Traveling with my child for the weekend, I booked the Marriott Hotel in advance through Ctrip. The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Nanjing Road. The facilities are complete, and the room was clean and comfortable. Even though we had an unexpected encounter with a 'white dolphin' (a metaphor for a minor inconvenience or surprise), it didn't affect our mood at all. Gazing at the Oriental Pearl Tower through the rain-streaked window from our room was also a unique experience. The hotel even provided complimentary welcome fruits, small gifts, and other extra surprises, which was incredibly thoughtful. Honestly, most hotel hardware is pretty much on par these days; it's the little details in service that truly leave a lasting impression. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay.

The accommodation environment was decent, and the room was spacious enough. However, I had to call the front desk to request children's bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries. As for a five-star hotel, the staff didn't seem particularly enthusiastic and didn't greet me. The breakfast was quite disappointing; there wasn't anything particularly delicious, and I ended up just having coffee and toast both mornings.

Great service and new facilities. The room was spacious enough, clean, and had a good vibe.
The housekeeping auntie was very enthusiastic, proactively asking if we needed anything when we met her in the hallway.
Free parking was a big plus! 👍 After checking in, we just registered our license plate and room number at the concierge, and then entering and exiting the parking lot was hassle-free, which was very convenient.
Breakfast was also good.
Very satisfied, excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The experience was great, everything was good. The breakfast at the ground floor restaurant was also rich and delicious, with a wide variety of options.
The front desk staff, Yuki, was not only handsome and composed but also incredibly responsible. He went above and beyond to help me with various travel issues, making my airport transfer completely hassle-free and convenient. I originally booked this place because of the convenient airport transfer service, but I was pleasantly surprised when Yuki even thoughtfully helped carry my luggage to the room. His service was meticulous and attentive, which was truly heartwarming.
The hotel was clean and tidy overall, and the lobby was very grand. My room on the 20th floor offered an expansive view and excellent soundproofing. Kitty and another front desk staff member provided warm and attentive service, making both check-in and check-out quick and easy. Perhaps because it was the weekend, the underground parking was tight around 7 or 8 PM, while the automated multi-story parking remained empty due to its small size.
The newly opened Marriott Hotel in Songjiang Lingyun exceeded my expectations! Its location right next to the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor is superb. The lobby design blends the charm of Guangfulin's Jiangnan style, giving it a sophisticated and grand feel. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were warm and attentive. All rooms feature panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering incredible views, and I could even watch the Cloud Corridor's nightscape from bed in the evening. Parking was also convenient and free, and the security guard, Eason, was very enthusiastic and helpful with directions.
