Amazing location, just right beside oslo central station, about 30 mins to the airport! Room was small but clean. Breakfast was really good, but should go early otherwise there will be a queue even with reservation. Room cleaning was quite basic, clearing of trash and change of towels. No amenities except for shower essentials. Worth it for the price, Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in oslo!

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable. Location-wise, it’s convenient with shops and public transport nearby. There were a few minor issues, but nothing major. Good value for the price, and I would consider staying here again.

The location is unbeatable, and it is very convenient to travel. The breakfast is also rich and tastes good. The front desk service is very good, and the Norwegian beauties are very gentle. There are doors all around the hotel, and it is very convenient to enter and exit. It is very close to the art gallery, the theater, and the river. There are many restaurants around, and it is also convenient to eat. The room has a high ceiling.

Helt ok hotell. Hadde det mest nødvendige, seng, dusj, toalett, tv. Veldig lite rom.

The location was conveniently close to major sites like Oslo's Central station and all the attractions in Karl Johan's Gate. We could see both the Oslo Opera House, Munch Museum and Oslofjord from our room's window. It is a short walk to many good restaurants, cafes and shops as well as some convenience stores. The area is pretty walkable but you just have to watch out for uneven pavement. Bus 30 has a stop right in front of the hotel and many of the museums worth making a trip out of the city centre for are on this route. The ”barception” combines both a bar and a reception area. There is plenty of seating in the lobby which also functions as the breakfast area in the morning. The reception desk also has a small convenience store where you can purchase snacks, drinks and some sandwiches but it is a little bit pricier than the nearby convenience stores and supermarkets. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly during our stay and we visited a few times and received information and assistance quickly. We were initially worried because there was only one working elevator during our stay but that was only an issue a couple of times. We liked our room with the furnishings provided but would say it is very dim. We got a corner room which had a work space, a bench by the window, a chair and a good sized bed. We appreciated that there were several coat hooks on the walls to hang our winter clothing on when we visited. The hotel promotes sustainability throughout and while the lighting is perfect in the hallways and common areas we found our three small lights and two bedside lamps did not provide enough lighting in the evening which comes early in December. The TV was a big flat screen but unfortunately the smart features were disabled and the programming available is a little dry at this hotel. The amenities at the hotel are sufficient but I booked believing that there would be laundry facilities on site which there isn't. They recommended going to a sister property which was about a 10-15 minute walk away and online had one laundry machine and we were lucky not to have to wait long to get it done. Kettles and extra pillows are available upon request. Our favourite part of the bathroom was the heated floor which made the bathroom nice and cozy. The shower had swinging doors on both sides which helped open up the space when it wasn't in use but it didn't provide a perfect seal to keep the water in during a shower. Thankfully the heated floor helped evaporate the overflow quickly. The shower pressure was good but it was initially tricky to get the right temperature. We appreciated that there was plenty of counter space in the bathroom which made up for the lack of ventilation so use the toilet wisely. The breakfast was pretty good. There was a good variety of hot and cold items including smoked salmon, pancakes, chia seed cups, overnight oats, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and an area to make your own yoghurt bowl with toppings. They also had a tea/coffee area with plenty of additives like non-sugar sweeteners and creamed honey. We liked the fruit platters but found by the time we went they were largely picked over and they were the less desirable pieces leftover. We started each of our days off right with a decent breakfast each morning. Comfort Hotel has seemingly taken over Oslo in this area and there are quite a few locations. We picked this hotel because it was pretty central for our itinerary, was fairly priced and it has decent sized rooms.

It's a 10-minute walk from the station. The location is good and close to various attractions. The only drawback is that it is next to the tram. The hotel is right next to the tram track and the carpet in the room doesn't look clean. Everything else is good, and the breakfast is also very rich!

Stayed here while traveling around the world. The location is good, and it's easy to get to anywhere. There's a convenience store nearby, so it was very convenient. The room was compact and functional. It wasn't large, but it had a strange sense of calm. The reception staff were always friendly, and greeted me with a gentle smile when I left and when I returned (not overly outgoing, but just right for Japanese people), which made me feel at ease. I was especially happy with how kind they were when I returned to use the toilet after checking out!

I really enjoyed my 2 nights stay in Oslo Citybox. It’s superbly conveniently located minutes from the train station. Plenty of food nearby and couple of minutes from the main shopping street including the luxury brands. There is a foosball table, table tennis table, darts for family fun, in addition to card games and chess. There’s a kitchen where kettle and microwave are available, in addition to vending machine for small snacks. Highly recommended!

AAdaline MasudaTruly one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well accommodated and comfortable throughout. When we arrived at the hotel it was 11AM, so I mentioned to the front desk staff that I know it was far too early for us to receive our room (check in is typically at 3PM) and that we would like to simply drop off our bags. Without any special requests, the front desk staff immediately prepared our room keys of us to check in right away, which was hugely appreciated since we had caught a very early morning flight in. We loved the room. It was very comfortable for the 3 of us, although a bit tight but that's what we expected for hotel rooms in Europe. The bathroom was well fitted and had all the basic toiletries required (shampoo, body wash, hand soap), however we hoped to have body lotion as well, so we asked housekeeping whether any was available and they immediately brought 3 LARGE bottles for each of us to use. I have never seen such massive toiletries and in such generous quantities supplied at any hotel before, which again made us feel very well taken care of. Finally on our check out day our flight was not until 6PM and since checkout is typically at 11AM I requested for just a 1 hr extension. Although they were very busy for it being the beginning of summer holidays, without any hesitation the front desk staff extended our checkout time to 3PM. I was once again very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My last note is to touch on the complimentary tea and coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the fabulous buffet breakfast they served. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

TThammarutThe bed is so comfortable. It's so clean. I really like the Nordic interior design and lighting in my room. But this neighbourhood is under major construction. A few buildings nearby are being demolished. Walk carefully when you go out.

GGuest UserGreat location. The breakfast buffet had a big variety of food and I really enjoyed it. The lounge was cozy and staff was really nice. However, the room is not worth the price I paid for. The room is small with the sink and mirror facing the bed. It is impractical to have the sink in the main room, and to have the mirror facing the bed, which has bad spritual meaning. Toothbrushes are not included, and there is no hair conditioner. There is also no air conditioning, but it is okay since Oslo is a cold city. There are several bugs in the corner of the room, and stains could be seen everywhere. The shower is insanely small, which is not friendly for people with bigger body types. There is also no physical lock in the door of the rooms. Overall, everything about the hotel is nice except the room.

GGuest UserThe check-in time is 16:00. I suppose to receive the pin code of the main entrance and the information of my room by 16:00 according to the confirmation e-mail. I didn't receive the e-mail at that time. I was not able to call. Some locals help us to give a call. My friend gave his e-mail address to the staff but he still cannot receive the pin code. We were not able to get in. I finally receive the e-mail from the hotel 40 minutes after the check-in time. We waited for so long. That's an awful experience. By the way, there is a chewed bubble gum on the kitchen table...

AAmitIt was a really excellent hostel. Clean. Has all facilities and in the perfect location. The only thing I can suggest hostel improvement is to ask guests what they plan on doing at the hostel as, I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and only met 2 people my age who wanted to meet and become friends and hang out etc. The rest were boring 50+ and even one 72 year old who was living there and was a let down as they kept complaining that we were talking after 11pm. If the young ones and old ones, or the quiet ones and the meet friends and go out ones are seperated, this hostel could be 5**

GGuest UserWe had a short but pleasant stay the night before we left for the airport. We arrived late but the check-in was smooth and the woman at the front desk was pleasant. They inadvertently made up the sofa bed in the wrong room but quickly rectified it once we called, even though it was late at night. Small but comfortable room for a family of four with a great breakfast. An easy walk to the train station to head to the airport. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to families looking for a central, clean, and reasonably priced accommodation! Thanks for a pleasant stay!
