"We had a really lovely stay here in Hangzhou. The place is beautiful with a peaceful view overlooking the tea plantations. From our room we had a very nice view, and it was so relaxing just sitting there and enjoying the scenery. It’s a little far from West Lake so you may need to take a Didi, but it’s very close to Longjing Village. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, almost like friends. They were always offering to help us with anything. Because there is a long staircase to reach the stay, they even helped us carry our luggage. They even asked if we wanted supper and said they could cook for us, which was really sweet and cute. Their kindness and care made our stay feel very warm and comfortable. Thank you for making our stay in Hangzhou such a pleasant and memorable one."

"I chose this hotel because I was in Hangzhou for a dog-related event with my little one. It's incredibly pet-friendly; there were so many dogs playing in the hotel garden. The lobby is clean and tidy, and the rooms are very spacious with excellent amenities. Falling asleep to the record player while watching a movie projected onto the screen was simply wonderful. The room even has a back door that leads directly to the courtyard, which is super convenient. Sitting in the courtyard in the afternoon, soaking up the sun, was just heavenly! The breakfast had a great variety, satisfying all our cravings. Highly recommend this place!"

"This B&B is located in a quiet village on a small hill, offering peaceful nights. The 87 bus stop is right outside (make sure to get off at Shang Manjuelong Station, not Shuiledong Station as Google Maps might suggest, otherwise you'll face stairs). The facilities are great; the underfloor heating was still quite effective even in late March. The service was warm and friendly. The only downside is that dinner service ends a bit too early."

"This guesthouse's location is absolutely amazing, right by the Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. You step out and are immediately surrounded by lush greenery. The environment is serene and elegant, and the courtyard full of flowers and plants is incredibly relaxing. The room facilities are also excellent; you can tell the bedding and toiletries were chosen with care. The best part is the service – the owner and staff are so warm and attentive, truly making you feel at home. In the afternoon, sipping tea in the courtyard and feeding the fish, watching the koi scramble for food, all your worries just melt away. If you're looking to escape the city hustle and bustle for a couple of days on the weekend, this place is perfect. Highly recommend!"

"The location is excellent, very close to the north gate of Xixi Wetland, just a 5-minute walk. They even include tickets and boat passes, which was a pleasant surprise! The service was top-notch. Upon check-in, they provided a fruit platter with cherry tomatoes, oranges, and bananas. In the evening, they delivered desserts and a late-night snack in a thermos. When I checked in, I wasn't quite comfortable with the bed's orientation in my room. The hotel manager (a gentleman, I forgot to ask his name) patiently showed me three other rooms, and I eventually found one I loved, and he even upgraded my room type. He was incredibly patient throughout the whole process. I've stayed within Xixi Wetland itself on previous visits, but this time I tried Lu Jing across the road, and it was fantastic. It's close to both the paid and free entrances of the scenic area, offering exceptional value for money. Highly recommended!"

"It was my first time at Shili Fangfei Hotel, and I stayed in a parent-child room. We took a boat to get in and out, and the kids loved it. Let me first talk about the room (two small gardens in front and back). It has two beds, a tea area, a shower area, a bathtub (the hotel provides disposable membranes), and a dry and wet separation in the toilet (the hair dryer, hot towel rack, and toiletries are all good). The mini bar and mineral water supply are not stingy. The housekeeper was also very considerate. Whatever you needed during your stay was delivered quickly. The lunch snacks tasted very good, and the housekeeper took a boat to help pick up the takeout we ordered twice. The hotel environment is very good. It should be said that the hotel itself is in a scenic area, and the entertainment area is larger than that of ordinary hotels. The children are very interested in walking around, and the intricate paths are like an adventure. There are many mosquitoes on the road in summer (there are floral water and herbal creams in taverns, etc.), but the breakfast tastes very good and is worth a try."

"We were so disappointed! 👎 Having stayed at over twenty 5-star hotels in the past two years, this was by far the worst. 1. 💡 The facilities are incredibly old and often broken. For example, the vanity mirror was shattered, and the desk lamp flickered on and off. 2. 🛀 You have to wait at least a minute for hot water when showering, which is a very long time, wastes water, and is especially bad given how cold it is in winter. 3. 🛜 The Wi-Fi is terrible; videos constantly buffer. 4. 🏠 The bathroom floor has obvious, old stains that are absolutely disgusting 🤢. 5. 🍳 Breakfast was bad. The fried dough sticks (youtiao) were pre-made, the baozi had thick skins and little filling, the 'thumb-sized' pan-fried buns were greasy with hardly any meat, and the 'freshly squeezed' soy milk was clearly made from powder. The beef noodles and egg pancakes were okay, though. 6. For the DIY craft experience, there was only enough for one person per room, which was incredibly awkward for a couple. What's even more puzzling is that the cheapest room costs 2500 RMB?? 👍 On the positive side, the staff were enthusiastic, there was a golf cart shuttle service, and they helped with luggage. The public areas were beautiful, and the intangible cultural heritage aspects were interesting."

"After eight years, I returned to stay at Xizhongxi. I've been thinking about this hotel for a while now, and I'm bringing my parents back in the fall. The hotel experience was fantastic, with an elegant environment. Our housekeeper, Chang'an, was attentive and helpful. The breakfast served in the room was hearty and delicious, with a wide variety of options. The location is fantastic, with a stream just outside your door, giving you the feeling of living in the woods. I highly recommend this hotel."
