I'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!

We recently stayed at Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many aspects, and I would like to commend the team for providing such a comfortable and welcoming stay. One of the biggest highlights was the thoughtful range of complimentary amenities. Having free washing machines and dryers was incredibly convenient, especially for travellers on longer trips. The onsen was clean, relaxing and well maintained, and we appreciated the complimentary green tea, roasted green tea, lemon water and drinking water available outside the onsen, which made the experience even more refreshing. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we had questions, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our room was spacious, quiet and very well equipped. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare simple meals. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel had already prepared a proper bed for the third person in our group before our arrival. The refrigerator included a freezer compartment, which was particularly useful for storing ice cream and frozen food that we purchased during our trip. We also appreciated that complimentary coffee and tea were available throughout our stay. One of the most memorable experiences was the daily complimentary wine tasting during happy hour. As an added bonus, the hotel also provided us with a voucher to redeem a complimentary bottle of wine at Furano Winery, which was a wonderful gesture and a unique way to showcase the local winery. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I hope the hotel will consider a few areas for improvement. The hotel's location is slightly away from central Furano, so having a car is highly recommended. This was not a major issue for us, but guests relying on public transport may find it less convenient. The parking arrangement could also be improved. The car park is located about a three-minute walk uphill from the hotel. While the distance itself is manageable, the walking path consists of loose stones without a proper pavement. At night, the area is very dark, and during rainy weather, it can become slippery and potentially hazardous, particularly for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. Additional lighting and a paved walkway would greatly improve both safety and accessibility. Lastly, although breakfast was enjoyable, we found the selection somewhat limited compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Furano. For example, during our previous stay at La Vista Furano, the breakfast offered a wider variety of Japanese specialties, including fresh sashimi and Furano melon, as well as complimentary late-night soba, which created a more memorable dining experience. At Furano Winery Hitohana, the breakfast leaned more towards Western offerings. Expanding the selection of local Japanese dishes and regional specialties would further enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these suggestions, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious and comfortable accommodation in Furano. The generous complimentary amenities, excellent service and thoughtful hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit such an enjoyable one.

房間超大，有室內浸浴，景觀一流，設施齊備，若住Executive Suit,可以免費享用lounge 內小食和飲品，酒也是無限飲用。自助餐食物美味，款式多。娛樂設施有驚喜，有乒乓球打，有夾公仔機，可以打機，是迷利版的Gigo。商店購物種類多，有好小朋友玩具賣。露天風呂看到雪山景，體驗到一邊浸温泉，一邊大風雪吹在面上。就算不是露天，室內的風呂也有好美的雪山景觀看。有穿梭巴士送到札幌，非常好。雖然房價不便宜，但物有所值。

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and nice, and they were even kind enough to offer me a late check-out at 1:00 PM, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, the public bath was a great feature, and the self-service luggage storage was very convenient. the hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro, it is near a bus stop for the airport limousine. The breakfast variety was a bit more limited compared to other hotels I have visited. Overall, the hospitality made for a wonderful experience.

I absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world. The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

For us it is the second time in this wonderful hotel and every time it is like living a dream: it feels like being in a bubble thanks to all the well-being in which you are immersed. You are pampered by every service present and by the kindness of the staff, which makes you feel at home. The food is simply divine and you would just like to have a more spacious stomach so you could taste more and more. Nature is unsurpassed, every day you find yourself meeting spectacular creatures even just going out a short distance away. You will not find a similar place in all of Japan, where man meets nature in a perfect combination of balance, harmony and deep respect. This hotel is absolutely amazing! The service was incredible, and I had such a fantastic and enjoyable stay. The outdoor private onsen in the room was unbeatable – the hot spring water was so clean and hygienic. They even provided a great hair essential oil. Highly recommend, it's definitely worth a visit!

Very recommended ! hotel room is big enough. there is a small sofa. felt very good. Oven and washing machine is IN THE ROOM. no need coins for laundry ! big window, nice for photo shoot, can open a slide, as shown in photo with milk. (yeah, i use it to make my drinks cold. ) Multiple plug available, good for moderns day and tourist m cause many of us carry powerbank and phone to charge. need multiple charging plugs. Smart toilet as i remember. Hot drinking water available just in front of elevator, at the corridor. (public area) Hotel Location is quite far from town area, BUT, drug store and 7-11 is just in front it, as shown in photo. Pachingko , police station, all around. Nearby is housing area. very quiet place. There is a bus stop , opposite the 7-11. Thus u can still easy get to town. Just the schedule of bus is not so accurate during my time, due to heavy snow. Have some car park available if u rent a car. ( forgot if its charge... but i remember its free. u can check again). Photo of plain snow and car ( not the photo of drug store and 7-11 sign. This was my second time visiting Jigokudani, and I chose this hotel because the dinner reviews looked good. The room was quite spacious, and the smell of sulfur was pervasive, which I actually liked! The baths were excellent, all sulfur springs, and it was great that they provided towels. You can also use the baths at the neighboring hotel, Ayatei. Dinner was indeed good, with ingredients and cooking methods both above average. Breakfast was also decent; in addition to Japanese breakfast, there was a Western selection, which offered more flexibility. It's very close to the onsen town, so it's convenient for exploring Jigokudani or visiting convenience stores. I experienced an earthquake right before check-out!

I stayed for three nights in a king-size bed room, room 422. On the morning of July 21, 2026, I saw a maid tidying up the room next door, so I told her I was on a multi-night stay and didn't need my room cleaned, just a bottle of water. Then I changed my mind and asked for the water for the third day as well. She responded rather rudely, curtly refusing me with 'no,' stating that only one bottle was given per day. She didn't use polite language and had a completely different demeanor from the other hotel staff. The maid on the second day, however, was very polite. She proactively asked if I needed a bottle of water. I said no, but she thoughtfully left bathrobes, towels, and water outside my room door later. Although I didn't use them, her service felt warm and considerate.
