We had an excellent stay in this gem of a boutique hotel in the Junior Suite with Executive Lounge Access. Help yourself to free beer, wine, mineral water, juices and soft drinks plus snacks all through the day. Some hor d'oeuvres are served from 6pm and some light breakfast items in the morning in the well furnished lounge. The breakfast buffet is of good quality, fantastic selection of coffees & teas, decent variety of hot & cold food with an egg station manned by a cheerful Afghan cook. I was impressed by the excellent English and kind hospitality of Anja at the front desk and the wonderful Julia M. in the restaurant / breakfast room. Julia is a very gracious and lovely young lady who is an asset to the hotel with perfect language skills and who went the extra mile for us, and always with a smile.

Good location and beautiful hotel. We are a family of two adults and three kids( age between 9 to 13). Hotel charged us for three adults and two kids. Three nights we ended up paying 3000euro plus. Cost is pretty high and the most hurting point is that we only got to know this upon check out…

出行前我讓攜程的客服幫我再把海外訂單都確認下，因為我們帶小朋友，很多房間都訂了沙發床，客服説衹要有確認號就沒問題，事實上還是會出問題。比如前台説你衹訂了一個人的房間，我出示確認函顯示兩大一小，搞了很久才勉強同意幫我們鋪沙發床。如果事先再確認好可以省很多事。酒店本身有上百年的歷史，在老房子裏重新裝修過，很有歐洲宮廷奶奶風，套房面積闊綽，還加了了自動馬桶蓋，在歐洲很難得。床品和布草都挺舒服的，就是行李太多不好拎上樓，內部蜿蜒曲折。備品用的是bredo，香味好聞。早餐不算豐富，乾巴白人飯，鮮榨橙汁好喝。服務算奧地利地區比較nice的，英語交流沒問題。

We arrived at the hotel at about 13:00. The front desk said that the room was ready for check-in and gave us a room on the first floor (Room 101). After entering the room, we felt that the floor was too low, so we asked if we could change to a higher floor. The front desk said that there was a room upstairs and we needed to wait for 2 hours to clean it up or pay extra to choose another room type. We returned to the room in the principle of avoiding trouble. At this time, my husband suddenly found that our room had no balcony, and we booked a Junior Suite view on the Ctrip platform. The picture showed that it had a balcony! And the area was also larger! After we compared it, we found that the Room 101 given to us was not the room type we booked, nor was it in the pictures of the room type on the official website or any platform, so we continued to communicate with the front desk. She said that they were all the same, some had balconies and some did not. I said that we booked the Junior Suite view because we saw the picture had a balcony. After the communication, we chose to wait for 2 hours, and the front desk said to change us to a room with a balcony. Then we were outside until 17:00 and came back to check in. We found that the changed room (Room 311) was indeed larger than the previous one, but there was still no balcony. But we don't want to bother anymore. The things that made me dissatisfied with this stay are: 1. The room type reserved for us at the beginning was not the room type we booked. The front desk also admitted that Room 101 was smaller. After we communicated, we said that we wanted a balcony. The front desk asked us to wait for 2 hours for the room with a balcony to be cleaned up, but in the end the room still had no balcony. I checked through booking and Ctrip, and there were 5 Junior Suite views left that day, and there was no problem of tight supply. 2. When we first entered the room, we were given afternoon tea snacks, Sacher cake and chocolate, but we immediately asked to change rooms and they were not moved. I thought they would be put in the room we changed, but they disappeared directly... Yes, they disappeared. We said before we changed rooms that the snacks were not moved! They were gone directly. 3. When we left, we had suitcases, 2 backpacks and 1 handbag, and the staff did not help with the luggage, and even did not open the hotel door for us... In short, this stay was not pleasant.

You must stay here when you come to Salzburg to experience the castle where Princess Sissi lived. 1. The hotel service is very considerate: from the moment we drive to the hotel, there will be staff to help us park the car, and take the luggage from the car to the room according to our requirements. When checking in, we will be given a drink that is said to be Princess Sissi's favorite. Isn't it a sour plum soup with various mixed berries? Then the butler in charge of us is a handsome Austrian boy. He will take us around the hotel like Liu Laolao entering the Grand View Garden, and then introduce one by one. Knowing that I am a fan of Princess Sissi, I have watched the movie nearly 30 times since childhood, and I will go abroad to watch Princess Sissi's musical. He was also a little surprised and told me that there is also a Princess Sissi Museum in the hotel, which is full of super exquisite treasures! 2. The hotel is in a great location: right by Lake Fuschl. We booked a terrace room. You can open the French windows and walk to the terrace to drink tea facing the lake. There is also Emperor Franz Joseph's suite upstairs. 3. If I have to say the shortcomings of the hotel, it is: the road signs are not big enough and not clear enough, especially when driving from the winding mountain road. Even if I always use Google navigation, it is easy to miss the narrow path leading to the hotel; and there is a narrow road with a 45-degree downhill slope at the entrance of the hotel. It is a bit embarrassing if you encounter driving in the opposite direction😅 4. The hotel's dining is so-so: It's hard to say about eating here... Because I knew before I came that this was a hotel in the countryside and there were no restaurants nearby, so I booked the see terrace by email early. Who knew that the lake view global gourmet restaurant was closed due to weather reasons, and only the Schloss restaurant (castle restaurant) was open. I was disappointed. It's over. It's a meal in a food desert again. As expected, there are very few choices on the menu, only fried pork chops, grilled fish, steaks, etc. I ordered mushroom soup, rib-eye steak, and soufflé. The steak was good, but the sauce was not good. I asked the waiter to add black pepper. The soufflé was huge. The taste was good, but with the plum sauce, it was the kind of sweet that Europeans and Americans like... I wanted to go back to the room and eat the canned fried dace that I bought at Go Asian supermarket before coming here! Overall, this Rosewood is very suitable for vacation and enjoy a slow life!

This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched.
