Hotels in Jinshan Fengjing Ancient Town Area, Shanghai

This hotel is truly a dream room for toddlers! My two-and-a-half-year-old told me he was so happy on check-in day. He slept on the bottom bunk of the fire truck bed. He was so excited that he didn't even cry when he bumped his head on the wooden board above. I later brought him a dry hair cap to cushion it. I suggest the hotel add soft padding to the top bunk of the bunk beds. The next day, the hotel breakfast was also much better than the Disney hotel. Most importantly, three adults and one child checked in together, and we weren't asked to pay extra for breakfast or anything. My son was tired from playing in the park and told me he wanted to go back to the hotel to rest. I told him, 'Sorry, sweetie, we've already checked out.' The hotel's soundproofing is average, but the air purifier worked wonders. Even with my chronic rhinitis, I didn't smell anything unpleasant. My son slept very well at night!

Traveling with elderly parents and children, we booked two rooms and the hotel arranged them close to each other, which was very considerate. The hotel also has a garden and a lake, and Fengjing Ancient Town is perfect for a leisurely stroll for seniors. DoDo, who assisted us with check-in, was very helpful. The breakfast selection was also rich and varied.

This guesthouse, though named a 'hotel,' offers excellent service, and my child loved feeding the rabbits. The breakfast is a buffet, which is incredibly good value for a guesthouse, and it's clean and hygienic. Parking is convenient if you're driving, and they have slow chargers, although they weren't working during my visit. It's a short drive from the amusement park and Fengjing Ancient Town. We parked our car at the guesthouse at noon and took their shuttle to the park. They picked us up later to check-in, and I really appreciate the driver for taking us individually at lunchtime. The staff are very enthusiastic and the service is attentive. We got a free room upgrade, and the room was clean and tidy with comfortable bedding and good ventilation throughout, so no damp or musty smells. The soundproofing of the doors and windows was decent, the mattress was just right, and the curtains provided excellent blackout, allowing us to sleep soundly until morning after a tiring day of fun.

The Hyatt Centric, as always, is my dream hotel. Even during the National Day holiday, it was only about 200 RMB more expensive than usual, which is very reasonable. From the room, you can see Legoland, and downstairs is Binfenli where you can shop and watch movies. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the morning is very rich, and the dining hall is spacious. The staff are friendly and efficient. Unlike other Hyatt Centrics, there's no bar downstairs, nor do they offer the usual complimentary cocktails. This might be because of its proximity to Legoland. Instead, they offer a traditional craft experience. Framing costs extra, but the children really enjoyed it.

The room was pretty good, but there was no bathrobe. The service was excellent, and we got a free room upgrade. However, the breakfast selection was quite limited, and the restaurant floor was slippery – we actually slipped! Also, there was a book left behind by a previous guest in the room, making me question the thoroughness of the housekeeping.

My overall stay exceeded expectations. The entire place was clean and odor-free, with excellent soundproofing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the surrounding area had great amenities. It was also very affordable. I highly recommend it to everyone.

For the May Day holiday, I chose the newly opened Moshou Zhujing in Jinshan, Shanghai, and my two-night stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel's overall design felt like a minimalist, new-Chinese江南 (Jiangnan) style, with courtyard corridors and ink wash tones, creating a poetic and picturesque ambiance everywhere. The private standalone courtyards were secluded and tranquil, perfect for a peaceful tea break, where the green grass seemed to peek through the curtains. I particularly loved the natural wood textures paired with elegant soft furnishings indoors. The lines were clean and simple, complemented by well-placed lighting that created beautiful interplay of light and shadow. By day, the architecture felt like an artistic blank canvas, and by night, the warm lights illuminated the courtyard's water features, creating a gentle and serene atmosphere. Although the hotel had only recently opened, the service was exceptional! During check-out, a very polite gentleman (staff member) proactively asked about my stay and if I had any suggestions, carefully noting everything down. They are truly dedicated to their work. Honestly, for a newly opened hotel, they've already done an outstanding job in every aspect! I will definitely be back!

Excellent! This is my kids' favorite hotel. There were so many other children for them to play with. The owner was super helpful, providing rides whenever we needed them. Although breakfast was simple, it was very healthy and well-balanced. This time we stayed in two different rooms; unfortunately, we couldn't book the slide room this time. 😄 But my kids loved both rooms. The bathroom fixtures and water heater were all great quality. The owner even gave us a little gift. Sadly, my child cherished it so much that they accidentally left it on the train during a transfer. 🙁 The hotel is very close to both the station and Legoland, just a few minutes away.

I chose this guesthouse after reading many reviews and travel guides. You can tell they put thought into the decor. The guesthouse has a large and beautiful courtyard with perfectly distributed greenery. I was a little disappointed when I first entered, but the interior brightened up immediately. The rooms were very clean and well-designed, with a smart assistant. The separate toilet and bathroom were very convenient. My stay was very comfortable. When I checked in, the auntie was making qingtuan (a type of glutinous rice dumpling) and enthusiastically introduced them to us. We tried one, and it was delicious! The guesthouse also has a kiln oven, and bread was baking when I checked out. The auntie mentioned she also makes pizza and roast chicken, but you have to order in advance. Staying in a guesthouse always feels more personal and welcoming than staying in a hotel. This guesthouse was truly excellent, a very good travel experience.
