Our whole family came to Harbin this time, and the ladies at the front desk were all so thoughtful. Since it was raining a lot during our stay, they kindly reminded us to bring rain gear. The room was spacious and very clean, and all the toiletries were well-prepared. The location is unbeatable; it's right on the lively Central Street, making it super convenient for eating and shopping. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and they were always ready to help with anything we needed. Wishing them a prosperous business!

Our first stop on a family trip, the 1.35-meter twin room was perfect – clean and with comfortable bedding. The hotel's location is excellent; you just walk out, cross a small street, and in three minutes you're at the Central Street Madie'er Hotel. Keep walking and you'll reach the popular Hongzhuan Street Morning Market. The Harbin Museum is right behind the hotel. The service was great too; I needed to print some express shipping labels for urgent work, and the hotel staff quickly helped me out.

What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night? The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view. The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please. This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret. It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place? Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

Excellent stay! The location is fantastic, very close to several popular attractions, all within walking distance. They offer complimentary afternoon tea, robot service, and unlimited free bottled water. Although it's a bit noisy due to poor soundproofing, the hotel provides free eye masks and earplugs which solves the issue. All the staff were friendly and proactive. Thumbs up for this hotel!

The hotel's decor style is very new and different from the older Holiday Inn Express, perhaps they've updated their product line. The front desk lady quietly upgraded our room type, and the room was very characteristic of Northeast China, haha. It's spacious and very clean, with not a single water stain on the faucets or showerhead, which made my OCD very happy. It's a shame we had to switch hotels later to go elsewhere, otherwise, I would have definitely stayed here longer. Breakfast was also very rich. Thumbs up!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right opposite the entrance to Central Street, not the side with the Flood Control Monument. To reach the monument and the Songhua River, you'd need to walk the entire length of Central Street. The metro station is also a convenient 7-8 minute walk from the hotel, making getting around very easy. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, and we received complimentary Modere ice cream and afternoon tea every day. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having bottled water readily available in many public areas. The laundry room was well-equipped with several washing machines and dryers, so we rarely had to wait. We stayed in a family suite, which was perfect for traveling with children, offering two bathrooms – no queues for the toilet! It's about a 20-minute walk to the Flood Control Monument and a little over ten minutes to Saint Sophia Cathedral. There's also a great local iron pot stew restaurant right downstairs with delicious food.

How should I even start, the whole stay was just amazing although it was only for a night. I booked 3 rooms in total for my family and the host and all the staff were so nice, they picked us up, gave us fruits and drinks, treated us like a close friend and family. My dad wasn't feeling well and they kept caring about us which was amazing. They have their own food too so we ate there but it's amazing tooo!!! Oh yes, the room is clean, it's as what you see online and it's really worthy the money if you're going to XueXiang snow village. Book this hotel!

Great location with a spacious parking lot. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating the change. The hotel is right next to a ski resort, and they even offered free skiing passes for the whole family, which was a nice bonus!

The hotel facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped (except for a slightly loose toilet seat in the room). It's a two-minute walk to the Central Avenue commercial area, and Harbin Station and Harbin Institute of Technology are just a ten-minute drive away. The surrounding transportation network is excellent. The air conditioning in the rooms is strong, making for a refreshing and comfortable stay during summer, perfect for both travel and leisure. The free coffee is also delicious!

I had the most pleasant stay at the hotel! Ever since my booking they contacted me to stay in touch and asked if i needed any help prior my trip. Every booking was assigned a butler, and our Butler Cao made the trip cery smooth and comfortable! Just inform any inquiries or wish list that you have and he will deliver! He even picked us from the station and our luggage, brought us to the famous spots, shortcuts and accompanied us around the town. I even asked questions after my stay and they still gladly reply which i will be forever thankful. The room is exactly how it looks like in the pictures cery clean and comfortable. We have informed beforehand regarding our dietary restrictions and they understood and prepared breakfast which were muslim friendly. The hotel’s location is perfect as its very near the centre but not too close so it was comfortable and it was not so noisy at night. Overally we had a very pleasant stay and recommend this hotel for anyone interested! Definitely regret staying for only 1 night and wished we could stay longer
