The location is conveniently close to malls and shops, making it ideal for those who enjoy shopping or dining out. However, we initially struggled to find it due to incorrect location pinning on the app, which caused some confusion. I highly recommend the owner address this issue to make it easier for future guests to locate the property. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and accommodating staff, who made us feel welcome from the start. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, equipped with essential amenities such as a TV, a hot and cold shower, and a functional air conditioning unit that added to our comfort. The ambiance of the location is also noteworthy—quiet and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Overall, I had a positive experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation to my friends. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The room is clean. Their parking is far but they have shuttle service which is okay

This is a pleasant place to stay in an excellent location in Davao, I can only recommend. The view on night market was just an added bonus.

The Strand dormitel is a quaint home away from home. Their solo room has the basic amenities you can expect. The staff are very courteous and respectful. Their breakfast of coffee and fresh bread is just right to start your day. I will definitely book a stay with them in my next Davao travel. Kudos to the team for a job well done.

The shower has low water pressure and it takes time to finish showering. The door swipe key is not working for the third time. My son went to the receptionist for 3rd time, and same problem, still not working. They give me the keys at the 4th time. The room is not sound proof. I can even hear the other room cellphone ringing and the alarm keeps on sounding.

Great location and friendly receptionist! Room was much better than expected (there were a few not-so-good reviews online) - big, clean and cold aircon. Toilet was also just nice size. Overall, great value given the price and location (10 mins walk to Poblacion and Roxas Night Market, but far enough for peace and quiet at night). Would stay here again if I'm in Davao. Only downside is, there is no free bag storage after you check out. If you want to deposit your bag, you will have to book another night with them.

The room is bunk type with own toilet which is convenient for friends or solo travelers not for families. It's worth the price. The menu is the same for days so I don't know if they are offering other menu for breakfast.

The owner is so generous and kind they allowa us to check in early because we arrive 8am and we have time to sleep they have food and drinks also and the place is peaceful and relaxing. Very good services.
