Facilities: This is an old hotel, and the facilities are all quite dated, from the floors to the cabinets and tables. It's quite odd that there's no restroom in the lobby on the first floor; you either have to walk several minutes back to your room or go to a nearby restaurant.
Cleanliness: I didn't take a picture of the small round coffee table, but it was very dirty. I even found bugs in the bathroom!
Environment:
Exterior: There's a karaoke bar either upstairs or downstairs. It's fine at night, but really noisy in the morning! Although we were warned about this at check-in, what good is a warning then? It's not like you can change hotels with all your luggage.
Interior: I've never seen a hotel like this. After getting off the elevator, you have to walk for about two minutes, winding around corners, just to get to your room. The layout design is definitely problematic!
Breakfast: The variety was very limited, but everything tasted pretty good.
Service: Still commendable.

Choosing the right hotel when traveling with kids is so important! The family room at Andu Hotel was absolutely perfect for us, with all the amenities we needed. The hotel called us the day before check-in to provide directions to the parking lot. Since we had a lot of luggage, a staff member even met us at the parking lot to help us. At check-in, the front desk proactively offered children's toothbrushes and slippers – such thoughtful details! The front desk lady was incredibly kind. The room was spacious and odor-free, and the wet/dry separated bathroom was super practical. The free minibar drinks made my child so happy. Many attractions are within walking distance, and there's a snack street right downstairs. The environment is excellent. Highly recommend for families with kids!

This smart hotel is absolutely fantastic! The whole room is equipped with a smart system, so you can open the door and use the elevator with face recognition, which means no fumbling for a room key. The power is on 24/7, so no outages. From the comfort of your bed, you can just call out to turn lights on/off, open/close the curtains, and adjust the air conditioning – no more searching for switches, it's a lifesaver for anyone who loves to relax! Even when you order takeout, a robot delivers it right to your door, making pickup super convenient. It's clean, high-tech, convenient, and fun. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is quite decent and has basic facilities. Although there are few parking spaces, you can still park early. There are many shops around, so you don't have to worry about places to eat and drink. The hotel is worth the room price.

Fantastic location with parking available. Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) is just a short walk away, and the area is packed with great food options. Plus, there's a well-stocked convenience store right downstairs for anything you might need. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Nanjing.

Our River View room offered absolutely fantastic views, with a panoramic vista of Langshan Mountain and the Yangtze River. The location is superb, being very close to both shopping malls and Nantong University. The facilities were excellent and well-equipped, including a microwave which was very convenient for heating up food in the evenings. Overall, the room was clean and tidy.

This trip to Changzhou was full of pleasant surprises! The Yuncheng Yiju Hotel, in particular, far exceeded my expectations!
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the rooms were spacious and bright, and the amenities were modern. The service was incredibly attentive too. Its location was very convenient, not far from any of the attractions, and offered excellent value for money!
The most exciting part was that if you buy a ticket to Changzhou Dinosaur Park right now, you also get a free ticket to the Water Park! One ticket for two amazing parks – what a fantastic deal! The immersive dinosaur-themed attractions and shows at Dinosaur Park made us feel like we'd traveled back to the Jurassic period, and the Water Park was a perfect summer paradise for water fun. Both adults and children had such a blast they didn't want to leave!
On the second evening, we visited the Cultural Plaza. Not only was the architecture stunning and perfect for photos, but we also caught a free outdoor concert! The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Enjoying local delicacies while listening to the music instantly filled me with a sense of pure travel bliss!
I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Changzhou. Everything was well-planned, allowing us to have a blast without any worries. I'll definitely be back!

I saw a lot of bad reviews before, so I was a bit hesitant when I went, but I figured since it was cheap, I'd check it out. I even packed my own toiletries, but didn't end up needing them at all. I personally witnessed a cleaning lady working incredibly hard, literally sweating, and cleaning very thoroughly. She patiently helped me solve problems and even wiped her shoe soles clean before entering our room each time. Seeing that, I was truly reassured about their hygiene. The location is also great, very close to the subway station. It's super convenient to park at the hotel and take the subway out, avoiding the risk of traffic jams.

Afternoon Tea at Zhujian Sijitang: Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea with my child at the guesthouse. We basked in the sun and ordered a pot of Longjing tea, which was fragrant and delicious. My child especially loved the red dates!
Complimentary Hanfu Experience: Taking advantage of the beautiful sunshine, I dressed my child up a bit. We got to experience being a Hanfu princess right at the guesthouse for free! My little princess even played the guqin and was so happy!
I give full marks for the guesthouse's service – it was warm, thoughtful, attentive, and friendly!
I'm also incredibly satisfied with the guesthouse's environment. It's right next to the Suzhou Museum, a very quiet private garden-style guesthouse. The old trees in the courtyard are also beautiful; I can only imagine how stunning it must be in spring and autumn!

Couldn't believe how quiet the room was, especially in such a bustling area. I checked in late at night, and Xiao Yu at the front desk processed everything quickly and kindly reminded me about breakfast times. The mattress was just right, not too soft, not too firm, and I slept like a log. The freshly made noodles for breakfast were a warm and comforting touch. After a long day of sightseeing, this place was the perfect pit stop.

CChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel because I wanted to try out this style, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience. The only minor drawback was that the location was a bit hard to find at first; after parking the car at the entrance of Pingjiang Road, we had to walk a distance, and the ground was uneven, which made it a bit challenging with luggage.
On the day of check-in, the front desk surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a bathtub, which was a really pleasant surprise. The front desk staff also had an excellent attitude, making us feel very well taken care of.
Additionally, upon check-in, thoughtful touches like small cookies, fruit, yogurt, and a welcome card were provided. These little details really enhanced the experience.
The only thing is that the lighting in the room was a bit dim. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't know how to operate it, or if it was designed that way. It would have been perfect if the lighting brightness could be adjusted.

KK. and FamilyThis hotel stands out as one of the finest I've ever experienced. The staff were exceptional—their genuine friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond made all the difference. The Asian breakfast was perfect for the winter weather, featuring steaming hot millet porridge. Our stay was further brightened by Xiao Mai, the resident corgi. We also admired the owner's compassion; they not only rescued a stray cat but also regularly feed the local strays, noting that without providing food and shelter, many would not survive the cold winter. Definitely will stay with this hotel again if we visit Nanjing!
GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.
MM224225****It's absolutely no surprise this B&B has been crowned the most beautiful in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town for several years running! The owner's design perfectly blends ancient charm with modern comfort; every single corner is a picturesque delight, offering endless photo opportunities. What truly touched my heart was the proprietress's exceptional kindness. She welcomed us with refreshing watermelon and snacks right when we arrived, and even had more thoughtfully prepared for us after a long day of exploring. The beautifully designed courtyard, complete with fish, turtles, and a swimming pool, adds so much character. It genuinely offers a unique and enchanting take on the classic beauty of a Jiangnan water town.
MM12114****I booked a two-night coupon package. I managed to book for Friday but couldn't get a room for Saturday, which was pretty awkward. I asked the front desk to help, but they just said, 'There's nothing we can do,' and that was that. Funnily enough, there were still rooms available on Trip.com for Saturday night, so I had to make a separate booking through them.
I called the front desk twice, and both staff members assured me that if I split the stay, I could get a refund for the remaining night. But when I checked the rules, it clearly stated no refunds! Seriously, if you don't know the rules, just say so; don't give out false information.
The hotel facilities and decor are quite old, but the central location is a plus. On the first night, I stayed in a twin room. For the second night, there were no twin rooms left, so I got a king-sized bed. They said it was an upgrade to a deluxe king room, but the room phone didn't work, and there wasn't another phone anywhere in the room. I had to call the front desk using the hotel's number on Trip.com. Why? Because I needed an extra blanket. Breakfast was pretty mediocre, and the vermicelli in the duck blood vermicelli soup was quite bad.
AAnonymous UserExtended my stay for two more days and it was truly excellent! From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was so thoughtful. They greeted me politely, the hygiene was meticulously maintained, and the facilities had a cozy, home-like feel. They even gave me a small gift upon check-out, which was a lovely touch.

MM227959****Fantastic location right by the Qinhuai River, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. The hotel even upgraded my room! It was clean, and the service was excellent. I especially loved being able to grab a bowl of millet porridge late at night! Very satisfied!
MM542914****An excellent experience! The hotel is incredibly grand, almost like a shopping mall when you first enter. The front desk staff was wonderful, and even helped upgrade my room. Extending my stay directly with the hotel was cheaper than booking through a platform, which was a great deal. Plus, after I extended my stay, the staff came to clean the room, which made me feel very secure. They even knock before entering, which is a nice touch. The room itself was large, very clean, and felt quite luxurious. All the facilities made for a very comfortable stay. There's a big desk that's perfect for a laptop and working, and it has a window. The soundproofing is fantastic; you can open it for fresh air and then close it for complete quiet. It's ideal for studying!
