"Facilities: Excellent, though a weighing scale would be a nice addition. The furnishings are all carefully selected, making for a very comfortable stay. Hygiene: Pretty good. However, there's always a faint smell of renovation in the room that doesn't seem to go away. Environment: Good. Service: Very good. They helped upgrade my room, responded quickly to any issues, and even had staff deliver food when the robot was busy during peak delivery hours, which was a thoughtful touch. The luggage storage service is good too. They also helped with my luggage when I checked out and took a taxi. Late checkout until 3 PM (subject to availability): This was great, allowing me to rest until 3 PM before checking out~"

"Facilities: The lobby is on the 35th floor, and during weekdays, office workers from the entire building share the elevators, leading to long waits and overcrowding – it was torture! The girl at the reception on the first floor was excellent, which is why I didn't rate this aspect poorly! Hygiene: Acceptable. Environment: Not far from the subway station, but a bit circuitous. It was a hassle with luggage. Service: This was my first stay at Atour. I noted my room preferences, and the front desk informed me they'd upgraded my room type. But for some reason, I waited a long time in the lobby without being assigned a room, and no one offered me a glass of water! Most importantly, the tea station at the front desk was inexplicably oriented towards the staff's counter, making it inconvenient for me to pour myself a drink! Even at Hanting hotels, the front desk tea is self-service! What a baffling design! After a long wait for the room, I was finally assigned one directly opposite a utility room on the same floor! I was woken up by people in the hallway past 2 AM, and then by noise from next door around 5 AM… and I had to rush to an appointment at 6:30 AM! Even though I didn't get a good night's sleep, that's one thing, but my booking platform indicated a 4 PM check-out. Yet, around 1 PM, exhausted, I finally managed to get an elevator back to my room for a nap, only to find my room card had expired! I had to go all the way downstairs again to reactivate it…! The hotel explained they'd extended my check-out to 6 PM as an apology! The problem is, wasn't check-out originally 4 PM? Why couldn't I get into my room when I returned at 1 PM? The elevators are already slow…! Honestly, it was a truly frustrating stay. The hotel front desk apologized repeatedly upon my departure and even offered a small gift. Given that, I haven't given a completely negative review, but I will definitely not consider staying at any Atour hotel again! I've stayed in hotels ranging from 4-5k RMB a night to Hanting hotels at 4-500 RMB a night, and this is the most difficult-to-rate experience I've had, requiring the most words to explain – I gave it to Atour! I booked based on so many positive reviews, but the result was truly disappointing!"

The room overlooked K11 and the sea, which my little one absolutely loved..."

MMuga nnThe loft design with the large sofa is perfect for families with two children, offering plenty of sleeping space. The hotel has a strong industrial design aesthetic throughout. The restaurant on the first floor serves delicious food, and they offer complimentary coffee and craft beer. The slogans placed around the hotel enhance the interaction between the hotel and its guests.

YYi^i.Our stay here was truly an unforgettable experience! The hotel perfectly embodies the concept of 'escaping the city without being isolated.' The moment you step inside, you feel instantly secluded from the outside hustle and bustle, enveloped in the tranquility of the mountains and sea. The hotel's design is exceptional, with pristine white buildings nestled into the hillside, blending seamlessly with the natural landscape. Opening your door reveals an unobstructed 'glass sea' view that is absolutely breathtaking. The room was clean and tidy, and the attention to detail was impeccable. The butler team provided professional and attentive service, always available when needed and proactively assisting with luggage.

GGuest UserI've been working too hard lately, so I decided to take a short break at the St. Regis Qianhai OCT this weekend. The hotel's facilities are superb and the aesthetic is high-end, but the service was really subpar. I arrived at 2:50 PM, and the guy at the front desk checking me in was greasy, slow, and arrogant. Well, people have different personalities, so I didn't want to nitpick, and I just put up with it. Then I was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait about half an hour. Around 3 PM is when I usually feel sleepy, and all I wanted was to check in quickly and catch a nap. But to keep my holiday mood intact, I put up with it again. So I sat in the lobby reading a book, waiting to check in. However, after waiting fifty minutes, other guests who were also waiting in the lobby had all checked in, and the greasy front desk guy had disappeared – no one was paying attention to me. After a bit more waiting, a female staff member noticed me and asked if I was waiting to check in. I said yes. She took my name to check, and in no time, found that my room was ready, then led me to the elevator. I was truly baffled – if it weren't for this lady, how much longer would that greasy guy have made me wait? On the way to the elevator, I was even more surprised. We ended up walking alongside a group of people viewing properties for sale. The sales agent was loudly introducing the development to several clients as they walked, taking up the entire hallway. The female staff member leading me to the elevator looked conflicted, and finally just led me straight through the middle of their group. To my surprise, this same group and I got into the same elevator. They continued to loudly discuss the property throughout the ride, which felt really low-class! Also, neither the butler nor the turndown service attendant had their phones on silent, which was very impolite. Lastly, at breakfast, no one showed me to a table or asked if I wanted coffee or tea. Overall, the service was quite disappointing.

GGuest UserMy stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an was an exceptional experience. The room design was elegant and grand, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views of the Shenzhen cityscape. The room was spacious and well-laid out, with attention to detail that spoke to its quality and thoughtfulness. The guest services team was also impressive; the dining options were exquisite and varied, and the ambiance was quiet and comfortable, perfect for relaxation or light work. The service, in particular, was impeccable – professional yet attentive, with quick responses that made me feel truly at home. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a quiet and pleasant overall stay. Whether for business travel or a leisure vacation, this hotel is a highly recommended choice.

GGuest UserPros - Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre. - Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far). - Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes. - Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too. - Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do. After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services. - Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly. - Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi. Cons The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms: 1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms. 2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking. 3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time. It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard. I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself. Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend everyone come and experience the best hotel in Shenzhen.

JJule_zHad a great stay! The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station, about a 10-minute walk. It's connected to 3 subway lines, making getting around very convenient, especially Line 11, which goes directly to the airport in less than an hour. There's also a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze. I stayed in an executive room, and the layout and flow were very well-designed. Some of the facilities showed thoughtful attention to detail, and the British-style decor was very comfortable. The square bathtub was quite unique – it was great to watch TV while taking a bath. The double sinks were a nice touch, and the shower had excellent water pressure with a good hot water supply. Room service was prompt, even though some amenities were out of stock. Their explanations and handling of the situation were spot-on, so I was still very impressed! The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was good. Cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) and ramen were made to order, and there were cards on the tables to prevent long queues and crowding. The lounge's afternoon tea had a rich selection and was delicious. The evening light meal was decent one day but not so good on another. The male staff in the lounge were very friendly and attentive, while the female staff were a bit more formal. The gym and swimming pool were both quite clean. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Recommended!

GGuest UserI booked a family room, which came with a two-meter king-size bed and a one-meter single bed. The king-size bed was very comfortable, but the single bed was rock-hard, like sleeping on a wooden board; it was impossible to sleep on. In the middle of the night, it was so uncomfortable that I had to ask for an extra duvet to put on top of it before I could finally fall asleep. We didn't request an extra bed; the room we booked was supposed to have two beds. Shouldn't the mattresses on both beds be equally comfortable? This was very disappointing. We would rather have a slightly smaller room than compromise on a comfortable mattress. Apart from that, everything else was great.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed two nights over the Easter holidays and overall had a nice experience, with a few notable downsides. The highlight is definitely the high-floor room (45–56 floors) with a fantastic view of Shenzhen Bay. Waking up to that view was a treat. The hotel is located in what feels like a business / science and technology district, which became very quiet during the holidays—something we actually appreciated. The staff are friendly. Despite the MTR exit being right at the hotel, there is also a proper covered pickup and drop-off area, making it very convenient for DiDi. This made getting around effortless. The room itself was modern and comfortable. We loved the cool glass-enclosed bathtub design and the proper, well-equipped shower. Greafuly bath salt was included. That said, a few things held the experience back: •Soundproofing is poor, as mentioned in other reviews. We could clearly hear housekeeping noise from the next room in the morning around 8ish 9am. •The snack bar concept feels outdated. Instead of charging extra for snacks, it would be better to simply include something unique and special in the room rate. •Surprisingly, there’s no capsule coffee machine, only basic drip coffee that requires boiling water—not ideal if you’re feeling lazy in the morning. We chose not to include breakfast, preferring to explore local food options instead. The robot service was a fun and interesting touch now.

2203993****The location is good, right next to Lianhua Mountain. Downstairs there's a restaurant, and across the street, there's a small supermarket and other dining options. Cross the pedestrian bridge and you're in Meilin, so it's very convenient for food. Subway: It's about 600-700 meters from Lianhua North Station (Line 4), a 5-6 minute walk. Hotel Environment: It's a bit older, so the facilities are a little dated. Service: The service was very good, and they responded quickly. When I checked into my room, I found the door lock was broken, and the hotel immediately upgraded my room. That was excellent!👍🏻 Overall, the value for money is pretty good, considering the price and the advantageous location.
