5-Star Hotels in Metro Manila, Philippines

This is my first time here at I’M Hotel. And I fell in love immediately to their facilities and to the room. The hotel is so clean and the hotel employees are very polite and friendly. I love the see through pool. I’m planning to bring my family here for them to experience the hospitality of the hotel employees.

Had a fantastic experience at New World Makati Hotel. The room was spotless and super comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Loved the swimming pool and the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. Thanks

The room was really clean and the view was great. All staff are friendly and very helpful. Room dine in was fantastic, the food taste great. We dine at Steakhouse resto for dinner and it was worth trying. Will surely comeback again.

The variety and quality of breakfast offered by the hotel are dropping to an unsatisfactory level since it changed to be Managed by the new Lavie Group. Food choices are limited and the staffs did not refill the food on trays. Cheese…… horrible smell when walk near to the cheese corner. The herbal cheese paste smell and taste like **** ! Wonder if the chef passed the training to work in this so called 4-5 star hotel ?! Food choices and quality back in the old days as managed by the New World group and Hyatt Group are always perfect ! I do hope to see improvement from the hotel chef !

The lobby is amazing after so many years it still looking grande. The room is a big disappointment. It needs upgrading. The carpet is absolutely dusty and if you are rhinitis sufferer beware. The breakfast was great. With its affordable price I will still return.

I had a fantastic stay at Seda Vertis North from February 8-12 while on a business trip. The Corner Suite was spacious, modern, and had everything I needed—a comfortable king-sized bed, a well-lit work desk, and fast WiFi that made working from the hotel effortless. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave me a beautiful city view, which was a nice touch after a long day of meetings. One of the best parts of my stay was the exclusive lounge access—a quiet and comfortable space where I could work, enjoy refreshments, and unwind in between tasks. The location was also a big plus, as it was close to business centers, restaurants, and shopping malls. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, and I appreciated the well-maintained gym and pool, which allowed me to relax and recharge. Overall, Seda Vertis North was the perfect home base for my business trip—comfortable, convenient, and well-managed. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

The room was spacious and incredibly clean. Plus, the view from our room was amazing. There was a great food selection during the breakfast, and we truly appreciated the attentiveness of all the staff. In a nutshell, it was a wonderful stay!

GOOD: 1. Buffet breakfast was wide and varied. Appreciated that they anticipated the Valentine's volume of guests having breakfast and had addl seating and food set up in the lobby area outside Cafe 8. 2. Water refilling machine by the elevator lobby prevented used plastic bottle wastage. Good green initiative. 3. Room was still the same... Comfortable but getting old. No electric outlet on the right side of the bed? COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. Considering their check in is at 3pm vs other hotel's 2pm...we only got the sms that our room was available at 4.05pm. Then we had to queue at the check-in counter which only had 2 people! Two! It is Valentine's day and you know you have full house situation... We had to wait another 20 minutes to get our room key. Total 1.5hrs wasted before getting into our room. We then asked if we could ask for 30min extra late checkout on top of their 11am check out versus 12noon hotel standard. FLAT NO was the answer. We have mixed feelings about our latest stay in Crimson Filinvest thus the 3 out of 5 star rating for their service.

Very enjoyable hotel. The swimming pool was great (though a little chilly in the evenings). Very easy to get to the MoA. Very nice bar upstairs at pool and downstairs. Huge TV. Comfortable bed. They are transitioning to use a QR code to order things like room service...but it frequently didn't work. Even the lady at the front desk wasn't able to get it to work. I like the idea of it, but it still needs to be worked out. Also, they only give 2 containers of water... They staff gave me more when I asked, but they should stock rooms with at least 4. I would definitely stay again.

I didn’t felt the luxurious vibe of the hotel though it was known as one of the 5-star luxurious hotel. I am a bit dissapointed also that they have limitations for the usage of swimming pool for the registered guest visitors. I have tried to checked in to other hotels not experiencing that. They allowed the visitors to use the facilities like swimming pool for kids. I am also dissapointed that outside food are not allowed inside the room.   Lastly, for a luxurious hotel, i think even the cheapest room rate should have a bath tub. Toiletries are not extravagant.  Nevetheless, we enjoyed our stay, they still provide my little request whenever i call to guest assistance.  Food is good. But again, i felt some discrimination on their services to hotel guests. 😊

and while the experience had its positives, there were some areas of concern. The towels were not changed and looked old, which was unacceptable. Using the shower area is unsafe as it seemed poorly designed. the water container provided in the room was messy, which was disappointing. It would be much better if the hotel could provide bottled water instead for convenience and hygiene. Another issue was the noise level. The sound from outside was quite disruptive, indicating poor ventilation or insulation. It made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep so now like someone laughing loudly and opening the door is truly making me awake, reason I have time to leave a review. For a hotel advertised as five-star on your website, this was far from a five-star experience—especially for someone like me who enjoys staycations. It absolutely did not meet expectations. These issues need improvement for a better guest experience.

Loved our experience at MDR ❤️ Booked an overnight stay with my son and requested a SIMPLE surprise for him at the room, and yes, THEY MADE IT HAPPEN without confirming nor declining my request. LOVED THE INDOOR POOL because it’s only 4ft and it’s the perfect depth for him without me worrying cos I did not swim 😄 Breakfast was GREAT! We chose the continental bfast buffet but I think they have a filipino buffet also at the 4th floor. LOVED the choices too. Staff were VERY accommodating, polite and friendly. There was a power interruption at 10am until check out but it was fine.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

I had a really good stay, and it was actually 4 nights. I really like the pool, and the hotel location is super close to Glorietta, Greenbelt, and Landmark malls. Housekeeping was great, and front desk staff (thank you Cyrus) were kind and very helpful with information. The only one thing is that hotel is a little bit older, as could be seen with some of the wooden paneling and desk. In addition, the light switches were a bit confusing sometimes, and the carpet could use a change soon. However, the shower was hot and strong, and the overall room was very functional, with a LOT of storage space/options in the room. All facilities like the pool, the gym, and the restaurants looked great, and the lobby lounge is beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, and I can’t see myself looking for another hotel choice unless a competitor is offering a massive promotion. This is a great hotel in my opinion.

Room is clean , only the floor is full of hair . My son play on the floor and his toy always full of hairs . Location is very good . Mostly of mall are just walking distance

I recently celebrated my birthday at Oakwood Makati Avenue and wanted to share my experience. Communication: Before my stay, I found it challenging to get a timely response from the hotel. I had to send several emails before receiving a reply. Check-in: The check-in process was smooth. The receptionist was very helpful and even offered us a tour of a showroom before we chose our suite, which was a nice touch. The Suite: Our suite was spacious and elegant. However, I noticed a few areas for improvement: the handheld shower was difficult to operate, especially for older guests, and the bidet wasn’t functioning properly. Additionally, the TV channels were mostly limited to news and local shows. View: We loved the view from our suite facing Century Mall, where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet had a limited selection. I missed having croissants or danishes. They offered a free slice of cake, but you needed to like their Facebook page and leave a five-star review on Google for that. Spa Experience: The staff at the Onsen Spa were excellent, and I appreciated the free coffee and juice available in the lounge. Gym and Pool: The gym was small and had some older equipment. However, the pool area was fantastic, especially the glass pool. Unfortunately, the bar by the pool lacked a lively atmosphere, with limited music and menu options. It was surprising that they didn’t offer smoothies or refreshing drinks. Facilities: It’s worth noting that Oakwood and I’m Hotel share some facilities, which adds variety to the experience. Overall, I had a lovely birthday stay, and with a few improvements, this hotel could really stand out!

Had a very nice stay. Room was spacious and had all the amenities. Service was great. Called down for shaving kit and iron/ironing board as well as hair dryer and they brought them up to room for us. Dinner at The rooftop restaurant was amazing. Breakfast has a lot of good choices and food was very good. Loved having evening turn down service.

It was better than I thought Actually, I live in BGC, but I went on a staycation. It was adjacent to the greenbelt and the room condition was good. I plan to use it again next time There are two breakfast options, so they are delicious and there are Korean staff at Inception, so it was convenient.

Very nice hotel. Good value. Club rooms are worth the extra cost. Thank you to the staff in the club room. They were very helpful and friendly as were all staff at the hotel.

1. Service: While the staff were diligent, I noticed that fulfilling requests often took longer than expected and sometimes required multiple staff members to complete a single task. This inconsistency, while not overly disruptive, did affect the smoothness of my stay. 2. Birthday Celebration: I requested a birthday celebration, but the offerings were limited to a balloon and a towel shaped like a cake, which didn’t meet my expectations. In my experience, other 5-star hotels usually provide a complimentary cake without needing to ask, especially my actual birthday is during my one week stay. I only received a cake after making a direct request. 3. Amenities: I was disappointed that the room did not include a coffee machine for coffee capsules. This is a standard amenity in many 5-star hotels. 4. Highlight Service: One positive note was that the hotel accommodated my request to reheat squid ink rice from an outside restaurant (see pic for reference)

This boutique hotel’s rooms are on the smallish side, bathrooms lack added privacy, interior design is a little quirky and the tiny pool is picturesque versus functional. Positives include warm staff graciousness, super clean rooms, free parking and excellent Manila Bay view from their 9th floor general eating area and bar.

The best hotel in Manila! Everything you need for a staycation is here, the facilities are very modern and they have fast room service for your needs and orders. The room view of the water fountain show is perfect! Also have jacuzzi in the rooms

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The interconnected pool deck allows for easy access to multiple pools. Most Nobu hotel staff are very helpful especially Karl of front desk, but some staff are rude and very disrespectful the team of XRAY security. We asked them politely but they answered us in a disrespectful way, maybe they think they owned the hotel how they talk. Maybe they they just lack of manners because that’s how they grow up and they need more “RE TRAINING” to do how they treat a hotel guest. The hotel is connected to DreamPlay, an indoor theme park by DreamWorks, designed specifically for children. It offers interactive play zones based on popular DreamWorks movies, which will keep younger kids entertained. The hotel can be enjoyable for a family stay, especially if you're looking to balance luxury with activities for the kids. However, keep in mind that the ****** and nightlife may be a downside for some. And booking through Trip.com is very convenient.

If you want to go to Nuwa from DreamPlay area with children, you have to take shuttle as they only have one route which has to pass through the ******, which is quite unfriendly. Overall the hotel scale is small and facilities are minimal. We had lunch in Crystal Dragon, which the quality is surprisingly good, Guangdong style and the portion is quite big. Dinner in Haliya which is above standard, suggest reservation during the weekend. Spa is soso. I didn't realized Nuwa do not offer buffet breakfast (I'm not sure if we can have it in Hyatt Regency?) We just simply had a Filipino style a la carte breakfast next to the pool, a bit disappointed.
