Hotels in District of Hutai and Pengpu, Shanghai

Came back to these hotels 2nd time. It’s affordable and very value for money. Amenities are great and have everything I want as a family in each traveller. Does that stand of this hotel is very great that i makes me happy for most details but not spending extras for unnecessary stuffs. Hotel also have self service laundry and dryer. Truly 4-star standard but with 3-star cost only. I will choose here again if I come back. Room photos are same as advertised and not overly beautified. The change/improvement I see compared to 2 years ago are: new robot for delivering food delivery to your room, and modified the shower screen with non-transparent material.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel. The room is spacious with great natural light, and the air conditioning and hot water are always available. The common areas are clean and odor-free, with prompt cleaning by the staff. The staff are very helpful and attentive, always ready to answer questions. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for future trips.

Service: The service attitude was excellent and very considerate, attentive and meticulous. Ordering takeout was convenient. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the subway station, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might want to reconsider. Cleanliness: To be fair, this is the worst Atour I've ever stayed at in terms of hygiene. Firstly, there were short hairs and body hair on the bedding. The kettle bar area had hair fragments and dust. The shower head in the bathroom was very old and had many scuff marks. (Although the hotel changed the sheets and duvet and cleaned the room again, attitude is one thing, cleanliness is another.) On the second day, I found unknown stains on the pillow, which was disgusting. The lighting is too dim, all spotlights. If you need to do your makeup, you should probably choose somewhere else.

Facilities: Very new. Cleanliness: Super clean. Environment: Very good. The room was spacious and the air inside was fresh. Service: Excellent. My companion suddenly felt unwell, and the front desk was informed that we hoped to extend our check-out to 3:00 PM. They didn't rush us even until 4:00 PM, and even offered their kind regards when we checked out, which was very touching. We ordered a lot of takeout at night, and the robot delivery was very fast. The convenience store didn't provide cutlery, but the front desk offered disposable utensils. Late-night porridge: Very delicious with a rich variety of side dishes. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again.

My child had an exam nearby, so I wanted to find a close place to rest. I'd seen this hotel being renovated and thought I'd give it a try. I arrived earlier than my check-in time and asked if there was an available room I could get into sooner. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes until a room was ready, and then they gave me the key card. Upon entering, it was clear the room had just been cleaned – the floor was still wet, a sign it had just been mopped. It had a smart toilet, and I didn't use the shower. The hand soap was verbena-scented, and there were two bottles of Nongfu Spring bottled water. Being on the side facing the residential area, it was relatively quiet. The air conditioning was powerful. The TV was a Skyworth smart TV, which allowed for on-demand content and screen mirroring. There's a small booth seating area with cushions and a small coffee table in the room, which is great for eating and means you're not just confined to the bed. Everything I've mentioned so far was satisfactory, but now for a pretty critical issue. As shown in image three, this huge bag of trash was left outside my door from 10 AM until 2:30 PM. It was ridiculous. Every time I went in or out, I could smell the garbage. There's actually a partition between rooms a bit further down; if it had been placed even 5 or 10 meters further away, I wouldn't have had to complain. This was particularly disappointing. The trash caused significant air pollution and was a very unpleasant experience. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and properly trains and assesses its service staff.

I booked this room at Weting for a child who was visiting Shanghai during the May Day holiday. I compared a few places and chose this one. It's quite close to Jiuguang and Daning shopping malls. The environment is pretty new and clean, without any strange odors. The only downside is that the room is a bit small, but that's reflected in the price. Overall, it's a good choice for getting around.

I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning for 3 consecutive nights this time, and the overall experience was very good, fully meeting Four Points by Sheraton's consistent service standards. For the first two nights, I booked a large city-view twin room. The room was spacious, providing ample space for luggage and temporary rest. By the third day, my original room type was sold out. The front desk staff member, LNY, was incredibly thoughtful and proactively helped us switch to a king-sized room on the same floor. This saved us the hassle of changing floors, making it very convenient for moving luggage and personal items. The staff communicated patiently throughout the process, and their attention to service details is truly commendable. The hotel has been open for some time, so the facilities aren't brand new, but they are very well-maintained. The room hygiene was excellent, and the bathroom and bedding were in great condition. Public areas were clean with no signs of age or unpleasant odors. All my daily needs were met satisfactorily. The hotel's location is a significant advantage, being right next to the Daning commercial area, making dining and shopping very convenient. The soundproofing in the room was also effective, ensuring a peaceful rest. The only minor drawback was the buffet breakfast. The overall taste and variety were quite standard, only enough to satisfy basic hunger, lacking any distinctive highlights.

外出遊玩一直都住美豪麗致酒店，這次訂的是兩間。上海的這家真的無可挑剔，客服也好，房間大，安靜，乾淨！真的很舒服！而且早餐種類很多，深夜一碗麪也很好！希望繼續保持！美中不足就是距離地鐵站太遠了😂不過勝在打車方便！孩子叫我一定給一個大大的贊！😂

The soundproofing isn't great; I could hear the smart speaker next door talking quite loudly. However, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly until morning. The transportation is also convenient, although the navigation app led me astray from the subway station.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were polite and friendly. It was a good stay.
