"This hotel, newly opened in April 2026, boasts brand new facilities with no lingering renovation smells. The rooms feature smart controls, a zero-pressure mattress, a mini-fridge, a heated towel rack, and are fully equipped. The breakfast offers a rich and clean variety, including freshly baked waffles. What truly impressed me was the service: I accidentally left something behind when checking out, and the hotel staff kindly mailed it back to me free of charge. The front desk lady was warm and attentive, even offering a complimentary bottle of water upon departure. The location is also incredibly convenient, right next to the subway entrance. New hotel, excellent service, and they even helped mail back a lost item – five-star review! 🌟"

"The room was spotless, and the bedding was excellent. The design showed great attention to detail and high aesthetic taste. The raised entrance and sunken bed area created a unique space. The ceiling, with its clever block-like design, not only increased the sense of height but also cleverly disguised the beams, making the visual effect very distinctive and memorable. All toiletries were provided, and there was a mini-fridge. The XiaoDu smart assistant allowed voice control for all lights, air conditioning, TV, and curtains. They even provided complimentary snacks and drinks, and free self-service coffee was available in the lobby. The public gym and 'West Lake Room' (I'm assuming this is a special room or lounge area) were also free to use! It's not a 5-star hotel, but it offers a near 5-star experience! It's a shame I forgot to take photos of the interior. I genuinely recommend it! The hotel's location is fantastic, within walking distance of West Lake. Getting to Lingyin Temple is super convenient with just one bus ride. For friends from out of town, remember to bring some change in case QR code payments aren't convenient. After coming down the mountain, there are shared bikes available, making it feel like you're cycling through a pristine forest – a fantastic experience! 👍"

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and the linens were pristine. All the facilities worked perfectly. The breakfast was nutritious and delicious with a wide variety of options, which I particularly enjoyed. Overall, our stay was exceptional, absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it."

"I came here for a vacation with my parents and children. Before arriving, I saw some negative reviews and was a bit nervous, but after getting here, I realized it was absolutely worth the price. Facilities: All the necessary amenities and services are available. There are many things for children to play with, such as rock climbing, archery, basketball, and swimming. We barely had time to try them all. They also host various activities, and I saw the kids participating happily. Environment: The Club Med environment is truly impeccable. As it's a newly opened hotel, everything is very new. Air purifiers are provided, and the toiletries are the same reliable brand as always. Service: There's really nothing to fault about the service. From the beginning, when I accidentally booked the wrong room and contacted the hotel through Ctrip, they responded promptly. On the way to the hotel, staff members greeted us with smiles. Before check-in, the hotel's concierge added me on WeChat. A special mention goes to Cling; we could basically communicate any issues via WeChat at any time. We happened to arrive during a typhoon passing through Hangzhou. Before our stay, they politely inquired about our check-in plans and informed us that we could cancel without penalty. Check-in itself was quick and smooth. Cling arranged the entire itinerary very well and even informed us about party start times. It's worth mentioning that breakfast was indeed excellent, and we also had the buffet dinner, which was priced as expected. Breakfast had everything you could want, and dinner also offered a good variety. The surrounding area is also very convenient; you can go tea picking, there's a town within walking distance, and it's easy to order takeout for milk tea, coffee, or go out to eat."

"Staying at the newly opened Shangri-La Jen, my experience exceeded expectations! Jen struck me as very modern, a complete departure from the 'slightly rigid' impression I usually have of Shangri-La (even the lobby scent was different). The hotel facilities were excellent in detail: the air conditioning was super quiet (I'm very sensitive to noise), and the cooling effect in summer was absolutely spot-on (a little too cold, even). The one-touch hot and cold water in the room was also very convenient, saving me from having to boil kettles. It's a shame there was no coffee machine. The bathroom was spacious, and the upgraded deluxe twin room had a large bathtub. I was very satisfied with the gym facilities; the privacy details in the changing rooms were truly impressive. Although not large, the space was very well laid out. The studio could use a few more pieces of equipment, and it would be nice to have bananas and hot coffee available. The outdoor pool would be perfect with a jacuzzi. However, the transparent natural light made me feel very comfortable, and the water quality was excellent! Special praise goes to all the staff: Clover (I hope I'm spelling that right) at the front desk was kind enough to assist me for two days and was very responsible, following up on many small issues. The gym staff were also very friendly. Perhaps consider adding a welcome drink or a self-service cafe & tea in the lobby. Overall, I'm very satisfied! The surrounding area is still under development, but it's only about 2-3 km by taxi to West Lake. I actually quite like the current quiet and uncrowded surroundings, and I slept very well for both nights.👍"
