This hotel in Chongqing's Jiefangbei is so good, I didn't want to leave! It's super convenient – you can walk to Hongyadong right from the hotel. That really saved me a lot of hassle for transportation. The overall vibe is luxurious yet understated, and every corner is photo-ready. The decor details really impressed me. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows on the high floor offer an absolutely stunning view 🪟. The whole room is smart-controlled, which is very convenient. The soundproofing is also excellent, so I had a peaceful and sound sleep. There's a bathtub by the window, so you can soak while enjoying the night view of the mountain city. The bedding is super soft and comfortable against the skin 🛁. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. You *must* try the local *xiaomian* (noodles) – the flavor is incredibly authentic. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Plus, there's a gym if you want to get a light workout in after eating. The hotel's location is directly opposite Raffles City, making it super convenient to get to Raffles City, Chaotianmen Square, Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong. The room layout feels spacious, and it was quite clean. The high floor offered truly great views. A big thanks to the front desk staff, dressed in black uniform, who helped us arrange two adjacent rooms, which was perfect for looking after our family members traveling with us. The same staff member also quickly booked a night tour for us, and we made it just in time, plus we got a discount through the hotel booking, which was fantastic! It's so convenient to book tickets directly through the hotel! Ordering takeout to the hotel is also very easy, and the robot delivery was quick. I'd definitely book here again.

Great location, dinner was good, but let down by malfunctioning hot water in the shower in 2 or the 3 rooms we booked.  We had only ice cold water from the shower. Thankfully it was rectified. In one of our rooms (2005) the shower stall glass sliding door had come off the rails, and could East have fallen on guests, causing serious injury from the weight of the door and broken glass. The check-in staff was very helpful, but the staff at breakfast on 6 Jan was quite unhelpful, and in fact started to argue about the prior breakfast arrangement our tour guide made with the hotel the previous day. Rather than saying she didn’t know and would check, she unilaterally decided the options were wanted (and had prepared the hotel for through our guide’s arrangements the previous day) were not available.

The hotel's location is great, and transportation is very convenient. The river-view room offers an expansive and pleasant view. There are many room types; our family tatami room accommodated 5 people, which is perfect for family trips. Even the elderly found the firm beds comfortable. The hygiene is excellent, and the robot delivery service is quite convenient. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again.

I really need to vent about the service here. First, the good points: The location, ambiance, design, decor, and breakfast were all excellent. It's a beautiful, centuries-old building, entered through a side door next to a church – truly a hidden gem in the city. Everything started off wonderfully. Then, I was shocked by the service process. We had booked an activity and dinner a day in advance, but the staff member who was supposed to guide us the next day had no idea about it. It was my birthday, and I had informed the hotel beforehand. I appreciate them offering a complimentary birthday cake. However, I watched the employee walk for several minutes in the rain without an umbrella, carrying the cake. This meant the cake was exposed to the rain for that entire time. When it arrived in the room, it looked exactly like the picture – soggy and ruined. What should have been a nice bonus turned into a rather disappointing birthday memory. It feels like the staff training is only halfway done. They have all the right facilities, which makes the poor service even more regrettable.

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout. Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair. Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, with most of the famous attractions and sightseeing spots nearby, making it very convenient to explore the city. The reception staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Our room was in good condition, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bedsheets and towels were spotless, and we were especially impressed that the room had a special towel disinfection machine, which gave us extra confidence in their cleanliness standards. Another great advantage was the free luggage storage service, which was very convenient before our departure. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing.

The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. One of the highlights was the amazing view, especially at night. It really made the stay feel extra special. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and any questions I had quick and easy. The location is another big advantage. It’s conveniently located near Jiefangbei and within easy reach of Chongqing’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with spacious rooms, beautiful views, great service, and a fantastic location. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing.

Moxy Hotel is located right in the heart of Jiefangbei, just a few minutes' walk from Hongyadong and the Yangtze River Cableway. All the best shopping and dining spots are nearby, making getting around super convenient. The rooms have a trendy industrial design, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer amazing views of the Yuzhong city skyline. Everything was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The revolving restaurant on the 29th floor is uniquely designed with a cool retro-meets-trendy vibe, and the hotel's high-altitude views are simply stunning. The front desk and room service staff were all incredibly warm and attentive.
