Everything from the service, ambiance, to the quality of items truly deserves a five-star rating 👍. I forgot to take actual photos of the room, but it looks exactly like the official promotional pictures, and actually felt even more spacious. It seems some rooms have a coffee capsule machine and some don't; ours didn't, and we also didn't get any welcome fruit. Perhaps they were too busy preparing during the holiday season. We ordered takeout, and it was delivered by a robot. The second time, it was too slow, so I called to ask about its whereabouts. The third time, a staff member personally delivered it, which made me feel a bit embarrassed. But it really shows that all the hotel staff are great. The hotel breakfast is above average; the variety was less than I expected, but the quality was good, and they had most of what we wanted to eat. 🥰🥰 A very pleasant stay.

This place felt like the perfect escape! It only took an hour or two to drive here from Nanshan, Shenzhen, and it's like a resort paradise without even needing to fly. The chapel is incredibly photogenic, with a grand, almost Egyptian pyramid-like feel. The beach, though not huge, was fantastic and offered a real sense of private seclusion. When we were tired from playing, we just walked up to the Western or Chinese restaurants on the beach to eat. The best part? It was incredibly affordable! A freshly squeezed juice was only a few yuan – seriously, it would cost more to buy the fruit and make it at home! Both the Western and Chinese restaurants had really delicious food too, so the value for money was exceptional. Our stay also included a two-person yacht trip and a sound bowl healing session, which made the room rate feel incredibly reasonable – such a great deal. There were a few stairs, but honestly, isn't that part of the island getaway vibe? Many great resort hotels in Southeast Asia don't have elevators either, unless they're business hotels. All in all, I'm very satisfied and will definitely be coming back again and again!

Guest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location with sea views and is surrounded by a bustling commercial area, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The room gets great natural light during the day, and the night views are beautiful. A special shout-out to Nicole, who provided gentle and attentive service, perfectly addressing every request. True to St. Regis's reputation, both the environment and service are impeccable. See you next time!

Overall, a great stay. The hotel is ideally located in Futian CBD, surrounded by unique dining options and with convenient transport links. The stunning panoramic views of Shenzhen's vibrant nightscape are truly a luxurious experience. The staff were warm, attentive, and demonstrated exceptional professionalism and high-end service, and the food selection was plentiful. I highly recommend it for both business trips and leisure vacations!

circle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

Guest UserThis was my first stay at the Shenzhen Marriott Hotel, and honestly, it was a mixed bag – some good, some not so good. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were excellent, very friendly and helpful. However, the staff at the entrance and the bellhops were quite disappointing. They weren't proactive in assisting guests, and for a hotel, the first impression often comes from the entrance staff. This really detracted from my overall experience. The front desk staff were polite and said everything was fine, but the baggage handlers were truly awful. On the positive side, the dim sum at the restaurant was exceptional. So, if I ever consider staying here again, I'll definitely have to think long and hard about it. I honestly don't understand how a five-star hotel can have such a stark difference in service quality. For a first-time guest at the Marriott Shenzhen, it was certainly a memorable experience, but not entirely for the right reasons.

Guest UserThis city hotel, with its views of the Shenzhen skyline from every angle, is my top pick for city views. The location, hotel amenities, surrounding facilities, and guest services are all exceptional.
Many online reviews mention that the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are dated, but after staying there, I disagree. When the hotel first opened, it was very well-equipped, from the bathrooms to the decor, and even had iPads, which are usually only found at The Peninsula, making it quite convenient. If you're concerned about outdated hardware, you can opt for a suite or higher-category room, as it seems these have all been updated.
I have two particularly strong impressions:
1) Due to a minor operational error by the hotel, I contacted the platform, and they connected me with the duty manager. The duty manager on the day of my check-in was very friendly, highly professional, and also quite personable and sincere. This was one of the best duty managers I've encountered at a St. Regis property.
2) When checking out, I left my luggage in the room, intending to have the concierge store it. However, after exchanging currency, I found it inconvenient to carry the cash and wanted to retrieve my wallet from my bag. The two concierges on the 1st floor responded quickly and were very professional.
3) When leaving the hotel and hailing a taxi, the driver didn't stop right at the entrance. The concierge helped find the car and opened the door for me. Highly commendable!
Finally, a big thank you to:
Duty Manager (DEPP YANG)
Concierge (SUNNY QIN, GAMELLIA GUO)

A special shout-out to our housekeeper, Cassie, whose professionalism was outstanding! She proactively reached out regarding our check-in, providing clear instructions and guiding us through the process upon arrival. Any last-minute requests were handled promptly and efficiently. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and her service was meticulous. With Cassie taking care of everything, we didn't have to worry about a thing during our vacation. The experience was excellent, highly recommended!

Guest UserThis is my third stay here, and it's definitely the best 5-star hotel near Nanshan Science and Technology Park. The views are incredible, the rooms are very spacious, modern, and exceptionally well-designed. Compared to other hotels in the area, the value for money is outstanding. The gym facilities are also excellent, with a great range of equipment and, again, amazing views. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍

It's an older hotel, and while the facilities are a bit dated, the room itself was generally good. The hotel staff were very friendly and even upgraded my room for free, which offered a great view of the city's night skyline. Plus, the Chinese restaurant downstairs had a good variety of dishes, and the food was pretty tasty. Overall, it offered decent value for money.
