Marriott Hotels in Shanghai

We were there for 2 nights during our first trip to Shanghai & China and we were travelling with our 11 year girl. We moved from Hyatt on the Bund. The location was excellent for someone who wants to be in the middle of all action and at the other end of Nanjing Walking Street. You have the best walking street with all huge showrooms the family would want to visit including M&M, Lego, Miniso, Huawei within walking distance. Eric (Manager) was very kind and helpful to give us and all the guests a very special treatment and seeing we are enjoying our stay. We stayed in a duck themed room which was quite good in size and amenities. The breakfast spread was good but could be improved to accommodate Asian / western options. There was a McDonald’s / subway / Pakistani kebab place right below the building. The area felt very safe and not far from bund. The swimming pool and gym was nice as well. We did not get the time to visit the rooftop bar. Overall it was a good stay and we would not hesitate to return or recommend for others

The location is superb, right by the riverside promenade. In the evening, a stroll offers a stunning view of Yangpu Bridge. The river view room boasts an expansive vista, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the Huangpu River. Waking up to that view in the morning instantly boosts your mood. The service is attentive and the overall quality is excellent, making it perfect for both business trips and weekend getaways!

Absolutely a perfect stay! The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. I loved having a bathtub, and all the amenities felt high-quality. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the gym facilities were top-notch. Definitely worth another visit!

The front desk staff, Yuki, was not only handsome and composed but also incredibly responsible. He went above and beyond to help me with various travel issues, making my airport transfer completely hassle-free and convenient. I originally booked this place because of the convenient airport transfer service, but I was pleasantly surprised when Yuki even thoughtfully helped carry my luggage to the room. His service was meticulous and attentive, which was truly heartwarming.

My stay was exceptionally pleasant this time, and I'd like to specifically mention Tina at the front desk who left a wonderful impression on me. I had numerous small questions about travel and my room, and she listened patiently, speaking in a kind and gentle tone. She also proactively offered very practical advice. For any small requests, she went out of her way to help coordinate things. Her thoughtful and considerate service made me feel truly respected. This significantly enhanced my stay. I really appreciate Tina's professionalism and thank her for her dedication. I look forward to coming back again.

The newly opened Marriott in Songjiang exceeded my expectations and is definitely a five-star suburban hotel worth repeat visits. The room was brand new and spacious, with excellent natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was well-equipped, and the bathtub was very comfortable for soaking. The public facilities were excellent, with a well-maintained 24-hour gym and a heated swimming pool. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and consistent quality. The location is convenient, close to G60 Cloud Corridor, making dining and shopping easy. It's also very car-friendly, providing easy access to attractions like Sheshan and Guangfulin. The service was prompt and the staff were professional. The only minor drawback is that public transportation isn't great, so driving is highly recommended. Overall, it's suitable for both business trips and short weekend getaways, offering great value for money.

It was pretty good. The room was a bit small but had everything we needed. They saw we had a child and sent a small gift, thanks to the lady at the front desk for her service. My child needed formula, and the cleaning staff brought two bottles of water, which was thoughtful and kind. P.S. There's a current event at Daning Park, and we could see the fountain from our room window, so we didn't have to go out in the heat to see it.
