4-Star Hotels in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

Stayed at Pegasus Hotel Shah Alam recently as im having seminar at IDCC. The location is convenient with easy access to nearby shops. The room was comfortable and clean, though the design feels slightly dated. Basic amenities were provided and worked well. Staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, a decent and very affordable option for a short stay in Shah Alam.

Our family really enjoyed our stay, especially the two children, who absolutely loved the water park. We are also grateful for the warm welcome from the reception staff. The hotel room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was satisfactory. However, I would like to share some feedback regarding a few areas that could be improved. Dinner at the Restaurant The dinner service was quite slow, and unfortunately, we found the food and drinks disappointing. In our opinion, the quality did not meet the standard we would expect from a 4-star hotel. We are sorry to say that we felt the food and drinks were even below the standard of some local mamak restaurants. Considering the quality and our overall dining experience, we also found the prices rather expensive. Unfortunately, the hotel is quite far from town. As the restaurant was recommended by our tour guide, we decided to have dinner at the hotel instead of travelling elsewhere. However, the experience was quite disappointing, and we hope the hotel can improve the food quality and service in the future. Water Park Customer Service Another concern was our experience with the customer service staff at the water park. We had a total of six guests staying in the room, and five of us went to the pool. When we requested five towels, the staff refused and informed us that each room was only entitled to four towels, rather than providing towels based on the number of guests. We were quite surprised by this arrangement. We were not requesting extra towels unnecessarily; we simply hoped to have one towel per person so that everyone could dry themselves properly after swimming. It would be helpful if the hotel could reconsider this policy, as guests should not be expected to return to their rooms soaking wet. Unfortunately, the staff member's attitude also made the situation less pleasant, as she appeared impatient and unhelpful when we asked for clarification about the policy. Apart from this particular experience, the other hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, our family enjoyed the stay, and we hope the hotel will take this feedback constructively and use it to improve the dining experience and customer service in the future.

The room was clean and comfortable, close to the beach. The pool was open until 10 PM, which was great! 👍 If possible, it would be good to also provide dish soap.

This is the best resort for families with small kids. My kids really enjoy the kids pool and the easy access to beach. The parents can chill at the pool lounge listening to the beat song, its not too loud for kids and really uplifting the mood. Must visit again next time.

Perhaps due to the sea in Port Dickson not being as blue or clear as it once was, there weren't many guests, so the hotel proactively upgraded us to a better-located overwater villa. The quiet and comfortable environment provided us with a rare moment of relaxation. The room had a strong design aesthetic and good furnishings, though the facilities were a bit dated, which speaks to the high quality of the original renovation. There are pavilions along the walkway, perfect for watching the sunset.

We stayed in this hotel many times. It is in a good location and beautiful looking. However, during this visit we first checked into the Executive Room and it was not satisfactory. There was a smell in the room and aircon wasn't working well. Air con was dirty and lacking gas air, the maintenance had to clean and pump gas. Shower was rain shower type, we were not comfortable to use that. Design of the room was old fashioned too. Staff of the hotel were very friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us shift to Superior Room where we had stayed before. It was much better. We can see that some of the furniture especially the chairs and sofa was a bit worn out. The liquid bath soap in the bathroom had finished, and I had to use my own liquid. We strongly feel that hotel should ensure regular and proper maintenance, and if possible invest in some newer furniture. Overall we were happy with the environment, the staff, car park facilities and had good fun at the Sailor's Drink Shop.

Room is very clean. Due to its in the forest , flies and mosquitos love to visit the place too, insect repellent is a must prepare ahead. The resort were well maintain even thought its about 30 years old. Bravo to the owner. I love the plants decoration around the compound, the ratio just nice . This is the first resort without a restaurant , but grab is available only up to 5 pm of the day before the stuff went off. Is a low season ,one month before Hari Raya , so I had the whole resort by myself 😬.the kitchen have full equipment to cook and it’s all very clean .we bought our own food to bbq. Charcoal and starter can be purchased when we reach. The rooms are in individual houses , so even it’s crowded won’t be too noisy. it’s a great place for family bonding or couples .they have 2 seperate sharing infinity pools which is consider clean.

Our stay at Raia Beach Resort was absolutely amazing! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and the beach is just a short walk away. The kids had a fantastic time in the pool. All the staff were friendly, and the check-in process was a breeze. The breakfast was delicious, though a bit more variety would be great. It's truly perfect for a family getaway and offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended! 🌊🏖️

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The hotel has good Wi-Fi, even outside when sitting at the pool. The pool is clean, safe and spacious. The rooms are neat, with fresh water and towels provided every day. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There is also a laundry service just across the street. The staff were all very kind and polite. On the downside, most things close quite early, and it can be a little difficult to walk to restaurants along the road, although the restaurants themselves are good. The bed was slightly too firm for me, and the air conditioning was a bit loud, but there was also a fan on the ceiling. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay with friendly staff.

Pros Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom are spacious and clean. Like the fact the toilet and shower are well separated by the bath tub, keeps the toilet very dry. Aircon and shower are strong and powerful. Cons Lack of power points in room, very inconvenient to charge phone near bed. Sink was choked. There was no face or hand towel, very inconvenient. Room lighting is too dim once curtains are drawn. Breakfast is horrible, same items every day. BF starts at 0630 but even at 0645, egg station is not manned, some other food items are not even ready. Mere empty pots with labels. Porridge was extremely cold on second day, had to inform staff before a lukewarm pot was substituted. Even that, the lukewarm porridge was almost inedible. Fried kway teow was too spicy. I can normally take spicy but what i had that day was beyond a normal person's tolerance level. Fried rice was cold and hard, like as it is had been left overnight.
