Upon entering the hotel, the staff warmly welcomed us and helped us check in. The overall impression was great, and the room was very clean. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, the front desk staff used pictures to communicate with us, which was a very thoughtful touch. It was a wonderful experience, and the hotel is also very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around.
This hotel is super convenient, just a 2-3 minute walk from Sakai Station. There are also tons of izakayas nearby. The room was really spacious with a nice view. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, but I had a bit too much to drink the night before, so my appetite wasn't great and I only picked up a few things.

I've stayed at the New Otani in Hakata before, and this time I chose the one in Osaka. Both are equally luxurious and grand, but I found the room's cleanliness in Osaka to be a bit lacking compared to Hakata – there were some stains behind the closet door. The location is super convenient, close to both JR and Keihan train stations. The room was spacious enough, with two bathrooms, which was incredibly handy for a family trip. When we checked out, we made a last-minute decision to take the shuttle bus to the airport. We only had five minutes before it departed, but the front desk immediately called the shuttle service, printed our tickets, and had a bellboy whisk our luggage over. We made it onto the bus smoothly, and I'm very grateful for their quick assistance. The surrounding area is also very convenient; we took a leisurely stroll to Osaka Castle. We even stumbled upon an XG concert tour, with the venue, Osaka-Jo Hall, right across from the hotel! We snagged tickets for 400 yen and enjoyed a high-quality concert. So happy! 🥳

Carpark closed after 11pm, you will need to park nearby with very high charges. Better to take note the carpark timing, some area will require you to move your car at 2am/7am or they will count by every 30mins/60mins. Carpark charges: 2,500yen per day for hotel guest.
If you drive, traffic is bad at evening, right in front hotel.
Front desk service: Not good. Staff being not so polite after 11pm, like there is curfew for my late check in. Probably the staff also rushing to change shift.
Lobby at 17th floor, not my choice if talk about convenient but is clean and comfort.
Room: Very clean and neat, spacious. Booked for Run of House, they combined two twin beds and is comfortable. I love how they have a partition sliding door between bedroom and washroom, you can have a good night sleep at night.
Room Service: Simple & Clean for daily cleanup. Quick and responsive for additional replenish request.
Japanese style Onsen: Indoor & Outdoor, small area but great if less crowd. Sauna available inside too. Given female spa access card upon check in for onsen access.
Food: Walking distance with many nice foods and restaurants, even clubs but is all well managed.

The hotel's location is excellent. Just a few hundred meters across the pedestrian bridge, you can directly reach the station and Takashimaya, making shopping incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of great dining options nearby. The hotel facilities are very new overall, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is abundant.
Hotel REF by HMI in Izumisano is my go-to choice whenever I have an early morning flight. The prices are reasonable, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The highlight for me is definitely the hotel's large public bath and outdoor rotenburo (open-air hot spring) on the top floor – a soak there in the evening is incredibly relaxing and helps melt away fatigue. Plus, the hotel is less than 100 meters from Izumisano Station; you can see it right after exiting the subway. It's also just two stops away from Kansai Airport, making its location absolutely excellent!

My overall stay was exceptionally good, with excellent service, ambiance, room type, and meals. My overall experience far exceeded expectations.
Initially, I didn't have high hopes for the Imperial Hotel Osaka because the exterior photos looked a bit dated. However, my perception was completely overturned after checking in. It truly exceeded all expectations! Even if the hotel's facilities weren't brand new, they were incredibly well-maintained, comfortable to use, and exceptionally clean. Every detail was meticulously taken care of.
The service was meticulous and thoughtful, providing a fantastic experience, truly the standard of an established luxury hotel. The front desk staff were gentle and accommodating. One staff member (I believe her name was Kim) was especially attentive, actively helping with luggage every time I went in and out.
I stayed in a riverside room on a lower floor. The environment was very comfortable, and the price was not expensive at all (much better than many more expensive design hotels). The bedding in the room was excellent, and I slept wonderfully.
The Japanese breakfast offered by the hotel was outstanding in quality, with a well-balanced and palatable selection. The dining experience was just right, without feeling overly full. (American breakfast was also available in another restaurant).
The hotel's laundry service is also commendable. Washed clothes were clean and neatly pressed, and they were even carefully organized and tied with ribbons. This level of delicate and thoughtful care is not common even among many high-end hotels.
The hotel possesses a restrained and dignified classic charm, with sincerity towards guests evident everywhere. I have high standards for accommodation details, but this hotel still managed to be impeccable.
I would prioritize choosing this hotel again for my next trip to Osaka and am also willing to try other hotels of the same brand in different cities.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and it was just as clean and tidy as before. The room was very spacious, and the bedding, comforter, and pillows were all super comfortable. There's free coffee in the lobby, and a Lawson convenience store, McDonald's, and ramen shop nearby. The bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away, with direct service to Kansai Airport. All in all, this hotel is our top choice for accommodation in Osaka! 👍👍👍

The environment: The view from the hotel room was absolutely stunning! I stayed for three days and two nights, and both the mornings and sunsets were incredibly beautiful. The rest of the time, I was out exploring and eating!
Hygiene: The room was spacious and clean. I booked a triple room, and it was perfectly fine for three people.
Location: Excellent location, within a 15-minute walk to Yodobashi Camera, right next to Lucca, and Daimaru department store. There are also many great restaurants along the way.
Service: The beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen at the front desk were all very enthusiastic! Even with my poor Japanese, I had a pleasant conversation with them!
Thank you very much, I'd love to visit again! ^_^
After some positive experience from their Tokyo branches, I decided to try Grand Prince Osaka Bay during my stay in Osaka. There is a shuttle bus from Kansai International Airport directly to the hotel, there are buses from the hotel to Osaka station and it's within walking distance to ATC, Cosmosquare and Nakafuto (the closest) metro stations. The hotel is perfect if you plan to catch a ferry or if you want to be away from the busy areas of Osaka. The environment is spacious, with a few restaurants, cafes, and a shop to plan weddings. The hotel overall is clean and the staff are attentive. Highly recommend!

FFeiyu2834First night after flying into Osaka and the night before flying out of Osaka: both stays were here!
It's just one stop from Kansai Airport, in Rinku Town, the very first building to the right of Exit 5 – absolutely fantastic! 👍 Self-check-in is available, with simplified Chinese as an option. The accommodation tax is paid separately; I usually pay the 200 yen in cash.
There's a Lawson convenience store right next to the elevator lobby, perfect for someone like me who loves buying water and yogurt!
The window can open a small crack, and there's also fresh air ventilation, so comfortable 😌.
The layout is logical, and it has everything you need! Highly recommended!!!
GGuest UserWaldorf set the tone for the entire luxury hotel in Osaka, it deserves the highest praise. From the moment you step out of the car upon entering the hotel, the emotional experience is flawless. Upon reaching the reception area, the hot towels and tea are a first thing you'll find that sets it apart from other luxury hotels. This attention to detail is so thoughtful; it shows how much they understand that after transportation, travelers can perform a handwashing ritual, representing not only physical cleanliness but also a reminder of mental well-being. It's fantastic. The only suggestion I could make is that having someone sit down during check-in would be better than standing at the reception desk. Other staff members who left a deep impression included Yui and another girl who showed us to our room (I don't remember her name, but I do remember she taught me that Yui's name is Y and I; she was all smiles, in high spirits, and explained the hotel facilities very well, greatly reducing any sense of unfamiliarity as a new guest). Since we returned to the hotel quite late that night, we mainly went to the bar near the back entrance for drinks. The bartenders were very attentive, and the welcome drink was delicious. When leaving the hotel, the staff throughout the journey were attentive. Because our next destination was relatively close to the hotel, the staff at the entrance (I forgot his name, but I remember he was short and had braces; his performance that day was perfect) arranged for a hotel car to escort us there. The driver was Italian, very professional, and had an excellent attitude. Words of gratitude are insufficient to praise this outstanding driver. If a hotel's maximum score is 5, I would give it a 6. It truly embodies the image of a luxury hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I will definitely return on my next trip. I am grateful for everyone's efforts throughout the journey.
BBinglinaisuiExtremely satisfied, I'd give it a perfect score! They also offer an airport shuttle that takes a scenic route along the coast, which was absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful; they brought an iron to my room when I asked, and when I mentioned I was cold, they brought two extra duvets and a heater! I was so touched. Overall, they were very patient and meticulous. The location is excellent too, with luxury stores right downstairs – perfect for shopping and very convenient.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel doesn't have a laundry room (I wonder, do none of the local hotels have one?). The free evening outdoor activities provided by the hotel were absolutely fantastic, really boosting the mood. With little games, snacks, and drinks accompanied by the building's light show, spending time on the lawn downstairs in the evening was truly enjoyable.
GGuest UserI got a sleep score of 93. That says it all. Great hotel with amazing sleep comfort. Super central location in Osaka. I managed to use both their gym and pool facilities which are great. Actually, for a hotel, I was quite surprised with the how nice the gym is.
The hotel seems to have many visitors a day and service is impeccable and keeps things flowing very smoothly.
XXiaoyuhuiThe location is extremely convenient. If you're looking for an old-school hotel vibe, you might find it here, but the facilities are really outdated – I couldn't stand them. The showerhead was in the bathtub and there was no separate shower, which was a real deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely stick to newer hotels from now on. The Japanese restaurant on the fifth floor was pretty good; I had sushi for a reasonable price, with 16k and 26k options available.
OOmoshiRokunThis is a fantastic hotel located near Osaka Station, offering convenient transportation and a bustling commercial area. It's easy to get to Shin-Osaka Station and Kansai Airport from here. You can even take the airport bus directly to the hotel's doorstep. However, the signage for the airport bus stop on the hotel side isn't very clear; you'll need to enter KITTE OSAKA and then go through the glass door on the left.
The hotel lobby is on the 29th floor, along with the breakfast area. Check-in was very quick. We had a corner room with a great view and plenty of natural light. The room was well-equipped, and the minibar was complimentary for the first use.
Breakfast offers à la carte service, but there are only two options. The variety of breakfast choices is decent, featuring typical Western and Japanese selections commonly found in Japanese hotels.
GGuest UserI originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. When I told the front desk, they were dismissive, merely saying someone would come to collect it, without even an apology. Later, while we were out, they left two boxes of Pocky biscuits... truly perfunctory. Then, we went to the Living Room on the third floor for drinks, and the server was practically bowing to Caucasian guests, while being very dismissive towards us. Around 10 PM, I called their 24/7 Whatever/Whenever service for an extra duvet, and they told me they had none left. The next day, I ordered room service through the Bonvoy app, and since I couldn't find the order on the web version, I called again to confirm. They said they'd call me back after checking with room service, but the meal arrived and I never got a call back. It felt like they didn't care about their guests at all. Also, the suite's minibar is entirely chargeable, and there are no additional services. It really felt like I paid a hefty price just to rent the room itself. I can't really praise the service from a five-star Marriott-branded hotel. This review is a heads-up for anyone considering booking this hotel. Though I doubt W Osaka will care about my review; they're always fully booked and don't lack customers. Oh, and the front desk concierge who spoke Chinese were all from Taiwan.

YyucongseuExcellent stay! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and service were consistently up to InterContinental standards. The view from the window was great, offering a glimpse of the red Ferris wheel. The location is superb, right next to Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby, so dining, drinking, and shopping are all very easy. Plus, breakfast is free for children under six, which is a great value.
