Indigo Hotels in Chengdu

What truly impressed me about this hotel was how it seamlessly wove Chengdu's local essence into every detail. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by copper coin chandeliers inspired by 'Jiaozi' (ancient Chinese currency), gilded carved walls, and even the room key was shaped like a copper coin – it felt like staying in an art museum where you could spend the night. The lobby was adorned with ubiquitous Shu embroidery and bamboo weaving, subtly embedding the spirit of Tianfu culture into every corner, inviting guests to explore and appreciate it at their leisure. The hardware facilities are incredibly impressive. My high-floor room offered a direct view of the Twin Towers, allowing me to overlook the city skyline right from my bed. The night view was particularly stunning, with the dazzling lights of the Financial City fully visible. Dyson hairdryers, Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware, and capsule coffee machines were standard. The first round of the mini-bar was complimentary, and the toiletries were high-end Shanghai Tang fragrances. From the bath amenities to the bedding, every detail was meticulously thought out. The 24-hour gym boasts a full set of new Technogym equipment. The space is open and airy, and stretching in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows while watching the CBD morning light after a run was incredibly stress-relieving. The heated swimming pool is also worth a try; it's quiet with few people, and the water quality is impeccably maintained. The rooftop bar was an unexpected delight. The bartender crafted custom cocktails based on my mood and preferences. Sitting in the outdoor booth with a drink, watching the Twin Towers light show, created an absolutely incredible atmosphere. The hotel also features well-designed and practical meeting rooms and multi-functional halls, making it ideal for business travelers. Located right downstairs is Jiaozi Park. Despite being in the heart of the Financial City, there's a unique sense of tranquility amidst the bustle. Taking an evening stroll along the lake, watching the city lights gradually illuminate, provided a rare balance of vibrancy and serenity. This will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Chengdu.
