I booked for one night stay because it was an early flight the next morning. It was nice that the room was spacious like an American hotel. It was comfortable with free airport pick-up/drop service. I didn't know there was a pick-up service, so I took Uber to the hotel, but when I checked in, the staff asked me first whether I was going to the airport or what time I was flying, and kindly booked. Thanks to that, I was able to go to the airport at 5 a.m. the next day.
Very good experience, the environment is quiet and beautiful, the air is fresh in the woods, especially suitable for vacation family accommodation, the environment is very good, the service is good, I am very satisfied.

Very convenient, very safe, and a good environment. The room is also large, the bathroom is a bit small but very clean, parking is also very convenient, the front desk has a good attitude, and the price is cheaper when booking from Ctrip.
The stay was good. The room felt humid, but aside from that everything was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and the shower was hot. The bed was comfortable and the service at the front desk was great.
I dont like carpet. feel not clean, its not friendly to Astma. and windown is sealed. feel air inside is not fresh. not good for breathing. bed and breakfast is good.
Lovely staff. A lot of misfits as guest. Pool looked like a club at dark.

GGuest UserI booked this Americas Best Value Inn & Suites @ Lake Charles I210-Exit-5. There was NOTHING that was comparing to a suite. In fact, it is more like a motel class. There were several factors that made us NOT HAPPY staying here, and will probably will not stay here in future. I am explaining why I rated this hotel/motel below its class: (a) first the hotel is on ”cheap” side. The towels provided were very limited, and there was no towel for the floor. The lighting in the room, as well as thru-out the property was annoying. Everywhere I see bright florescent day-time white light, so bright. The room has this same light from ceiling down. It was so bright, no adjustment. It's hard for a person to sleep, while the other person is awake and needs light. The room is a lacking several fundamental items for a hotel, no coffee machine. The shampoo/soap provided were some sample 1-person ones. The ”breakfast” area was a joke. The only thing proved was coffee, that were not good at all. Yet, trip.com's reservation had me selected either room with or without breakfast. So, I booked with breakfast. But there was nothing provided. I asked the receptionist, he said, they don't have breakfast, just coffee.
The plus side was that, they provided a good size refrigerator. And they have the microwave in the 'breakfast” area.
Although it seemed a recently built hotel, but it's just a basic motel, lacking basic necessity items in hotel room. Overall, I would not stay here again.
MMadison Carolyn KateCheck in was easy and staff was friendly. The hotel is only a 5 min drive from the airport. They have a shuttle that goes to/from the airport every hour. You will need to call or email after booking to get the shuttle times if you plan to use it.
MMoe Life nolaGreat breakfast, location wonderful, staff was helpful with directions towards canal street, bourbon street 5min week ,right in the center of all the action
GGuest UserEverything was great from the staff from the rooms being clean nice comfortable everything work but the only thing they still have DirecTV and no movie channels on Netflix when I stay in the hotel I like to watch movies
MMadi SThis motel is special: I’m a motel fan and it is the first motel I’ve ever see that goes with an elevator! it gave me both a surprise and delight that I could easily carry my luggage to the second floor. You can tell the owner knows how to do business: it’s TV is even larger than the one I lived in downtown NOLA—and most important of all, the TV is working very well. Before switching to this motel, I lived in Aloft New Orleans Downtown for 3 nights, with nightly rate above $200, yet I felt quite inconvenient because Aloft lacked this and that. So really, amenities can be new or old, but the sense of the owner to invest in essentials to provide convenience does not necessarily mean that these things have to be “fancy” (but useless). While I wouldn’t say the level of cleanliness was also super—it was ok (though the blankets could have been nicer)—but overall in the world of motels, this one makes me feel that the owner does intend to offer you some needed service.
XXiaopierThe biggest highlight of the hotel is that it is in a very central location. It is very convenient to go to the French Quarter at night. It is also very convenient to various tourist attractions and the public security nearby is also good. Although the environment is not excellent, it is still good. The hygiene is very good. Although the breakfast is simple, it is still full. The price/performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.
TTedraMy daughter was in a wedding so we stayed one night. The hotel was perfect for our stay. The room and bathroom were clean. We had the 2 double beds and the linens were clean and fresh. A/C worked perfectly. We had a very good night’s sleep.
Breakfast the next morning was delicious with a variety of choices. We had scrambled eggs, biscuits, country gravy with sausage, homemade (DYI) waffles, muffins, bagels, bread for toast, fresh fruits, oatmeal, grits, cereals, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee , and all the condiment extras to complete your meal.
The staff were very friendly, professional and kind. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.
GGuest UserThe service from the front desk was very good. No one cleaned the room after the first night which meant the trash cans were not emptied and the coffee supply was not refurbished. I did not expect new linens as it was a two night stay. The room was overall clean. I did find clothing from another client in a drawer. The room was advertised as having a desk, but the desk space had a microwave, coffee pot and ice bucket. Therefore there was no desk space. I found that the room was basically the same design as other motels for the same price but did not have a small refrigerator. Overall I was satisfied as the location was perfect for my needs.
EEngelmannHeinzDo not expect a five star stay at that historical place - expect a decent hotel, with one or other ”discrepancies”. The staff was at the check in and on the check out - verry verry friendly, already given some informations, about places to go and what is not worth to go. The room cleaness - was okay - the Hotel itself, they know, that they cannot - and i think they don´t want to match with big groups. A big advantage is a free parking space at the road, the Hotel itself, was quiet during night! Close to the Hotel - there is a starbucks coffee for breakfast . All in All - if you want to stay - as it was in former times - stay there.
