2-Star Hotels in Beijing, China

It’s perfect for travelers departing from Beijing Daxing Airport. The hotel maybe in an isolated place but it has bus available to take you to subway stations which can easily get you to the city center. The drop off service to the airport is the main game changer for me. The staff helps load/unload baggage which was a great help as a solo traveler. Definitely recommend.

The staff seems quite depressed as the general vibe in the hotel. As a solo travel I would have preferred a more enthusiastic and lively atmosphere as I’ve seen elsewhere in China. Otherwise clean facilities. The mattress is very thin so no the most comfortable I’ve seen.

Pro’s: - cheap (12 dollar per night) - bedrooms are clean - AC is good keeping it cool in hot summer (30+ degrees) - nightlight, charger, surface for things, curtain at the bed Con’s - it smells of cigarettes in hallways and toilets - toilets often stink of urine, **** or puke and are disgusting. I see cleaners every once in a while but I think they can just not keep up with the 400 customers living there - beds are hard - staff was not really helpful

Well when we first reached the hotel, the staff didn’t understand how to check in a foreigner who had applied for a visa in China and they were given a visa application slip )it’s given by the Chinese government so we can use it for anything within China since the passport has been given for getting visa). We had to go to the police station and have them understand that it’s that slip can also be used as identification. Also it was a little dirty. Other than that the staff were cooperative about some things and they were nice if they understood what we need so I’ll give them score for that. All and all it was one of the cheaper options and also its location was near floral village and I really like the vibe of that place.

🌱 Came for a rave and knew i wanted to be close to ArtZone 798 since it’s my favorite district in Beijing 🪲PROS - i had my own room, which was small but big enough for myself - amenities are clean, as well as the room - hairdryers are provided as well as hot/cold water from a water purifyer - close to my preferred district - if you forgot your toothbrush/towel or were in need of food and drinks - you were able to buy that from a vending machine in the hotel 🩸CONS - you were able to hear EVERY single noise that anybody made - during my stay, many of the guests were very rude and knocked on the walls just for fun - there is NO NOISE REGULATION!! People were blowdrying their hair ALL DAY. The only time it was quiet was from 3:30 - 4:30 a.m., i really wish they implement rules on being noisy at night ⭐️ ☀️ I would NOT book this Hotel again, simply because of the constant hairdryer use/noise, because i was barely able to sleep 😭

It’s a newly built hostel, everything is so clean and convenient, with your own big locker inside the room that comes with a key. Staff are available 24/7 at the front desk, they don’t speak English but are very friendly and supportive. Located on the 6th floor with metro and bike parking right outside the hotel. Absolutely 10/10 hostel

Great location and facilities Clean and friendly staff Only complaint: the room I booked “Sunshine Street-View Room (Shared Bathroom, Desk, Private Space) “ does not have street view- all the rooms from my understanding had window that opens to the corridor. So this description is incorrect. Other than that a comfortable stay

Very convenient for a short stay near the airport. Their pick-up/drop-off service is good, however, it was easy for me to book and use because I can speak Chinese and could call the driver, otherwise it would have been better to book a didi ride. The room has all the necessary things that you might need for a short stay, such as toothbrush, soap and shampoo. The bed is not very soft but still quite comfortable. I would have preferred better cleaning of the floors, but overall, the cleanliness is decent. The thing that I didn't really like is the insonorisation. Being that it is a hotel mainly used by people coming and going to the airport, even at night you can hear people in the corridors or in the rooms talking, shouting and carrying luggage.

The room is very clean, with no peculiar smell, and smoking is not allowed, so it's great that there's no bad odor in the room. The room is also quite spacious, the bed is comfortable, and there's no noise. I'll book a 7-day stay again next time.

This is truly one of the best cost-effective accomodations that I've thus far found in Beijing. The hygiene standards are excellent, the receptionists are very hospitable and willing to help. Also, the restaurant right next doors is fantastic (last picture, only 18 rmb). 10/10 would recommend staying here. The rooms are small, but they contain everything you need for a stay as a single traveller. There is also a railway station close by, as well as the subway, so a smart location as well(!). Plus points as I stayed at room 007, making me feel like a true James Bond 💯
