Yitel Hotels in Shanghai

Excellent location and perfect after a long day of exploring. We enjoyed our stay at Yitel Premium in Shanghai. The location was excellent, right on Nanjing Pedestrian Road, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city and getting around. One of the highlights was definitely the bed with the adjustable 0-gravity position and massage function. After spending long days walking around Shanghai, coming back to the hotel and relaxing in that bed was fantastic! The room was comfortable and the hotel was a very convenient base for sightseeing. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so we can’t comment on the breakfast. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Shanghai.

I had a pleasant stay at Yitel Collection. The hotel offers great practical perks: we were able to check in early, the wifi was fast and reliable, and the hot shower was excellent—strong pressure and consistently hot water. The location is also a big plus, as it is reachable to both the metro and bus stops, and very close to Shanghai Railway Station, making it super convenient for travelers. The only downsides were the lack of a laundry service and no delivery robot, which would have been convenient for ordering food or sending items up to the room. Aside from that, everything was smooth and comfortable. Would recommend for anyone prioritizing location and basic comfort.

The location is excellent, very close to Renji Hospital, with plenty of dining options nearby. It truly feels vibrant and convenient! I booked a windowless room, but the front desk upgraded me to room 8611, which had a small window. It was a pleasant surprise to see the beautiful view outside. However, the bed area in the room was a bit cramped, though the bathroom was decent. The biggest issue was being near the elevator; I could hear every word spoken by everyone who passed by, crystal clear. I wonder if other rooms are like that. Also, the air conditioning, even on the lowest fan speed, felt very strong and uncomfortable. Maybe I'm getting old and can't handle the draft? Turning it off made the room too hot. I even tried placing some tissues on different parts of the bed, and they were all fluttering! I ended up sleeping with my head covered, which resulted in a terrible night's sleep.

The views outside this hotel are absolutely stunning, beyond words. Just a few steps away, you can walk to the bridge and enjoy the river scenery, especially at night – it's so beautiful you won't want to go back to your room. The room I was assigned was also very romantic, with a sloped attic window. I loved being able to lie in bed and look out the window; it's a feeling I really appreciate. The breakfast was better than some other hotels I've stayed at. While it was still pretty standard Western and Asian fare, it tasted good and was more than enough. The front desk thoughtfully provided a coffee machine and an ice maker, so you can grab a coffee or ice whenever you want, which was really convenient. My only minor issue with the room was that it was a bit humid and had a slight musty smell. However, if you're in Shanghai for a business trip and need to stay for an extended period, I actually think this place is quite suitable because the wardrobe in the room is very spacious and can easily accommodate a lot of belongings. Another small issue was that the hotel hallways were quite warm. This was especially noticeable this season; every time I left my room, the walk to the elevator felt a bit stuffy and hot. But for me, this wasn't a severe enough problem to warrant a low rating for the hotel; it's an acceptable minor drawback. One thing I found really convenient was the hotel's dedicated pick-up area. For instance, if you order takeout, get a delivery, or a rider brings something, it's placed in a designated area. You can go and check it yourself, making the whole process very easy. To be honest, this place feels more like a hybrid between a hotel and a serviced apartment. The facilities are well-suited for long-term stays, and for business trips or extended periods in Shanghai, I think it's much more convenient than a typical hotel. But I have to say it again: the location is fantastic. Seriously, the location is absolutely gorgeous. For this area, I think it's one of the best value-for-money options I've seen so far. Taking an evening stroll, the surrounding scenery is truly breathtaking. The staff are also all lovely and friendly. The only thing is they sometimes seem quite busy, so online replies can be slow, and you might have to wait a while. However, once they do reply or you communicate with them in person, you'll find everyone is very pleasant and willing to help. So, overall, my impression of this hotel is very positive. It's not without its flaws, but considering the location, price, environment, and convenience for long-term stays, I think these minor issues are perfectly acceptable. My room didn't have a microwave or an individual washing machine, but that wasn't a big deal. The kitchen staff were very kind and always happily helped me heat up food. The hotel also has a public laundry room with irons available, so even for longer stays, it doesn't feel inconvenient. What I loved most was the evening ambiance. Stepping out of the hotel at night, the riverside and surrounding scenery are truly captivating. The whole neighborhood is also very quiet, not noisy at all, making walks incredibly pleasant. If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet place that's suitable for longer stays, I think this place is definitely worth considering.

The staff were genuinely helpful and not perfunctory. They patiently explained the pros and cons of different commuting routes to the industrial park when I inquired, and the check-in process was efficient from start to finish, with no unnecessary waiting. This hotel is particularly suitable for business travelers on a tight schedule.

It was already past one o'clock when I went there, and he was not tired or impatient at all. I was really in a good mood when I came out to play. The hotel's buffet breakfast is rich in variety, clean and hygienic, and a parking ticket is also given. I will stay here again when I come to Shanghai in the future.

The hotel environment was clean and tidy. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, and the uncle was approachable and attentive. There was some standing water in the bathroom, but after I mentioned it, someone came to fix it right away – thumbs up! The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious, and the kitchen auntie was also very friendly. It offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time. My only minor gripe is that there aren't enough washing machines and dryers, so you have to wait in line.

Just a few minutes' walk from the metro station and close to Huashan Hospital. The free laundry room is super practical, and the room was clean with no strange smells. The complimentary coffee, mineral water, and free laundry and drying facilities, plus free parking, are incredibly convenient. They even offered a thoughtful tea service upon arrival. Breakfast was both delicious and beautifully presented!

The hotel is very clean and in a great location, with plenty of restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient. The room was quiet with good soundproofing, so you couldn't hear any street noise. Excellent value for money, highly recommend.

I guess it’s non-peak, I had a free upgrade for both rooms I booked. It’s clean and spacious, drop off for DIDI is also conveniently located next to the lift. Recommended for older folk with disabilities, the hotel is virtually on a single floor so moving around is relatively simple.
