3-Star Hotels in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

The hotel is good. The room is spacious, good view from the window. We rented a room for two, but breakfast is offered only for one. Breakfast is good.

Hotel is in a good location nearby Pyeongtaek station. Room needed some TLC as caulking looked moldy and light in bathroom was out. It was also odd that they left us one towel for 2 guests.

카운터 직원 분이신지 사장님이신지 응대도 좋고 친절 하셨습니다. 호텔도 다른건 다 맘에 들었는데요. 처음 들어간 방이 들어가자마자 담배냄새가 확 나더라고요. 그래서 바로 방을 바꿔달라고 했습니다. 바꾼방은 처음에는 담배냄새가 안났는데, 환풍기 등을 통해 다른 방에서 옮겨오는 건지, 담배냄새에 쩐 가구가 있는건지 창문열어놔도 몇시간 후에는 어지러워서 못있겠더라고요. 이미 몇시간 있었는데 방 바꾸긴 미안해서 그냥 호텔 옮겨서 잤습니다. 그것 빼고는 다 좋았습니다. 카운터 응대가 좋아서 방 바꿔달라면 바꿔 줬을거 같긴해요. 여튼 그거 빼고는 다 좋았습니다. 조식도 간단히 주는거 같고 세탁도 무료더라고요. 24시간 옥상개방 건조도 되는듯하고 주차공간도 좋습니다. 방도 티비 무지 큽니다.

Former Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it. The location is great, the parking lot is great, and the facilities are decent. However, I don't know if it's the staff or the owner... but there was no greeting at the information desk for check-in or check-out, and there was absolutely no friendliness.

I booked this accommodation to stay for one night while hanging out in Seoul, and the room was spacious and I was very satisfied with the cleanliness. The bathtub looked a bit dated, but it was clean and there were no issues using it. Above all, I was satisfied because the bathtub was large. The bed was also big and comfortable. The OTT connection method was a bit cumbersome, but it was manageable enough, so it was a satisfying stay.

For a last minute booking the hotel was very accommodating. I was a bit skeptical with the first impression of the lobby giving a very motel vibe, as I went to my floor I was quite surprised as the look of the hallway was quite different than what I expected. Entering my room, I felt a very cozy and welcoming feeling (keep in mind). I do live in an apartment in another city in South Korea so I am used to the layouts of Korea apartments and I can say that the room was more of a studio type room with furniture than a hotel which for makes it more homey. Entering the room, they already provide indoor slippers. The layout with table and chairs and sink (what used to be a cooking area) gives it the studio apartment feeling. Very spacious and open and the TV (huge) is bigger than what most 5 star elegant hotels have. The bidet is on point and shower is a modern concept. They also provide a transformer for those who require or have electronics that require 110v charge.
