Beach Hotels in Dalian

I booked late, so I could only get a Quiet Room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The front desk service was also good. This hotel has been open for many years. There are private rooms upstairs and a buffet downstairs. It's very close to the beach, and the Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area is right next to it. Overall, it was a great experience.

The B&B manager was very attentive, calling me before my arrival to confirm my check-in time and whether I needed a travel photoshoot service. After checking in, they sent daily WeChat messages about breakfast times and if I needed housekeeping for an extended stay. If you're driving, there's convenient parking available, and you can pay for parking once per day. I booked the terrace sea-view loft room. The modern minimalist decor was very comfortable, and I could see Fisherman's Wharf directly from the terrace. The B&B also has a viewing platform on the third-floor terrace, offering a superb environment. If the weather is good, it's perfect for photos. The B&B offers a complimentary travel photoshoot service, including 5 free retouched photos. Both the photographer and the retoucher are highly skilled – I highly recommend it! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dalian.

The hotel's exterior is magnificent, like a castle. I booked a sea view room, and the ocean view from the window was beautiful. Even though it's by the sea, the room was surprisingly dry; my swimsuit dried completely within a day. I was a bit anxious after reading reviews about long queues for breakfast, but when I got there, I found that before 8 AM, there's usually no queue. Plus, staff members directly seat you and place a reserved sign, which is a nice touch. In some hotels, even if there's no queue when it's busy, not finding a seat and having to wander around with your plate is even more awkward. Now for the good parts, there are two downsides I hope the hotel can improve. First, the hotel's Chinese restaurant is really expensive, and there's a service charge, but the taste and service were truly underwhelming. I had originally planned to just eat at the hotel every day, but after one meal, I realized it didn't even meet expectations for taste or value for money – it failed on all three counts. Secondly, for a hotel at this price point, charging for a can of Coke and a bottle of juice in the mini-fridge seems unnecessary. Many five-star hotels even offer a full selection of expensive drinks for free, along with complimentary fruit and snacks, but here they charge extra, which comes across as a bit petty.

Stayed here for the Nth time. The room and courtyard are as tidy as ever, and the front desk is bustling with vibrant flowers. Traveling during off-peak season, the price is fantastic! 🌺

A beautiful apartment with a view of the fishing port. The terrace, sunny all day, is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and relaxing. The apartment is very stylish, a blend of industrial and romantic elements. Everything is very well-equipped, and the location is peaceful. The service is excellent, with a very professional approach to our requests. The resident dog is a real bonus. Very friendly, he's the hotel's mascot. The included breakfast was delicious and prepared entirely to order. The surrounding area is fantastic, with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fresh seafood and fish right at the port, barbecue-style. An excellent restaurant completes the experience, just two minutes from the hotel.

This is my third time staying at Fraser Suites Dalian, and each time before I've stayed for a week. This time, I was upgraded to an executive room, and it was just as comfortable as ever. The service attitude is excellent; every visit feels like coming home. It's truly one of the reasons I keep coming back to Dalian. The hotel elevator's air freshener or perfume smells wonderful. If possible, could you please tell me the brand? I'd love to get the same one. I really love this hotel. The facilities are complete, and there's even a swimming pool for some water fun. Oh, and the view is great! 👍 My friends who came with me this time were also very satisfied.

Honestly, the rooms themselves were really great. Both rooms had windows directly facing the sea, and each was beautifully decorated. The living room even had a ball pit and a climbing/jumping area for kids, which our child loved. There was also a circular nook where you could sit and watch projections. However, one of the rooms started to smell really bad in the early hours of the morning, like a foul odor. Opening the window didn't help at all. Regrettably, the whole guesthouse had a dilapidated feel to it. Right from the moment we got out of the car, we noticed the exterior was a bit grubby, and the front desk/lobby felt rather cheap. When we went to check out the beach from the lobby, we found the stairs and terrace looked like they hadn't been maintained in years. The terrace was very basic, with many cigarette butts overflowing in the ashtrays and not cleaned. The spiral staircase I'd seen in photos online for Instagram was also broken and dirty. The beach itself was rocky, a bit smelly, and had some trash. There was also a layer of scum on the sea, like the kind you see when blanching ribs. There were some past campers still around, but honestly, I don't understand how anyone would have the courage to go in the water. In summary, the room design and the sea view from the windows were genuinely good, but there was almost no external amenities or upkeep. It felt neglected and unmaintained, which is a real shame.

Linda at check-out provided excellent service, and Maggie, our butler, was also very dedicated throughout our stay. She'd check in daily about our experience and needs, promptly resolving any issues. The room had great views, and the overall environment was comfortable and clean.

The hotel's internal environment is excellent, with a large lawn and pleasant forest walks. The indoor swimming pool is fantastic! The front desk staff, customer service, and restaurant service were all great. It's also a short taxi ride to all the tourist attractions. The beautiful environment makes it perfect for travelers who enjoy peace and comfort.

Front desk staff Camila Shirley provided attentive and thoughtful service, making for a very pleasant stay. Service was prompt, and any issues raised were quickly resolved. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a sea-view room, and the pictures are all genuine photos of the room. The beach is just a stone's throw away. I spent an afternoon working in the executive lounge, which is shared with the Conrad, and the price was incredibly reasonable! Highly recommended.
