The hotel is just a stone's throw away from Shibuya Crossing and the bustling Shibuya Station, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. I found myself immersed in the vibrant a**osphere and surrounded by countless dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The staff at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu are deserving of special mention. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and assist with any requests I had. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness truly made me feel like a valued guest. The room I stayed in was elegantly decorated and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed, along with the well-appointed amenities, made for a restful and enjoyable stay. The room offered stunning views of the city, allowing me to witness the vibrant Shibuya skyline both day and night. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience at the hotel's restaurants. The breakfast buffet was a delightful spread of both local and international dishes, catering to all tastes. The quality and variety of food exceeded my expectations, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, the hotel's facilities were excellent. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine even while traveling. Great hotel in central location. Rooms are big and comfortable for Tokyo standard and it’s a short walk to central shibuya crossing and JR line. Hotel breakfast was good and service by staff were very friendly. Big plus for those who are planning to ride a airport bus, the hotel is a stop for drop off and pick up.

Excellent location in Shinjuku, right opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, where you can go up to the observatories for free and get great views. The hotel itself is quite old now but it’s been refurbished. Lots of rooms so it’s quite busy, but there are staff everywhere to help you. Good value if you can book early enough and get a decent rate.

The place is the cleanest, the showers to the room we shared with 10 others, the staff (young) so very, very polite and friendly, I really ommend this place to anyone who's travelling to Tokyo, there are vending machines, a mini market few doors down and a 5min walk to the Tower and shopping complex a must, it was great for us from New Zealand to experience something outside our comfort zone...Wise Owl staff you guys are one in a million, thank you for looking after us💖💖💖

The room was not totally cleaned up. During our 5 nights stay, there were 2 days that complimentary water was not given. The reception is at the 15th floor and we had to carry all our luggages up then bring it down to the lower floora where the guest rooms were. Overall, it was still a very pleasant stay

Until 3 days ago, the FS on Koh Samui was in a terrible eye. But my husband, ”Why do you like Grand Hyatt?” I wondered if it was the number one in Tokyo, the number one in Japan, the number one in the world, ”Well, so I don't think I'm satisfied wherever I stay.” (I like Mr. Aman too) The club lounge was overseas without passports because the customer base returned. Thank you for taking a lot of pictures of all the Bell staff. There is a dignified air in Ray, and everyone at the Grand Club, I swelled my stomach to the fullest in the club lounge (this time it was 20 years １ delicious). When did you lose money? Me and my boyfriend shared a superior single room at this hotel in June 2019, it was small (as you would expect from a Japanese hotel room) but with 2 big cases I was actually really pleasantly surprised with the space, neither of us felt suffocated. We were there during all the crazy construction, and we barely found it to be an issue at all. No noise, and little inconvenience. The hotel is surprisingly easy to find, and im terrible with instructions! The location is 100% the best part of this hotel. It was a piece of cake getting around Tokyo, easy access to Shinjuku/harajuku/akihabara, (odaiba is a little out the way, but not too difficult!). Lawson across the street, lots of restaurants, really close walking distance to Shibuya crossing and all its shops. Prior to arrival, I had my cases shipped from Tokyo disney resort to this hotel, and one of them was missing. The service regarding this was great, the check in desk rang up the delivery service for me (Yamato?) and figured out the situation. Within a an hour or two, I got a call to my room and they informed me that the luggage had been sent to the wrong area, but they were now delivering it to mets. What a relief! Do not worry about any language barriers, the staff are great. Another great thing about this hotel is the free smartphone they allow you to take out around the city with you! Having this was incredibly helpful for google maps etc. Cannot fault our stay at all, and I would stay again during my next trip.

The Turn Table Hostel is a friendly hostel that provides dorms, share-bedrooms and single bedrooms. As a frequent traveller to Tokyo, I am fond of Shibuya because of its diverse range of activities, from shopping to dining, from exploring the city’s history to witnessing its continuous evolution. Turn Table Hostel is a lovely, cozy hostel that offers adequate facilities for travellers. During my stay at the Hostel, I chose a single bedroom with an individual bathroom. What surprises me the most is the food quality at the hostel’s restaurant - Turn Table Restaurant, on Level 1. Each traveller is eligible to taste either three kinds of sashimi OR Awa vegetable tempura for free if you want to dine inside the hostel restaurant. I chose vegetable tempura, of which the quality is good with decent presentation. I also ordered the sashimi seafood rice bento and a glass of red sangria for my dinner. Overall, the dinner was lovely, and the staff can generally speak good English.

The morning set meal at Shimizu was very good. However, on the day we arrived, our luggage was mistakenly taken to my sister's room, who came with us, and we were not able to get it moved. I wish the bellboys would think a little more about this. The rooms are clean and the wooden decorations in the lobby are a must-see! Close to Shinagawa station, so there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to eat at. The bar Asama is also very relaxing and the french fries were delicious.
