"I booked a twin room, and it was spacious enough for two adults and one child traveling together. While some say the facilities are old, the bathroom has actually been renovated. The lighting is bright, and there's a vanity stool. The shower is a bit small but acceptable.
The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food is quite good. It would be even better if they offered some local Shanghai specialties.
The best part is definitely the location. Our room had a view of the 'Three-piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), and it was very convenient to get to the Pudong Art Museum and the East Building of the Shanghai Museum. Plus, there was plenty of parking.
There are two areas for improvement: First, there's no phone holder in the bathroom. Second, the room service doesn't have delivery robots. There's a robot in the lobby, but it mostly just looks cute. I asked for slippers, and it took an hour to deliver them. We even offered to pick them up ourselves, but it insisted on delivering them. I mean, isn't the whole point of robots in hotels to free up human staff?"
