The hotel is located in Bijingbao Street of Pingyao ancient city courtyard, which is well preserved. The hotel is a historical building of the Qing Dynasty, a typical Pingyao Ming and Qing quadrangle courtyard with three courtyards and a beautiful-shaped courtyard. The components of the siheyuan include, in addition to the house door, there are inverted seats, courtyards, wings, middle doors, halls, and main rooms. The main house of the courtyard is spacious and high, and all the roofs from the houses are clean water tile ridge square and flat. The outer wall of the courtyard is solid and closed with deep and strict access control, but inside is your private courtyard. The inner courtyard is deep, quiet, and has a high roof ridge, looking at the balanced Yu, beautifully carved, and high lanterns hanging, preserving the original appearance of the Qing building. The hotel has a unique design with various room types: suite, loft, family, and various styles. The rooms are equipped with smart toilets, advanced audio-visual equipment, intelligent home, single-room exclusive internet, and multimedia bathtubs. The decoration style is warm and pleasant, with humanized space planning and design, providing a warm, comfortable, and intelligent home experience. It also has a unique large-screen restaurant that offers you exquisite dishes with Pingyao characteristics, and here you can also fully appreciate the hotel butler service concept.
"Great location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating. The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao."
