5-Star Hotels in Trat Province, Thailand

Hotel design is so raw, I love it. Staff has a friendly smile and gives all the information I need regarding restaurants, day tours, transportation. Hotel location is a short walk to 2 beaches.

When you book room it only says it’s “Hillside. What it doesn’t say is that it’s across the busy (main) road. So in this case you no longer book room in tje hotel located at the beach. Tie “hillside” complex was completely unattended. No pool bar, nobody at the “reception” despite 100% occupancy and middle of high season. Location across the road made it unable for our early teens to reach room “for something” while we were on the beach. Every time somebody had to escort them. The extra paid “pool view” from our room was also completely dissatisfying. Once we complained about location of room during check in, after Front Office Manager checked source or our booking (Trip.com), she immediately rejected any complain saying that location of the room should be made clear by agent (it’s nowhere in the description when we booked the room). Beware booking room in this property - it is split in two separate complexes.

A very perfect resort, the hotel is in an excellent location, I like the villa design and decoration style, the important thing is to pay attention to details and quality, of course, environmental protection considerations; the staff is very friendly, and introduces the hotel facilities to guests when checking in. The beach is also perfect, and I want to rest and enjoy the beach and sunshine every day; the holiday home has its own dedicated swimming pool, and the bedroom and bathroom are designed and decorated to make the guests comfortable; the SPA service provided by the hotel is more expensive, but it is also enjoyable. There is a desire to sleep in the soothing music, and the technicians have high professional skills; the breakfast is very good. It happened to encounter a free kayaking activity. Since it was the first time to experience this sport, I started to adapt a little, but I soon became proficient. The staff led in front and was very responsible. The experience of this process was very good; the breakfast dining environment was comfortable, and you could also enjoy the beach view while eating breakfast; after checking out, the hotel car and service staff sent you to the pier of the island. We have spent 6 nights in Santhiya Tree Koh Chang, even though it's rainy season, we still LOVE it there! Design: we stay at the Pool Suite Water View, almost whole building made by carved wood, traditional Thai design and lots of character, looks very beautiful & classic. Staffs: very friendly and excellent service Pools: 60m long pool at the breakfast restaurant with some seats facing the pool & peaceful mountain view. Another pool right in front of the beach & close to the villas. Both pools clean & big. Santhiya Tree use pa kao ma thai sarong as beach towel, love it! Food: delicious buffet breakfast & lots of variety. Food & drinks at the Chantara Restaurant is high quality & very yummy. The duo who sings at the restaurant are brilliant singers, you won't get bored with their performance. Room: spacious & clean, lots of electric plugs & even beach bag for use. They burn lemongrass/ citronella oil in the bathroom to keep mozzies away & room smells good. Massage at their spa: very good & reasonable price, sound of the waves makes the massage so relaxing, must try. Shuttle bus to main street: every 2 hrs they can drop you or pick up from main street as there resort is not at the road side. Not sure if it's because of low season, hope the shuttle service can be more frequent. Thank you everybody at Santhiya Tree Koh Chang for the great service and smiles. Will definitely come back for another holiday and highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic place to stay! This beautiful place takes your stress away :) P.S. there's a small part of the road right outside the resort leading to the entrance is unsealed with lots of potholes, pretty bumpy for cars and their shuttle bus, suggest Santhiya Tree do something with it.

We've been coming to this hotel since it was names the Sea View. The new management has done some great things, but hopefully they'll continue their improvements. The service is stellar, from the moment you walk through the door, to the time you leave, everyone is helpful, professional, and happy to help. The beach is clean, the area is quiet, and it's never crowded. Ideal for anyone looking for a calm place to read and relax. Every room faces the ocean, and the views are stunning. The two areas of improvement are: Renovating the rest of building B. It seems that the first floor has been renovated, but floors two and three are still the same ones like before. Improving the breakfast. The previous owners offered the best breakfast on the island. The current breakfast seems a bit quickly put together, not befitting a place like the Sylvan. In spite of these two things, we would stay there again and again. I hope this helps.

BEST QUALITY! Memorable experience. Blows my mind, the hospitality and anticipation of the staff and services. Amazing new property with wonderful facilities and amazing staff, food, and view. Quiet, relaxing, zen. Close by to the Kai Bae street full of food but tucked away privately. Would 10/10 recommendation to a friend again and again! I’m in love with this place and will forever have a place in my heart. ❤️

***Booked a room by the sea, but when it was time to check in, I got another room*** ---The guard at the parking lot said something really bad---

I checked before ordering but there were no reviews, and the pictures were a bit distorted, but it said it would open in 2024. I was still hesitant about whether to order. In the end, because this was the only way to meet the needs of all of us, I ordered with the mentality of giving it a try. Two buildings, I felt guilty all the way, afraid of stepping on thunder. It was a surprise after arriving at the hotel. The hotel is located on the west coast of Koh Chang. It is very quiet. It consists of 5-6 small villas in total. It is absolutely the same as the picture, and even feels more comfortable. When we arrived, the landlord and his maid welcomed us. To our surprise, the landlady was actually ********* and could communicate in Chinese without any problem. After we checked in, we learned that the landlord had just taken over the place and said that we were actually the first on their network. As a single guest😄, we were provided with free use of all facilities in the hotel. We also prepared barbecue grills and other equipment before we went out to play. All our needs were met during our stay. Due to time constraints, our whole family only stayed for two nights, but we felt like we were at home for the whole two days. The landlady and her mother were really hospitable. One moment, they gave us cashew nuts that they made personally, and the other moment, they gave us cashew nuts. The local Qingyou will give each child a large piece of chocolate when he sees it. To be honest, the landlord treated us like family during these two days. It is really a treasure place. I will definitely stay at their house next time I go there. I sincerely recommend friends who go to Koh Chang to visit their house to experience it!

Such a good hotel, the score is so low ~ because I took my mother on this trip and wanted to go to some quiet resorts, this one was my first choice. Because it is far from the white sand beach, if you have a self-driving car on the island, I highly recommend you to live! ! Because it's so beautiful! ! The room is big and clean. Can't see the Chinese at all~ Stay in the hotel comfortably for two days, there are free boats to take you to the other side to play, and canoes for rent~ very good! ! It is highly recommended. I booked a big bed room, opened the door and found that the bed has to be 3 meters wide...very comfortable! Feeding the turtles every day, looking at the scenery, really comfortable. Without the hustle and bustle of the bustling area, since you are out on vacation, you always choose a few days away from the crowd. It takes 45 minutes to drive from the pier to the hotel~ Everyone should grasp the time~
