The bedding was comfortable and clean. We received a free room upgrade, and we could see Xujiahui Cathedral from our window. The shower had strong water pressure, and the air conditioning got nice and cool. The hotel is located in the heart of Xujiahui, making transportation and dining very convenient. Xujiahui Cathedral, Xuhui Bookstore, and the Jiaotong University campus are all just a stone's throw away.

Absolutely fantastic, super nice! The lady who checked us in last night was wonderful – so bright and sunny. I imagine their team must be great. She was also very pretty and incredibly warm and helpful. She kindly extended our check-out to 2 PM for free, which was a huge help since we arrived in the early hours of the morning. She's a truly amazing person; her excellent service goes beyond just being professional. Perhaps she's just a wonderful person by nature. The daytime staff also helped us with a free late check-out, for which we're very grateful because we were so, so sleepy. The room was smart and the stay was very pleasant.

We arrived late at night in Shanghai but the check-in was fast and efficient. After a whole day of airplane food, the free supper soothed our tummies and we were able to have a good night sleep on our first night. The room was large and spacious; lots of space to move around and put stuff around. There was a little nook by the window where we rested in the afternoon when the summer sun got way too hot to be outside. The aircon worked well. The shower water pressure was excellent 👌 We used the hotel's laundry room often, and the commercial washer and dryer meant we did our laundry in 1 - 1.5 hours - although it was competitive in the morning with the other guests. The metro station was a little further than we thought, but maybe because most of the walk was under the very hot sun. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this hotel!

The hotel's location and surroundings are quite good. It has its own garden, and right across from the VIP building exit are Wanping Park and Xujiahui Greenbelt. The room facilities are comprehensive, and breakfast is decent. The staff's service attitude is also very good. However, there are a few things I'd like to complain about: 1. **Parking:** There's no direct access between the parking lot and the hotel. You have to walk down stairs and then across a section of ground. Some areas in the parking lot had an unpleasant smell. I was told I could contact the front desk for a shuttle, but if it's too early (around 6 AM), there's no one available to drive. So, I had to walk to the parking lot in the pouring rain. 2. **USB Ports:** There were no USB ports on the room walls. When I asked the front desk, they said it was because the hotel was older and simply didn't have them. However, I coincidentally found a multi-functional power strip with several USB ports in the desk drawer. Clearly, the staff wasn't aware of this. 3. **Coffee Incident:** While drinking coffee at the lobby bar downstairs in the VIP building, I later found a several-centimeter-long thin plastic strip in my drink. The young ladies there were stumped and couldn't explain how it happened. Overall, the hotel is good, but further training for the staff is definitely needed.

A very pleasant stay! This hotel was a wonderful surprise. The location is convenient, with Fahua Soup Dumplings and Huxi Noodle House within walking distance. The hotel is situated in a creative park, giving it a strong artistic vibe. The best part is how quiet it is – I was especially satisfied with that! 👍 The service was excellent; they brought me water in the middle of the night. Anna had a particularly good attitude and was very responsive to any needs I had.

I booked this hotel early through Ctrip for a family trip. Since we needed to fly back to Shenzhen from Hongqiao Airport on the 26th and also wanted to visit Shanghai Jiao Tong University, I chose the Jinglai Hotel. It's super convenient for exploring nearby attractions like the Xujiahui Cathedral, Xujiahui Library, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtfully provided us with kids' slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also offers laundry and drying facilities, which really helped us catch up on our accumulated laundry. Plus, they have a great variety of breakfast options. Overall, our stay was cozy, the location was convenient, and the beds were comfortable.

Choosing a hotel is always the most agonizing part of any trip. I was a bit hesitant about picking Tianping Hotel this time, so I only booked two nights initially. However, I ended up loving it so much after checking in that I extended my stay for another two nights! My five-day, four-night trip to Shanghai was comfortable and enjoyable thanks to this hotel. The location is excellent; several major attractions in Xuhui District are within walking distance, and the nearby subway makes getting around very convenient. The rooms are spacious, and the double beds are a comfortable 1.35*2 meters, with all the necessary facilities and amenities. Breakfast was quite varied and tasty (I had it three days in a row!). I also highly recommend the restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel. The hotel didn't ask for a review, and I didn't take any interior photos, so I'll just use a few pictures of nearby attractions instead.

The room was clean and comfortable, though the air conditioning was a bit temperamental, going from hot to cold. Overall, the comfort level was acceptable. The first room I stayed in had a noticeable electrical humming noise, and the night light wouldn't turn off. If I were really tired, I could have managed, but I ended up requesting a room change. On the other hand, breakfast and the convenience of the surrounding area were both really good.

I didn't expect the guesthouse to be in such a central location, right next to Wutong Avenue. I definitely want to go out and explore, see Wukang Tower! The room was also very cozy, with great heating, quick hot water, and incredibly soft bedding. When we extended our stay, the room was already booked, but the owner promptly recommended a room near Jing'an Temple. The experience was excellent, perfectly embodying the saying, ”If the outside is bad, what does it matter to me if the inside is bad?” Hahaha.

Overall, my experience at the Hanting Hotel was great. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and go shopping. Always great, as usual. The room is very comfortable and they always upgrade me, which is nice as I'm also a member. The location is very convenient, with everything you need nearby. You can order whatever you want to eat or buy directly through delivery. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shanghai; you definitely won't be disappointed!

The room was spacious and bright with a very practical layout, and the natural light was exceptional. The sunlight pouring in instantly lifted my mood. It was also fully equipped with smart devices; the TV, air conditioning, and curtains could all be controlled through a smart system. This gave it a thoroughly modern feel, making the experience absolutely fantastic!

Highly recommend this hotel on Xinhua Road! I booked it casually for my trip to Shanghai, and after staying there, I honestly want to give it full marks! The location is absolutely amazing, folks! It's right on Xinhua Road, the one lined with梧桐树 (wutong trees, or plane trees). Step outside and you're surrounded by old Shanghai villas, perfect for stunning photos. You can easily walk to tons of trendy little shops, and an evening stroll is incredibly pleasant and peaceful – no noise at all, so sleeping is very quiet. I stayed in a Deluxe King Room, and when I opened the door, I was just wowed. The decor is that old Shanghai European retro style, which has so much character, definitely not your typical cookie-cutter chain hotel vibe. The room was spotless and spacious enough; two people could stay there comfortably without feeling cramped. Let me especially praise the amenities! The 55-inch large TV can cast screens, which was super enjoyable for binge-watching shows in bed at night. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, so showering doesn't make a mess everywhere – that's a huge plus. The bed was also incredibly comfortable and soft; even I, who usually have trouble sleeping in new places, slept soundly until morning. There are also complimentary drinks in the room, which is a really thoughtful little detail. The front desk staff were also very nice and friendly. Plus, you can cancel for free until 8 PM on the day of check-in, so there's no worry if your plans change – that's such a thoughtful policy. The price is also very reasonable. For this location and these amenities, it's really a great deal compared to nearby options. All in all, I had a very comfortable and happy stay. Next time I'm in Shanghai to explore the plane tree-lined streets, I'll definitely stay here again! I genuinely recommend it to all my girlfriends visiting Shanghai~
