Hangting Hotel Hotels in Shanghai

Traveling to Shanghai with my elderly parents, convenient transportation was our top priority. This hotel is perfectly situated directly opposite a subway entrance with access to lines 8 and 14, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. The hotel facilities are new, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom even has a retractable clothesline, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also quite plentiful with a good variety of options, and we were very satisfied. Five stars!

Pretty good, but the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear conversations from other rooms. It's not too far and not too close to the subway, and ordering takeout is convenient as a robot delivers it. I've stayed here for two consecutive years when seeing Mayday; it's just one subway stop from the stadium, which is super convenient. Coming back from Shanghai Stadium is also a direct ride with no transfers needed.

The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The front desk was efficient and always greeted guests with a smile. Our room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet and restful night's sleep. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, both Western and Chinese, and the location was very convenient.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room is comfortable with good natural light, and the bedding is soft, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the location is excellent, making travel convenient. Overall, my stay was exceptionally satisfying.

Initially, I mistakenly went to the Hanting on Nanjing East Road. Everyone, please be careful not to make the same mistake – one is in the east, the other in the west. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the middle of the pedestrian street, and you can walk to People's Square. The TV in the room requires VIP access to watch programs, but thankfully, you can cast to it; otherwise, the TV would be pretty useless for tourists like us. The room design is exactly like the photos, very comfortable. Especially the bathroom, I'm very satisfied with it! Highly recommend!

Very happy with the excellent condition of the hotel and the room, cleanliness, location close to 虹桥国际机场, quietness and the wonderful bird song from dawn (5am) outside my window. Check-in went well with two very courteous and very helpful, male receptionists. However, I felt disappointed by two female receptionists, who I believe could have behaved more professionally when I received a package by courier from 景德镇 and who both laughed at me in my face and joked to each other, because my intermediate level 普通话 wasn't up to immediately understanding the courier's request for the delivery fee. How is that funny to receptionists in a hotel within a 5km radius of Shanghai International airport, and whose English didn't appear to assist me in any way, even via an app. The daily cleaning and refresh was satisfactory. I also liked that this hotel is strict about not smoking in hotel rooms but my bed still smelt of cigarette smoke somewhat.

Conveniently located near a subway entrance, the hotel is on the 3rd floor. There's a Global Harbor shopping complex nearby with plenty of great food options. You can easily reach the city center and Shanghai Railway Station by subway with a transfer. Overall, I'm satisfied. I was able to get a room as early as 8 AM, which was great, especially with the hot weather, as I could change right away and head out without feeling burdened.

This stay completely exceeded my expectations, definitely a five-star recommendation! The apartment itself is decorated in a simple yet cozy style, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The room is spacious, not at all cramped. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and after a hot shower, snuggling into bed to relax after a long day is incredibly therapeutic.

The Hanting Hotel Shanghai Railway Station South Square Branch mainly boasts a prime transportation advantage. It's just a two to three-minute walk from Metro Exit 3 and only five minutes to the South Square of the railway station, making it incredibly convenient for catching trains or transferring metro lines. It's definitely a top choice for business trips and short-term travel. The hotel is located on the third floor of the Post and Telecommunications Building. The front desk efficiently handles check-ins and is staffed 24/7. They also offer free luggage storage. The windows provide good sound insulation; you can barely hear traffic noise from the road once they're closed. The hot water pressure is strong, the air conditioning is quiet, and the WiFi speed is stable.
