I stayed at Zoom Hotel during a long layover in Istanbul, and it was exactly what I needed — clean, comfortable, and super convenient.
The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were very kind and welcoming, even helping me arrange transport and giving helpful tips for making the most of my short time in the city.
The room was spotless and modern, with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom — ideal for getting some proper rest between flights.

When you arrive in Istanbul and Turkey, you’re immediately faced with the local SIM card policy, where all operators only sell 3-month tourist SIMs at a price almost 10 times higher than what local residents pay. This gives you an early sign that you might end up spending more on this trip than expected! In the markets, you’ll also notice that some of the prices you see aren’t always realistic or consistent.
Now let’s talk specifically about hotels. Prices are generally high, and unfortunately, most affordable options look nothing like their promotional pictures once you arrive. But let me share something very important about my experience at this hotel.
I booked a double room for 1,100 TL per night in a very safe and central neighborhood of Istanbul. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. To my surprise, the room looked exactly like the photos — clean, well-organized, with lively colors and all the essential amenities. The bathroom was spotless and very functional.
I highly recommend not wasting your money on overpriced hotels. I found this one with a very reasonable price and truly excellent conditions. An absolute gem!

It was located next to Hagia Sophia. Highly affordable. Reception was open at 1:00 am and they welcomed me. They give me luggage facility without any cost even I was checked out. One thing that can be improved was electric socket was not working with my bed.
Overall excellent experience. Would recommend solo travel like me.

Nice breakfast . Nice cafe . Night staff is clueless about hostel life. He came in at 2:45 am and turned the lights on and spoke in a regular volume voice to the guest who just arrived about the lockers and the beds etc
He woke at least three of us. At breakfast the girls complained he did the same to them around the same time and woke them up . Clueless
The apartments require an extra charge for cleaning. 80 euros. The glasses were dirty. The smell in the apartment is strange. Until you pay, they do not send you instructions for checking in. They did not contact you on WhatsApp until you paid for the cleaning. I had to connect trip.com support to get instructions for checking in. There is no bottled water in the apartment, we had a late check-in, so the stores nearby were not open, I was very thirsty. I had to look for where to buy water. For that kind of money, the service is a C.

I agree with the previous reviews. The location is great, close to the metro, the administrators are friendly, breakfast is a buffet, they will fry an egg if you wish. Toilet, shower on the floor. And of the minuses, Wi-Fi worked well only downstairs in the bar, in the room it practically did not work. The linen is of dubious cleanliness. The room is semi-dark, the lighting is poor. I think that if for one or two nights, then you can stay in this hostel.
it was excellent for me as the room size was just right, breakfast is the same type but delicious nonetheless, service was great and staff were very nice and polite, amazing honestly will book again even though it takes about an hour and a half to get to the touristy areas like hagia sophia for example.Shopping mall enhances convenience in purchases and food court within it has many affordable options.

It was a wonderful experience to stay in a beautiful hotel in this region of the most beautiful city in the world. The new staff at the hotel are doing their job well. I am very happy to discover such a hotel because I am sensitive about cleanliness. I will visit again and again from now on. The hotel is the best in the region.
Nice cozy hotel. The room has everything you need - generally a good bed, kettle, fridge, private bathroom. Quite good repair. I honestly thought for that kind of money there would be a closet with tired repairs, but no. Very nice staff, responsive, I really want to thank them for that. Modest breakfasts, but again for that price it's great that they exist. Incredibly delicious bread! Soundproofing, like in most hotels, leaves much to be desired, take earplugs and everything will be okay) I was satisfied, for that kind of money it's a great option. There are supermarkets nearby, a market on weekends. There are cafes. It's about 5 minutes uphill to the bus stop. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the center by public transport. The famous Issiklal Street is a 10-minute walk away, where all the shops, cafes and souvenirs are. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the embankment. In general, I recommend it, a good hotel and staff

GGuest UserThis was the first time I decided to stay in a hostel and I don't regret it. I stayed in the women's room, so I can only comment on this section. The location is perfect - 170 meters from the stop where shuttle buses from the airports stopped and 350 meters from the stop where bus 48N stopped, which goes to the airport metro line M11 (airport). The room is on the 3rd floor and the hostel employee Emrah helped to carry the bags. The staff was kind and helpful. I didn't use the kitchen, so I can't comment on anything. I wanted to stay 1 night, but ended up staying 2 because there was no point in moving anywhere else. A good place for women who are traveling alone and arrived to Istanbul for sightseeing and shopping.
AALEKSANDRNice authentic hotel in the historical part of Istanbul. The staff tries to fulfill every wish. Breakfast is monotonous, but quite tasty: hot sausages and something eggy, also hot, cucumbers, tomatoes, two types of olives. The room is warm and there is a place to eat. Among the shortcomings, we can note the small size of the room and very steep steps to the top (we lived on the last, fourth floor) with no elevator. But all this is compensated by an adequate price. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are authentic historical buildings and narrow streets, where we felt quite safe. Two steps from the place we ate in a good dining room, three steps away there was a nice small grocery store. The result is a solid four. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserGreat budget hotel near Istiklal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Friendly hosts, always ready to help. There is free coffee and tea plus a kitchen where you can cook and cook utensils. I stayed here not the first time and will come again. For the price, this is the best option in the area. Wi-Fi works fast - you can work safely. The bathroom only has soap. From the minuses to someone, sometimes they sit on the street near the guest house like ***************, but they don't bother anyone.
