3-Star Hotels in Canton of Valais, Switzerland

I took my kids to ski. This hotel is close to the main street, but not easy to find. It's in a small alley behind the main street. I arrived at the hotel at night and asked several people but no one knew where it was. I searched for a long time in the snow and ice before I found it. Fortunately, the town is safe. When I entered the hotel, the room key was left in an envelope at the front desk. The entire hotel facility is new and clean. The room is also very comfortable and the breakfast is very rich. I walked out the next day and realized that the hotel is still in the center. But it is still a distance from the ski lift, so I need to take a taxi. It takes less than ten minutes to get there. It's interesting to choose a taxi in the town when I don't know the direction for the first time.

It was my first time in Switzerland and it was a very good experience. If you want to see the Matterhorn up close, see the stars at night, and ski, it is worth coming here. The dinner is quite regular and tastes very good. The breakfast is a buffet. Although it is below zero outside, the room is very warm. BTW, it is very dry, so you need to turn on the humidifier.

The check-in time must be before 16:00, because if it is later, there will be no cable car to the top of the mountain. The hotel is on the mountain, opposite the Golden Summit of the Matterhorn, which has great scenery. The hotel service is very good, providing dinner and breakfast.

The balcony was really pretty, and it was really nice to be able to stay with the picturesque mountains in the background. The highlight of this accommodation is the sauna. It was really hot, and they gave us plenty of towels, so we had a great time. They gave us a guest card, and we got into the snow park for free, so we rented a sled for 6 francs and had a great time. And we could also get a 10% discount on the rocker backer. These are such fun memories of the Seolsan Hotel. I'll cherish them for the rest of my life.

Value for money. The hotel is very central. The room is clean and well equipped, but a little small.

Hotel is clean and comfortable but my swimsuit got stolen. I forgot it in the room upon checkout. 2 hours later I remembered i left it hanging on the door - went back to hotel to retrieve it and staff said they couldn’t find it. 2 days later I called and they still couldn’t find it - so it’s clear it was stolen. I am rather disappointed. Definitely not coming back.

Overall, the hotel was a bit outside of the city center of Sion but nothing to complain about. We didn't have breakfast there so I can't say anything about that. The room was clean, a bit small but with enough amenities. Service was also okay although we didn't have too many interactions with the employees.

This hotel is really a treasure. During the day, I played at Matterhorn in Zermatt. The price of the nearby hotel was too spicy, so I looked for it outside. It happened to be Saturday. The hotel was generally expensive. While facing the Swiss SBB route map, I actually found the city of Sion and saw this hotel. The room is big and the family of three is very comfortable. It is also very close to the train station. After being familiar with it, it takes 4 minutes to push the box to the station door ( Trip.com has a problem with the positioning, remote, and it is not so far from the train station). I like this oversized glass window the most. The scenery after opening the blinds is really amazing. Sion is very comfortable in the city. After getting up in the morning, I went to the castle and then went back to clean up and check out. It felt so comfortable to lie on the bed and face the scenery. Breakfast is also great! This is the most surprising hotel recently!

The triple room has a balcony and is very comfortable. The nearby castle is very beautiful, it is convenient to go hiking or cycling, there is free parking space but there is not necessarily a place during the peak period. The staff was nice and delicious in the morning. But the bathroom has no windows and exhaust fans are slightly lacking.
