"The hotel staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. When you choose to cleaning service during your stay, you bed linens are actually get changed! 3-min from hotel room to Line 2 Metro door, highly recommended if anyone who is looking for convenient public transportation."
"This hotel is a solid base for Shanghai exploration. Highlights: - This hotel has great design elements and is helpfully located really close to Beixinjing station on line 2 - fantastic for getting around to see the city easily. - The hotel offers a complementary 1 day tour of Shanghai. This is well hosted and is a delightful way to be introduced to many of the amazing sights that Shanghai has to offer. - The front desk staff are professional and helpful. A special mention here goes to Kevin who was among the most helpful and warm front desk staff encountered. - The hotel is generous in providing all the expected amenities of a hotel stay: unlimited bottled water, tissues, clean towels etc. The rooms are well kept by friendly housecleaning staff. - Airport transfers are provided and are great. Areas for improvement: - The complementary dinner buffet could be improved through labelling of dishes and greater variety. We visited a number of times and the mains remained the same, though the desserts did change. - The attitude of the dinner service staff was not great. As guests, we felt heavily watched on some of the nights we chose to dine at the buffet. This behaviour left us feeling unwelcome and lets down the atmosphere created by their colleagues elsewhere in the hotel. We did note a difference during a dinner visit later in our stay, so it seems the behaviour may have been noted and addressed. - The AC unfortunately only blew out hot air and the smell of cigarette smoke would sometimes come through during its use. We ultimately opted to open the windows, but this could be an issue during warmer weather. - There was no safe in our room. - The toilet flush is very limited, and it was unclear if the expectation is that tissue paper is thrown into bins. Better signage would help with this. - We noted on one day that housekeeping had been into the room despite the do not disturb sign being present on the door. Overall, the hotel is good value for money. Some small changes and greater attention to some details would help with its 5 star experience."
"This magnificent hotel has a great location for everyone wanting to travel near Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and also near the vibrant city center. The hotel is located on the green line, which is the direct route to Nanjing East, near the charming walking street leading to the river, offering a spectacular view of the Bund. The room is clean, and the location is just a few convenient steps walk from the metro. The lady at the reception is wonderfully kind and helpful. The hotel also graciously provides refreshing coffee and tea for free."
"Everyone on the reception very helpful, professional and kind. Specially a staff named 小贺, she gave very good service. Hotel very clean. I definitely will come again and recommend to everyone . 5star. Hotel offers free laundry service Super convinient Well positioned hotel near the railway station Very helpful"
"A very good stay! The hotel is located between Beixinjing and Weining Road subway stations. The hotel is very new, and the receptionist even upgraded our room for free. The only downside is that there aren't many restaurants nearby. However, for the price in the city center, it's very good value for money. I wish the hotel continued success."
"I've been looking forward to visiting Citadines so far. The first impression is pretty good, so I'm going to stay in other areas. (I also visited HeMa mini in the next building for the first time.) There are many cute sculptures outside. The night view from the bedroom gave me a special experience."

NNush16Very clean facilities and great service from the staff. Highly recommended. My daughter loved the Elsa room
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the view — whether from the room or the rooftop, it was truly impressive. I also appreciated the amenities: a well-equipped gym, a relaxing pool area, and a delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. The location was ideal, close to restaurants, shops, and public transport, which made getting around very convenient. I also liked how quiet the rooms were despite being in a busy area. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located near Nanjing pedestrian road, only5-10 mins walk from Mosaic department store. The family room is really big and suitable for big Family of 4-6 people😊 There are lots of plugs in the room. The room is well equipped with all necessary things. The only one point I want to improve is to change some breakfast menu. (I stayed here 3 days , same menu everyday😂) The flushing water in the toilet is not that strong, but it is nice automated toilet! The staffs are very polite and friendly. My family love this hotel so much😍
GGuest UserI’ve been visiting The Peninsula for a decade, and it’s a magnificent hotel. The location is brilliant, the indoor pool is one of the best in the world, the spa team is phenomenal. Yet on this recent visit, the service, while quite good, wasn’t the sort of impeccable, seamless joy one hopes for: the early staffing for breakfast was limited, without a dedicated host to welcome and seat guests; I realize it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, but a twenty minute wait just to be able to order room service is a bit much; over half of the deserts on the menu were unavailable. The room is wonderfully comfortable as always, fantastic housekeeping and amenities—I do hope they can get back to the very high bar they’ve set for themselves across all of their hotels. Plus truly stunning views if you’re in a river view room.
GGuest UserI would like to sincerely commend Jude from the concierge team at Waldorf Astoria for his exceptional service. Despite it being 12am, Jude was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting me with a parcel that was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. His willingness to help at such a late hour, coupled with his calm and professional attitude, truly reflects the high standards of service associated with Waldorf Astoria. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Jude — his dedication did not go unnoticed and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. The other team members in the concierge department also did a helpful job with our baggage. It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my Meituan food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!
GGuest UserThe place is acceptable, the price is reasonable, the service is acceptable, and the room is acceptable considering the price. Overall, this hotel is acceptable.
