This was a great trip! Families with kids and friends traveling together can confidently choose this hotel. I took two kids by myself during the autumn break and wasn't disappointed. We stayed for 3 nights, and they even upgraded my room. I'll definitely pick this place again next time. Downstairs at breakfast, kids can easily find something to eat, so you can just wake up and head down. We also visited Hongshan Zoo, which was a good fit for us, and getting to the high-speed train station was convenient.

This hotel stay made my trip incredibly comfortable and pleasant!
The service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and proactive during check-in, making the process efficient and quick. They patiently explained how to use the room facilities and offered tips for local attractions. Any questions I had were answered promptly. Check-out was also smooth and efficient, with no delays – the thoughtful service made me feel genuinely cared for.
The facilities were comprehensive and practical. The room was spacious and airy, with all sorts of amenities readily available. The free laundry room was a lifesaver for refreshing clothes during my trip, and the luggage storage service was incredibly convenient. Plus, the free minibar drinks were a lovely touch. All my daily needs were met; every facility seemed perfectly tailored to a traveler's requirements, making them both practical and considerate.
Regarding cleanliness, the bathroom amenities were neatly arranged and spotless, and public areas were regularly cleaned, maintaining a pristine condition throughout my stay. I felt completely at ease and comfortable.
The location was excellent. It's close to all the major attractions, making it super easy and quick to get around by taxi. The surrounding amenities are also very complete, making it convenient for both sightseeing and finding places to eat, without disrupting my itinerary.
From check-in to check-out, my entire experience was fantastic, exceeding my expectations in every way. The value for money is outstanding! I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip!

The most delightful surprise of my Suzhou trip was stumbling upon Anshe Hotel! Tucked away in Jianxin Lane, Gusu District, this hidden gem perfectly balances location, living experience, and value for money, making every trip effortless and pleasant. It's definitely my top choice for any future visits to Suzhou.
The location is simply phenomenal, making getting around incredibly convenient! It's just a 2-minute walk from Exit 5 of Lindun Road subway station, so even with luggage, you won't have to go out of your way. Turn left out of the hotel, and in 3 minutes, you'll find yourself on Pingjiang Road's cobblestone alleys, perfect for catching the morning light before the crowds arrive, or enjoying a bowl of tangzhou (sweet porridge) accompanied by Pingtan storytelling in the evening. Turn right, and a 10-minute walk takes you directly to Guanqian Street, where you can easily find famous eateries like Yaba Shengjian and Lu Changxing noodles. The vibrant night market atmosphere is also right at your fingertips. Getting to Suzhou Museum and the Humble Administrator's Garden is also a breeze, just two subway stops away, eliminating any travel hassle. It truly allows for a ”step out and explore” kind of travel freedom.

The hygiene is average. There is often a smell of smoke in the corridors and elevators, water stains can be seen on the sinks, and the bathroom smells a bit like urine.
The building where the hotel is located is shared by many businesses. There are two hotel front desks on the first floor. I thought I was in the wrong place at first. The building faces the street. I usually don't feel noisy on the 8th floor, but I was woken up by the roar of the garbage truck downstairs at about 4 o'clock in the middle of the night.
The facilities in the room are quite complete, but a bit old.
Breakfast has limited varieties and tastes OK.

The young lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to both the subway station and Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple). There are plenty of shopping options nearby. It's particularly recommended for young fans who enjoy buying 'merch' (collectibles) at Shuiyoucheng mall. Ideal for families with children and elderly members who enjoy exploring at a relaxed pace.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Dayoujing and is easy to find. There's also a small shopping mall downstairs. The hotel occupies floors 42 to 49; the entire building houses various hotels on different floors, which means there's a constant flow of diverse guests. The rooms with a view are decent; being on a high floor, you can get a glimpse of the city lights at night, though there isn't really a 'scenic' view to speak of. Hotel service was average. When I called the front desk for extra water, they informed me there's a hotel policy of only providing four bottles per day, which was not stated on the booking page. However, the room itself was clean and quiet, which was a definite plus.

This trip to Changzhou was full of pleasant surprises! The Yuncheng Yiju Hotel, in particular, far exceeded my expectations!
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the rooms were spacious and bright, and the amenities were modern. The service was incredibly attentive too. Its location was very convenient, not far from any of the attractions, and offered excellent value for money!
The most exciting part was that if you buy a ticket to Changzhou Dinosaur Park right now, you also get a free ticket to the Water Park! One ticket for two amazing parks – what a fantastic deal! The immersive dinosaur-themed attractions and shows at Dinosaur Park made us feel like we'd traveled back to the Jurassic period, and the Water Park was a perfect summer paradise for water fun. Both adults and children had such a blast they didn't want to leave!
On the second evening, we visited the Cultural Plaza. Not only was the architecture stunning and perfect for photos, but we also caught a free outdoor concert! The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Enjoying local delicacies while listening to the music instantly filled me with a sense of pure travel bliss!
I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Changzhou. Everything was well-planned, allowing us to have a blast without any worries. I'll definitely be back!

Right across from Suzhou North Railway Station, it's very noticeable and a great location. The service is thoughtful, and the staff are enthusiastic. The room was clean, tidy, and well soundproofed. The shower had excellent water pressure. Breakfast was also plentiful. Vienna International is always my top choice for business trips and travel.

This hotel is located in the old town of Gusu, right next to the Suzhou Museum, and within walking distance of the subway station. The hotel environment is excellent, a renovated century-old house. You can capture the essence of Jiangnan style without even leaving the premises. They also offer free Hanfu rentals, and the in-room drinks are complimentary. The cleanliness was visibly good, and you can even ask the staff to make you coffee. The service is very nice, always ready to answer any questions. The only downside is that the room rate is a bit higher compared to the guesthouses nearby. Given the ambiance, service, and location, I would definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed at this hotel for four consecutive days during the autumn break, and it was a great experience! The front desk is on the first floor, and the decor is very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were warm and attentive, and the room they arranged for me was perfect. The apartment building has washing machines, which is very convenient for longer stays. The room had wooden floors and was very clean. It was quiet and comfortable. Taxis are available right outside, and the subway station is not far, about a twelve-minute walk. It's also close to many famous attractions – just fantastic!

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!
__WeChat54644****The location is fantastic, right on Pingjiang Road. When you open the curtains, you're greeted by the beautiful view of little bridges, flowing water, and local homes. Despite being on a busy street, it's surprisingly quiet, with good soundproofing. The bed was very comfortable. Right outside the door, there's a small, elegant courtyard.

GGuest UserFloral hotel Nanjing review
Hotel has unique character. Located in a private complex so it is quieter with no public car / scooter allowed to get in.
Kids are happy playing and running outside the complex. Very clean, quiet and charming area.
Location: fantastic location at laomendong old town (3 mins walk to the main old town - all the main actions), 10 mins walk to the city wall.
We arrived at night and it was late (11pm) so it was a bit hard to find the accomm. 3 luggages and 2 kids made it hard-but I imagine using taxi outside the airport would make it easier and more convenience. The taxi will drop you off just outside the complex. It was 2 mins walk to the hotel. The hotel is easily found inside the complex. Check in process is super easy.
To travel around, there are 2 metro stations you can use. We usually use the wumending stations - around 15-25 mins walk depending on the kids mood. However we never have problem commutting. The walk to the station is dotted with shops (food, snacks, convenience stores).
Room: Clean, spacious and modern
A family of four.
We have plenty of space. Amenities are very modern. Plenty of storage space inside the toilet for your toileteries.
Bed is massive (king size) and comfortable.
We booked 2 beds to accommodate our family.
Daily housekeeping and water bottles replacement.
Communication:
The owner will add you on wechat on check in day. All communication can be done via wechat. The translation app in wechat is a god sent. The staff has minimal english - but we dont have any problem communicating through wechat conversation. You can ask them for information etc through wechat. They will reply straight away.
Services:
Impeccable, above and beyond.
The owner and all of the staffs are super helpful. Always keen to help. The owner took and showed us the restaurants around laomendong which are worth going - as there are plenty of restaurants around the areas.
Because it is a boutique hotel, the service is very personalised.
Breakfast:
Set meal for breakfast every morning. Serve at 8am. It is not buffee with hundreds of selections but they give you healthy and nourishing breakfast. We stay there for 4 days and everyday is different menu. We absolutely enjoy our breakfast.
Bits and pieces:
There is a friendly and well behaved corgi dog inside the residence. My kids are generally scared of dog but they could not help themselves petting and playing with the dog.
They missed the dog when we left Nanjing.
I ve seen other hotels in major areas when we walked around. But the street is very busy and wont suit us. Also hotels in cbd areas - no character surrounding the cbd. It would be perfect for business people but I think this hotel is very suited for leisure and family.
The hotel provide laundry service too. You just need to drop it off to front desk. They will wash, dry and fold them for you!!!
My daughter vomitted on our second night. The sheets would be stained from the vomit but they did not charge us for the damage.
The hotel can order you taxi if you dont have didi apps for taxi. My didi apps did not work as i did not set it up properly back home. You dont even need to pay the taxi driver either-they will sort it out and the hotel will charge you later.
The price might be a bit higher than the surrounding hotels, however its definately worth every penny.
In conclusion:
Your accommodation choice can really impact your trip. Floral hotel has been amazing and I believe this hotel was an excellent choice for family / leisure trip. We really enjoy our Nanjing trip because of Floral Hotel. Thank you Floral hotel for everything and we will definately stay at your hotel again next time we come to visit Nanjing.
11595191****Located in the Science and Technology City of Suzhou High-tech Zone, the surrounding area integrates the elements of ”technology, landscape, and humanities” and is close to an artificial lake. The environment is quiet and suitable for vacation.
The hotel is close to Taihu Avenue and has convenient transportation, but the business atmosphere in the Science and Technology City area is relatively quiet, and you need to travel a short distance to nearby commercial entities.
With environmental protection, natural landscape and family-friendly facilities as its core advantages, Element Suzhou is suitable for tourists seeking a quiet vacation or a short business trip. Its kitchen configuration and parent-child services are particularly outstanding, but improvements need to be made in terms of spraying less air freshener and surrounding convenience.
HHeimi_123Our stay here was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the accommodation was very comfortable. My child loves baths, which was why we chose this place; the disposable plastic liners provided for the tub made us feel very safe and at ease. In the evenings, the owner even set out watermelon and other fruits in the lobby for everyone to enjoy freely. We'd sip tea, chat, and it was incredibly relaxing! Inside, there's a large alligator snapping turtle and three smaller turtles. My child absolutely loved repeatedly feeding watermelon to the alligator snapping turtle. When it was time to leave, my child didn't want to go! It was a truly wonderful trip, and I've attached some photos for reference.
11381215****The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, so you don't have to worry about transportation. There are plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby, situated in a bustling area, yet it feels quiet and peaceful inside. The surrounding amenities are comprehensive, with shopping malls and restaurants galore. The geographical location is definitely a major highlight of this hotel.
AAnonymous UserThis time, I chose the Mercure Nanjing Xinjiekou, and I'm completely won over by its blend of convenience and quality! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Xinjiekou, a 3-minute walk to the subway station. The area is packed with malls and old-school eateries, making it ideal for both shopping and dining.
The room design shows thoughtful touches, with warm lighting and minimalist furniture. As someone with lumbar and cervical spine issues, I found the mattress incredibly supportive, and the pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm! Paired with the blackout curtains, I could get a peaceful night's sleep even in a bustling commercial area. The cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding and bathroom were spotless, and the toiletries were high-quality, exceeding my expectations.
The service was an added bonus. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they even proactively recommended local hidden gems and must-try foods to avoid tourist traps. Requests were handled promptly; extra pillows and a power strip were delivered quickly, and even the cleaning staff greeted me politely.
Highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe stayed at Atour for 3 nights, and while the bed and pillows were very comfortable—which we absolutely loved—the overall experience was unfortunately below expectations, especially compared to other Atour hotels we’ve stayed at.
The hotel is located in a very popular tourist area, which means there are crowds everywhere. I believe this also contributed to the staff looking visibly exhausted. We arrived at the official check-in time, but our room wasn’t ready because the previous guest had a late checkout benefit from their membership. To make up for it, the hotel upgraded us to a higher-tier room for the first night. However, we had to switch back to our originally booked room the next day, which was inconvenient and troublesome.
Both rooms were located in the annexe building across the street from the main hotel. The upgraded room was only one floor above the original one, with minimal difference other than being slightly bigger. We specifically booked a room with a river view, but to our surprise, tourists standing on the nearby bridge could look directly into our room — we verified this by checking the view from the bridge ourselves.
What disappointed us the most was the cleanliness. Our first room was very dusty, with sand and dirt on the floor, and the toilet walls had visible stains. Since we were staying just one night and were exhausted from traveling, we didn’t raise the issue. However, when speaking to the front desk about switching rooms the next day, I clearly requested that the next room be cleaned properly. Unfortunately, the second room was of similar condition, if not worse. The pillowcases were stained with black and yellow marks, and we had to request new ones late at night after returning from a long day out.
What makes this more surprising is that Atour is known for its great service, including the free laundry service where staff wash and return your clothes the next morning. This branch did not provide that service at all. Breakfast was also subpar and not worth topping up for.
Overall, this was the least enjoyable Atour experience we’ve had. The comfortable bed and pillows were the only highlights. We hope the hotel improves its cleanliness and service consistency to match the standards of other Atour locations.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is quite large, and it's a bit of a winding drive even if you take a taxi, haha. Check-in was very smooth. Only two bottles of mineral water in the room are complimentary; everything else is chargeable. I'd recommend grabbing two free bottles from the lobby before heading up to your room!
The elevators require key card access, which adds to security, but there are no room service robots, so if you order takeout, you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself! However, there are plenty of elevators, making it easy to go up and down. It's also quite soundproof, and the bedding is very comfortable.
A 500 deposit is required at check-in, which is fully refunded if there are no extra charges after check-out. If you need a late check-out, it's 30 per hour, which is pretty reasonable. Overall, it's a decent stay.
