3-Star Hotels in Sarawak, Malaysia

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and booked with trip.com. I like the location for late night flight stay because the nasi lemak stall is open 24hrs, just beside the hotel.

The room was spacious, spotless. Every staff member I encountered was warm, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect. They handled all my requests with a smile and genuine care.

This is my second time in Kuching and my always go to hotel. Walking distance to Kuching Waterfront, IG Ice cream, DUN, Jambatan Darul Hana, India mosque and Kg Boyan. EVEN VERY CLOSE TO CAT MONUMEN. Room was spacious, got fan and air-condition, clean, great water pressure and a bit mold since the first visit. Remember to buy parking coupons ya hahahah overall I always enjoy visiting kuching.

BACKPACKERS ROOM, WELL, NOT REALLY COMPORTABLE, RUBBISH AROUND BIN AT THE SHOWER AREA, SHOWER ROOM ONLY 2, SO YOU NEED TO WAIT ANOTHER TO TAKE A SHOWER & GO TO TOILET (NOT COMPORTABLE FOR ME) BECAUSE OUTSIDE ROOM SHOWER. (MIDDLE LOCATION AS WELL. COFFEE & TEA DONT HAVE. BUT THEY HAVE NODLES & SOYA BEAN PACKAGING WILL BE COST RM10. BUT FOR RUSHING & DONT HAVE HOTEL TO BOOK, YEAH BIT BETTER BOOK HOTEL ROOM MORE COMPORTABLE.. DONT HAVE ESCAVALOTOR. OR LIFT, SO TIRED FOR.ME. (NO GOOD FOR THOSE WHO PAIN LEG OR OLD PEOPLE). I AM SORRY TO GIVE FEEDBACK.

The room was spotless and well-maintained, a real pleasure to stay in , the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with a smile !!!

The hotel is located strategically in the town center. Eazy to find food and within walking distance to attraction places. Room exactly as advertised. Clean and good, yes recommended 😊

Though the hotel is old, the room is surprisingly spacious. The air conditioning is cool, the bed is comfortable, and everything is clean. I also appreciate the separate bathroom and toilet, which adds to the convenience. It’s definitely a better option than hotels in the Jalan Padungan area. Unfortunately, I only stayed for four hours as my flight was rescheduled to the evening—just enough time for a quick shower, a short nap, and then I was off.

I recently stayed at Theatre Hotel, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is nice and new, and I was impressed by the modern touch – they no longer use access cards, instead, you use a code to enter your room, which is a fresh and convenient approach. The room was clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax. However, the breakfast could use some improvement. It would be great if they had an egg live station to offer more variety and freshly prepared options. Also, I would suggest expanding the bread selection for a wider range of choices. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with potential for a more enjoyable breakfast experience!

Staying for 3 days and 2 nights at the hotel. Everything is good especially the room due to the deluxe room being full & upgraded to a premier room 😍😊 But the bad thing is, the receptionist is kinda gloomy & unwilling to solve the problem. On the first night staying, i still didn't sleep & forgot to lock the door. Luckily the door guard is intact, and i heard someone trying to open the door. The next morning, I requested to see CCTV footage to know who the one opening our door room was. But the receptionist said, ”oh we wrongly gave the room key last night to the guest”.. that's not the answer to what we want.. that means the hotel is not secure at all for a guest to stay. On the 2nd day, i already set the button for the make up room, but no housekeeping doing make up room after back from Bazaar Gawai late night.. and i ask the receptionist and they answer ”Oh, we fully book & need to clean the room ASAP & didn't do make up room” 😅 is that an excuse not to do make up room?? All the time I'm going to the receptionist, the same receptionist is not smiling at all 😅😅 For the facility, everything is good but no phone in the room 🤣 so it's hard to reach reception or housekeeping.

The hotel was in a convenient location near to shopping mall. The rooms were clean and bright. The breakfast was delicious but I bit disappointed when I booking the room for 3, but just get breakfast for 2. Anyway it good experience to stay.
