strong, not too weak, just right). Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke upon arrival. To their credit, when I called the front desk, they immediately offered to change my room, which was very professional of them. Breakfast: This was the biggest letdown. The breakfast buffet felt more like what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel rather than a 5-star Pullman. The quality and selection just weren't there for me. Overall: It was an okay stay—nothing terrible, but nothing exceptional either. I wouldn't rate it a 10/10, more like a solid 6. Good service from the staff, but the check-in policy, smoke issue, and food really held it back.

Cookie and Nancy provided warm and thoughtful service throughout my stay, making me feel completely at home. From the environment and facilities to the service, everything was impeccable. This is my top choice for accommodation when visiting Shanghai South Railway Station, highly recommended!

🎉 Due to work, I've been staying at the Pullman Shanghai Qingpu Excellence for several nights recently! Overall, it's been a great experience! The room is spacious, clean, and tidy, and the bathroom even has a large bathtub! The bedding is comfortable, and the room offers a nice view of Qingpu New City. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive! The breakfast selection is rich 🍰, and it tastes really good too!
