doudoudou…Overall, it's excellent and the best option in its price range. The room isn't large but has a lot of character and many thoughtful touches. You can really see their commitment to sustainability. They didn't even rush us to check out past noon, even though we hadn't arranged for a late check-out with the front desk beforehand.
There were only two minor issues: 1. No bathrobes in the room. I called the front desk twice, and when the staff brought one, she said it didn't have a tie, even though there were clearly loops for one. It seemed like they were short on stock and could only find one without a tie. 2. No slippers provided for showering, so I had to go in barefoot. I considered calling the front desk, but it was getting late, and I didn't want to bother them.
However, these two points are completely acceptable and didn't really bother me. My biggest concern when checking in was the front desk mentioning potential noise from city road construction, but it didn't affect my sleep at all.

Bringing kids to Guangming? I definitely recommend this hotel!
The location is truly excellent. Phoenix City Station is right next door downstairs, and there's a shopping mall nearby. It's just two stops to the Science and Technology Museum and the Art Museum, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around!
They have a wide variety of parent-child themed rooms. We booked the Penguin Igloo theme this time. The room was very spacious, with a 2-meter king-sized bed and a child's bed, plus a 'secret igloo hideout' that the little one absolutely loved. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation and a large bathtub, perfect for the kids to soak in at night. The room also thoughtfully provided kids' cups, toiletries, and a booster stool. It's genuinely ideal for families traveling with children.
The hotel facilities are also great, including a gym, a heated swimming pool, and a laundry room.
We had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. When you're in Guangming, you have to try the Guangming Roast Pigeon, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy it right at the hotel without having to go out. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the taste was fantastic!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen! As an established five-star hotel in Futian CBD, its location is exceptional, within walking distance to Chegongmiao Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient whether you're here for business or leisure. The lobby boasts a low-key yet luxurious design, creating a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious, meticulously cleaned, and feature a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The mattress is soft, ensuring an excellent night's sleep.
I especially want to commend the hotel's service team; the Guest Relations Specialist was patient and thoughtful, efficiently responding to all our needs. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, with authentic Cantonese dim sum. The gym and swimming pool facilities are comprehensive. My entire stay was pleasant and seamless; the Marriott standard is definitely upheld. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying again.

BusshuiA huge shout-out to Vanilla at the front desk of The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen Galaxy! My stay was absolutely perfect. The lobby ambiance is grand and elegant, and the location is superb. However, the most outstanding aspect was undoubtedly the professional service from the front office team. A special thank you to Front Office Director Perry and the entire front desk team: Hedy, Jimmy, Jennifer, Molly, Erin, Dannie, Koko, Sahar, Joy, Bella, and Eva. The whole team is incredibly well-trained and works seamlessly together, maintaining order even during peak check-in times. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick.
The team members were consistently gentle and polite, proactively explaining hotel facilities, local transportation, and member benefits. They were prompt in responding to requests for luggage storage, coordinating room needs, and answering inquiries. Their attention to detail was exceptional, perfectly embodying the Ritz-Carlton's 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' philosophy. Each team member was patient, meticulous, and handled situations with poise, resolving issues efficiently and thoughtfully. There was no cumbersome waiting at any point, and my travel fatigue instantly melted away. When I visit Futian next time, The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen Galaxy will still be my top choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

ZhenSunny SNestled in the southern tip of Shenzhen's Dapeng Peninsula, ”Shanye” is an absolute hidden gem for a getaway! The hotel boasts a prime location right on the pristine, sandy coast of Yougan Bay. Our pool-view room was exceptional, featuring a Dyson hairdryer and a complimentary, unlimited mini-bar. The service was impeccable; the staff were incredibly responsive and always happy to accommodate reasonable requests. The hotel's communal heated pool was spotless and offered breathtaking views, with several Instagrammable spots perfect for photos. The biggest surprise was the complimentary 45-minute yacht excursion, offering stunning panoramic views of the bay. The Chinese restaurant provided incredible value for money; a sumptuous three-person meal with both meat and vegetable dishes cost less than 200 yuan, and a vegetable dish was only 10 yuan – excellent quality at an unbeatable price. Highly recommended!

ChaoleguanjidianThe room is quite spacious, and the bedding is excellent. The sheets and pillows are very comfortable, so I slept exceptionally well. Getting a good night's sleep in a hotel is very important, and this is high praise indeed. The hotel's decor is stylish, making you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. Breakfast deserves a special mention; the variety is rich, and the taste is unparalleled. The Cantonese breakfast was delicious, and the egg rolls and eggs Benedict were also very good. The only downside is that if you go late for breakfast, you might have to queue, but there are plenty of seats, so even if there's a line, it moves quickly. The coffee and tea at breakfast are also excellent. Freya, Winky, and Monuca at the front desk are very thoughtful. They genuinely care if you're enjoying your stay and promptly address any issues that arise during check-in.
The front desk for check-in is on the 33rd floor with a great view. The executive lounge is a nice place to relax and unwind. Afternoon tea consists of two types of cake and some beverages. Dinner is relatively simple but has everything you need, including a noodle bar, which shows a good effort. Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and I would choose this hotel again if I return.
However, there are three minor drawbacks I must mention:
1. One side of the hotel faces a large construction site, so the view isn't great. There's not much the hotel can do about this, as it's already well-maintained, but the surrounding environment does detract a bit. Perhaps future stays could compensate for this view deficit.
2. Light leaks from one side of the curtains, which can slightly affect sleep.
3. For such a high-end hotel, the complimentary water was Nongfu Spring with a red cap. While Nongfu Spring is good, I feel an upgrade to the water would be more fitting.
Hygene: The cleaning was very detailed and thorough. The cleaning staff were all smiles and greeted me warmly, which put me in a good mood.
Service: Whether it was the concierge on the first floor or the staff in the executive lounge/breakfast restaurant, everyone was incredibly friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

Guest UserMy friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years.
For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in – I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. I also want to thank the lovely Victor, who showed us to our room, gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel, and took photos for us. And a special thank you to Brian, the 'Chef Concierge' (Golden Key member), who satisfied our curiosity by explaining the origin and role of the Chinese Golden Key concierges. Besides having a wonderful birthday trip, we also gained a rich experience in human connection. Thank you to everyone at Futian MO. We'll definitely be staying here again! ^.^

Coincidentally, a typhoon hit, and my original plan was to travel to areas around Shenzhen for the weekend. Due to the typhoon and high-speed rail cancellations, I had to change my plans and opted for a staycation in Shenzhen. I was drawn to THE LANGHAM's unique British charm, and after much deliberation, I chose this hotel. Although it's been open for a while, I was a bit worried the facilities might be outdated. However, comparing it to the most beautiful lounges in London, I impulsively booked an executive room.
Upon arrival, a small hiccup delayed my check-in. Afterward, a thoughtful male staff member at the front desk noticed and guided us to the executive lounge on the 22nd floor to check in. There, Peter, who assisted us, was incredibly warm and demonstrated the professionalism expected of high-end hotel staff. He thoughtfully asked about our preferences and led us to a comfortable spot in the lounge. Throughout our time, the lounge staff — Emily, Via, Yulia, and Caron — also showcased what a 'most beautiful lounge' should be, with attentive service and impeccable attire. The variety of drinks and other offerings in the lounge was extensive; we basically didn't want to leave.
Stepping into the room, a strong British ambiance immediately enveloped us, truly reflecting the brand's unique character. The room offered panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay through its 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing us to experience the city's vibrancy even from bed. The hotel breakfast was also rich and varied; I tried the beef noodles, which were excellent, and the desserts were a big plus.
Thanks to the professional service and the brand's distinctive style, I felt the joy of a vacation without even leaving Shenzhen. THE LANGHAM is truly worth it!

Yoyoqiekenao201120This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Shenzhen. The service is excellent, the environment is great, and the breakfast and executive lounge service are simply top-notch. 👍🏻 They even contacted me a day in advance to communicate and tried their best to meet my needs. Truly thoughtful!

Anonymous UserThe room was very comfortable and met all our needs. Breakfast was quite substantial, but the executive lounge was a letdown, with very little on offer. Compared to Westin executive lounges abroad, the selection of food and drinks was significantly worse, likely due to cost-cutting measures. Overall, considering the price, it's decent value for money.
