Indigo Hotels in Shanghai

My stay was fantastic! Check-in at the front desk was efficient, the room was spotless, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. The staff were warm, polite, and responsive. The facilities are well-maintained, making for a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend Indigo Shanghai Jing'an! The hotel is themed around old Shanghai cinema, with a retro-modern lobby and public areas that create a unique atmosphere and are perfect for photos. The guest rooms are spacious and open, never feeling cramped, with a stylish and tasteful overall design. The room amenities are complete, the mattress firmness is just right, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The bathroom is large, with a separate big bathtub, and the toiletries have a luxurious scent. The room is clean, with thoughtful details, and a well-stocked minibar. The hotel also features a gym and swimming pool, and the public areas are well-maintained and tidy. Whether for business or leisure, the stay experience is absolutely top-notch.

I got completely ripped off! This 'Dripping Lake' room cost 2000! They claimed it was a 'co-designed' room, but it was just a basic kids' bed and a tent – absolutely no design elements whatsoever. The room was tiny; with the bunk bed and tent, there was no space, it felt so cramped. They clearly didn't consider adults; the chairs and table were so low, you could only sit on the bed. There was no view, couldn't see the lake at all. The layout was poorly designed; you walk in, and there's a toilet without a sink. The shower pressure was weak, and even turned all the way up, the water was only lukewarm. No bathtub either. No breakfast included, they only offered a 'free breakfast for kids under 1.4m', which is ridiculous – expecting a child to eat by themselves. And there's zero privacy; you can clearly see into the room across the hall.
