A really great hotel! The location is excellent, with many attractions nearby, and you can even walk to the riverside. The room facilities are complete, and all the toiletries are individually packaged and disposable, which feels very clean and reassuring. The room also includes complimentary afternoon tea. The overall amenities are thoughtful and comprehensive, the hardware provides a great experience, and the service is also very good and welcoming. It offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The service was excellent. Every staff member I encountered, from the lobby to housekeeping and the restaurant, was warm and dedicated, making my stay very satisfying.
I especially enjoyed the thoughtful late-night snack, which was plentiful and delicious.
The double lobby afternoon tea buffet offered a great variety of pastries and drinks.
The room's large TV also had a screen mirroring function, which was a nice touch.
Stayed at this hotel again, and I'll definitely choose it next time I'm in Harbin. They upgraded me to room 312 for free, whereas last time I was in 310. The room is spacious, comfortable, bright, and tidy, with plenty of sunlight throughout the day. The windows can be opened easily for ventilation, which is a plus. I especially loved the bed linens – they were thick, soft, smooth, and breathable. The service was very attentive; I had a lot of shopping, and the front desk thoughtfully brought me a carrying bag and promptly provided drinking water. There's a fish tank in the lobby that I always enjoy looking at when coming and going. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Baroque area. It's convenient for getting to the riverside park, the snack street, and local markets… pretty much everywhere, and even better for dining. They were very friendly and kind to my kids, speaking to them gently. My two boys moved the small slide from the second-floor play area to our room to avoid disturbing other guests. Was that a bit selfish of us? Luckily, we didn't see any other children around.
The hotel's cleanliness and overall environment are excellent. The clean rooms, tidy public areas, thoughtfully decorated rooms, and rich and varied breakfast offer a comfortable and pleasant stay. The professional and friendly service team is quick and attentive to guests, providing prompt and thoughtful responses to check-in, directions, and daily needs. As a frequent business traveler, I've experienced convenient and efficient travel. Although a bit out of the city center, the hotel is conveniently located for transportation and easy access, especially with its own parking lot, making it a reassuring and convenient place for those traveling by car. The city's Public Security Bureau is across the street from the hotel, giving me a strong sense of security. A highly recommended place!

The hotel was actual quite a walk away from Zhaolin Park metro station. However, the location is very central to many interesting places especially Zhongyang Pedestrian Street. One can also take a walk to the Chinese Baroque street, Central Avenue or the Flood Control Monument while looking at the sunset. Take the metro and you can reach Sun Island easily. Our room on the fourth floor was spacious and clean. Shower pressure was strong and aircond good. Morning breakfast was local fare which comes with the room. Otherwise, one can easily walk out towards Hongzhuan morning market for other choices or the many shops near the hotel. Do use the local buses to take you nearer to popular spots. The Frontline service was good and we appreciated their parting gift on our last day. After many stays with Holiday Inn Express group, we are confident of the quality of stay and services. Looking forward to the next Holiday Inn Express destination.

## Amenities:
The mattress was comfortable, two types of pillows were provided, a smart toilet, a TV with screen-mirroring capabilities, and the internet speed was very fast! The slippers were the thickest and most comfortable I've ever encountered in any hotel.
## Cleanliness:
The shower drain wasn't clean and was a bit clogged; I had to deal with it myself while showering.
## Ambiance:
I had requested a high floor, but was only given the 7th floor, so my view was ultimately blocked by the tall building directly in front. Additionally, the room was right by the elevator entrance. Luckily, there were no noisy tour groups blocking the elevators that day, so it was relatively quiet.
## Service:
Almost non-existent. During check-in, there were two front desk staff. The male staff member was warmly smiling and assisting another group, while the female staff member gave me a cold reception. When I asked about the floor, she simply said my room type wasn't available on the 9th floor. Normally, one would expect something like, ”This room type isn't available on the 9th floor, would you like to consider an upgrade to a different room type on the 9th floor?” She offered no smile and was very curt. After she simply stated my room type wasn't available, I didn't feel like pursuing the conversation further. *Sigh*.
▶ There are self-service drinks in the lobby on the first floor, but the staff didn't inform me. I only found out about them after seeing it online.
▶ Upon check-out, there's supposed to be a farewell gift, but the staff didn't mention it. Long after I had left, I received a message on the Ctrip app saying there was one, meaning I would have had to inquire at the front desk myself. *Ahem*.
▶ I didn't book the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the restaurant allows you to order items à la carte. My companion and I spent 20 yuan and were completely full. (The fried rice was delicious!)
● Overall, in terms of value for money, it's really good! It just falls short on the details. (I wonder if this has anything to do with booking a discounted room? 🤔)

Everything about my stay was fantastic, especially the service and the room. I'll definitely be back! The hotel's location on Central Street is perfect – super convenient for the subway and buses. There's a mall and a large supermarket right next door, so it's in a really bustling, central area. The night views are beautiful too. The room was clean and tidy, and I really appreciated the toilet disinfectant, a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend!

I really have to praise this hotel! From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was delightful. The room was meticulously clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. Every detail was so clean that it put my mind at ease. Stepping into the room, a refreshing cleanliness immediately enveloped me; it was spotless, and even the air felt fresh. And I absolutely must praise the breakfast! The variety was extensive, with Chinese hot dishes, steamed buns, porridge, Western pastries, and coffee. The live cooking station offered delicious food made fresh, and the ingredients were clearly fresh. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the staff were diligent in refilling dishes and very friendly. After reading reviews, I was most looking forward to this breakfast, and the overall experience was superb. Manager Tutu was gentle and patient, and any requests were handled promptly. It's so comforting to encounter such a thoughtful hotel during a trip. Definitely worth a five-star rating!

AAnonymous UserTraveling during the off-season is truly a great deal. The facilities are excellent, and it offers great value for money.
The hotel's location is superb, just a three to five-minute walk to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral, and less than ten minutes to the Hongzhuan Street morning market.
The auntie (housekeeping) cleans daily and provides plenty of bottled drinking water (perhaps knowing how dry Harbin can be).

GGuest UserWhat's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

PPHANG ENG HUEIThe overall experience at Deluxe Hotel was elegant and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, the bedding soft and clean, and the service professional and attentive, making for a very pleasant stay. The dining options were varied and delicious, and the environment was quiet and convenient, suitable for both business and leisure. The only downsides were the high price and the need to book some facilities in advance. Overall, I recommend it; it's worth experiencing.

HHasan ArabaciThe hotel is quite nice. Very clean, quite modern and new. Breakfast was nice, the personell could not speak English but was helping wherever and whenever they could.
Unfortunately it is a bit far from downtown but definitely easily reachable with a DİDİ.
I really recommend the hotel
GGuest UserThis was an experience that truly exceeded our expectations. For our girls' getaway, we chose the four-person suite. The hotel's location is excellent, right at the start of Central Street Pedestrian Street on Jingwei Street. What really made a difference was the hotel's service; it wasn't just one or two good staff members, but every interaction we had was fantastic. The front desk was incredibly thoughtful, reserving a specific floor for us based on our request. When we went for our complimentary afternoon tea, the buffet lunch was still ongoing, and they very kindly let us help ourselves. When afternoon tea officially started, they thoughtfully suggested we could move to a different table and offered to make us tea. Knowing someone in our group was celebrating a birthday, the hotel even sent a gift box of red sausages as a birthday present 🎁, which was incredibly touching. There were so many other small details that made us feel the hotel's service quality was top-notch.

AAnnaaaaaGHow should I even start, the whole stay was just amazing although it was only for a night. I booked 3 rooms in total for my family and the host and all the staff were so nice, they picked us up, gave us fruits and drinks, treated us like a close friend and family. My dad wasn't feeling well and they kept caring about us which was amazing. They have their own food too so we ate there but it's amazing tooo!!! Oh yes, the room is clean, it's as what you see online and it's really worthy the money if you're going to XueXiang snow village. Book this hotel!
MM312603****We stayed here for a ski trip. Our butler contacted us a day in advance and picked us up as soon as we got off the high-speed train. We were able to check in around 10 AM, which I thought would be much later.
We had lunch on the hotel's first basement floor, and the food was exceptionally delicious and perfectly suited my Cantonese palate.
After skiing, we returned around 4 PM, and the butler brought us a humidifier and some fruit.
Any service we requested in the evening was delivered immediately after a phone call; the response time was incredible.
If it weren't for my teammate getting sick and needing to return to Harbin for treatment, we would have definitely stayed another night, especially since we still had a day trip to Snow Village planned.
When we left for the station, the butler even rode with us to see us off. They were so thoughtful and enthusiastic. Although the weather was cold, it warmed our hearts.

WWOSIKYI was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Originally, I booked it as a transitional stay between 1903 and Aoluguya. But the room gave me the impression that the owner only wants to make money in winter – is this really what you get for 300 RMB? The hardware is top-notch, and the bedding is super comfortable. You can tell there are thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, like the bathtub door that opens and closes to suit different guests, and you can even watch TV while soaking. The small courtyard is also lovely with a little pond, which I imagine would be fun for a dip in the summer. The slippers were comfy too. I actually missed breakfast because the bed was so comfortable I just slept right through it 😂.
There's one minor complaint: the sink faucet doesn't have an aerator, but the bathtub faucet does. It doesn't really affect anything though. The toilet isn't electric, but personally, I'm not bothered by those things, and a non-electric toilet actually fits the hotel's overall style quite well.
Overall, even though it was an upgraded room type, the biggest difference between room types is just the size, but the price difference isn't huge. I'm definitely willing to pay a bit more for a better stay.
Even though it's next to the street, it's very quiet. I'd definitely choose this hotel again in the future; it's genuinely good.
GGuest UserI was truly impressed! I arrived at 1 AM, and the front desk staff was incredibly patient. The breakfast was delicious and the place was very clean. No strange smells from the bed or bathroom. Plus, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, with the toilet and shower in separate cubicles, which was really convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin. It's also super close to Central Street!
