2-Star Hotels in Yunnan, China

After reading some negative reviews, I decided to give this place a try, as I felt I could completely accept the downsides. And it turned out to be really great because I met some wonderful people! Terry was like a resident assistant and a tour guide rolled into one – reminding me to blow-dry my hair, taking me to delicious places to eat and fun spots to visit, and recommending amazing food. They were truly exceptional! The women I met there were also incredibly awesome, and I'll definitely be keeping in touch with them!

The owner is a very, very thoughtful man from Northeast China. Seeing that I was a young woman and worried I wouldn't be able to carry my luggage, he offered to help me carry it upstairs. He's available 24/7 by phone. The location is excellent; it's just a short walk to a taxi stand and very close to the Starlight Night Market, only a few turns away. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area. I mentioned I'm a light sleeper, and he kindly arranged a very quiet room for me on the far side – truly a peaceful oasis. I also rented their electric scooter, and the owner charged it for me every night, so I didn't have to worry about it at all. It was fully charged when I woke up, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Traveling with such kindness made me feel so warm and cared for. Thank you, Uncle! This experience has further enhanced my positive impression of people from Northern China.

Great location close to many amenities !! No issue with WiFi working greatly, been watching films every night !!! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful , stayed for few weeks, never had any issues !! Walking distance to various shopping malls and night markets !! Fruit market and vegetable markets very close by !!! Very convenient transport links, buses, tube taxis, rent electric bikes/scooters, etc…! About 10 minutes, walk to the great gym with a swimming pool !!! Many Great Dental Hospitals, fixed my teeth while staying, managed to install crowns !!! Also, if have time can have a good quality implants !! Very close to Kunming Zoo, other parks a temples…!

The owner is really nice, patient and helpful. My Chinese isn’t really good but he was understanding. I wasn’t feeling well and he was very kind to check up on me with an oxygen canister. He will also bring you down to the bus stop. The place is really clean and had really nice views. It was really one of the best stays I had. Will highly recommend! The breakfast was really wholesome and hearty too. They also have really cute pets.Do ask him any questions you have regarding the routes around Dali or even to other cities!

Absolutely enjoyed my stay with Qifengshan. I got to experience the heart-warming Naxi hospitality, excellent food and great view - away from the crowd of where most people stay. The owner was so generous and welcoming. She offered me homegrown apples, pears, walnuts and tea upon my arrival. Dinner was delicious and serving size was huge! She even offered to drive me back up towards halfway Guesthouse upon my departure, and sent me off with even more apples and pears I’d suggest you to stay here - slightly off the beaten path and other popular choices along the Tiger Leaping gorge hike. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The balcony offered a quiet place to catch up on my reading with the glorious Mountain View.

This hotel is excellent! I originally came to Panlong for business and just randomly booked a hotel since I knew I'd be switching. To my surprise, I found it so comfortable after checking in that I decided to extend my stay – and ended up staying for four nights! A special thanks to the lovely front desk lady with the round face. On the first night, my family of three stayed in a king-size room, and she gave us a room with a three-meter-wide bed. The next day, I mentioned the room felt a bit small, and she graciously upgraded us to a twin room, really accommodating my needs. Her service was top-notch! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and all the facilities are complete, new, and in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the price was fantastic – very budget-friendly! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely consider this hotel first. There's parking available, and it's easy to catch a taxi. Plus, the Ruiding City Shopping Center is just next door, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommend! This is genuinely the first time I've written such a long review just because of a hotel stay! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures!!

The apartment is very clean, it's been cleaned every day. Bed is comfortable and bedroom is quiet. Living room is beautiful. The owner is friendly, helpful and hard working woman. Location is near railway station and there is a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood. Thank you for hosting me!

I have traveled for more than two months and stayed in the most satisfying one. The room is very large, very clean, the decoration is very new, the high-end Tibetan residential decoration, there is floor heating in the whole house oxygen supply, smart toilet, and breakfast. Parking in the scenic area is very convenient. The room scenery is very good. I chose this place because of the quiet parking lot. It’s not far to various scenic spots. There is a viewing platform 50 meters next to the homestay. The scenery is beautiful and the price is very high. Especially the landlord is very caring and enthusiastic. I have been asking what I need. The bed is very comfortable. It is the first choice for Shangri-La. It is highly recommended as a senior traveler! ! !

This was the second time that I stayed at this property, and I purposely decided to slow down my travels to spend one night here because my previous experience was just amazing. Suo has been a great host as always, and he made me feel at home. There was a little inconvenience that I didn't even notice—a small delay in the water heating up, and Suo proactively bought me breakfast the morning after to apologize. This wasn't even needed because when I took a shower, the water was nice and hot anyway. Diego As always, I would recommend anyone to go by this property, and I will definitely be back soon.

My friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.
