Hotel near Pudong International Airport Area,Shanghai

Perfect good-for-value stay for a layover/ early morning flight (for me it’s the latter), and that the hotel provides free 24 hour shuttle service to PVG with a 30 mins frequency. Front desk is also friendly and eager to please. Rooms are comfortable and adequate. Do note that location-wise except being near to the airport there’s nothing much, and that there is construction going on (presumably for the new PVG terminal) - the hotel compound is pretty nice though, but outside of it it’s not walkable, so plan accordingly (and if anything didi is also available). There may be airplane noise heard from the room from time to time due to airport proximity, but nothing unbearable.
Overall, I'm very satisfied. The front desk was quick with check-in/check-out, and the service was warm and friendly. The room's hygiene standards were high; even the corners were clean. Breakfast started at 6:30 AM and offered a wide variety of choices, including hot dishes, cold cuts, and cereals. There was definitely enough to eat well. I'll make this my first choice for my next business trip.

The room was clean, service was excellent, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The free airport shuttle was a huge plus, especially since they picked me up even when I arrived in the middle of the night – truly thoughtful! Communication was smooth, and everything was arranged perfectly. I'll definitely stay here again next time I have a layover.

The hotel is great, and it's super convenient for travel, being very close to the airport. However, it can be a bit noisy because many planes take off in the middle of the night. Bringing earplugs would definitely help. The food is good, and the front desk service is also excellent.
10/2025 - I brought my relatives to Ramada Wujiaochang Shanghai for staying here because this hotel has the best price and performance ratio in that area at $78 for a suite, including two buffet breakfast and tax, no tip in China. We enjoy the area for shopping and dining, especially across the hotel, you can find a delicious bowl of vegetable wontons soup at $2.00 (15 RMB) including tax vs. approximately $20 in Los Angeles after Tax + Tip!
If you like Chinese medicine for a special area treatment, a 北京同仁堂 is just across the hotel.
The hotel has been continuing to renovate guestrooms slowly. Staying at a 9th floor might be your best choice because all guestrooms were remodeled 5 years ago with a Biden Toilet.
The subway #10 is just a walking distance from the hotel. If you like to visit the Pudong, you can consider to take a new subway line #18 for just a one-seat ride, but a 20 minutes walk or take a taxi at $2.00 to the subway.
2019 - This is my third time to stay at RAMADA SHANGHAI Wujiaochang. I am glad that the hotel is now going through a remodeling construction phase. The 3rd and 5th floors are at the reconstruction at the moment.
The hotel has a all-you-can-eat morning buffet with 30 different items at $7 (50 RMB) per person, which can satisfy most common visitors. A walking distance to the subway line 10 is not far, which usually takes 10 minutes.
From the subway station, you can visit a newly opened underground plaza where 13 exits are available.
The room and other hardware facilities are good, and the front desk staff is also very enthusiastic and friendly. The deduction this time is for the woman who ordered the noodles for breakfast. Her attitude was disgusting because she was asked to order two more bowls of noodles (because it was useless) She ordered the noodles in advance and immediately showed her face to the guests. She ordered the noodles without saying a word. This is not in line with the Ramada brand. Points must be deducted from her and she is looked down upon.
