Because I mainly wanted to play around the West Lake, I chose a B&B hotel that was close to the West Lake and surrounding attractions. The result was beyond my expectations. The environment is very beautiful, the service quality is also excellent, and they are responsive to every request. When I saw someone at home bringing medicine, I sent a small medicine box, and when I saw someone washing socks, I sent several pairs of socks. The meals are also very good. Breakfast is mainly noodles, porridge, and soy milk. Other specialties are different every day and taste very good. This is my second stay and I still like the atmosphere here. After going to Lingyin Temple, I went back to the house to have a cup of tea and take a nap. I looked at the quiet bamboo forest path and listened to the occasional bells. It was very peaceful. Occasionally, I looked at the people coming and going and listened to their stories. Your own mood ~ Hahaha, it’s also a different experience. Recommended!

Great location to visit the West Lake, easy metro access from/to the train station, staff is very kind and patient, they went out of their way to help/accommodate me - the language barrier wasn't a problem! While there are signs of wear and tear and some finishings are poorly executed, the design remains esthetically pleasing, the room is quiet, the place is clean, the bed is confortable, the water is hot and the pressure is good. They serve coffee and tea in the morning and you can get breakfast pastries in the bakeries nearby or in the big mall next to the hotel. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and cozy here and recommend booking this place! Please note the correct name is Color Story hotel, and so that is the sign/address you should look for.

The environment is very good and clean. There is a little Mimi at the front desk who is very good-tempered and rubbing easily. The location is just a few steps away from the Beigaofeng Cableway and 7-8 minutes walk from Lingyin Temple. There are also many restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. If you drive, parking in the area will be charged separately, but there is a discount for staying. The next day when the dragon raised its head, there was a license plate restriction, so we went out in front. The boss also helped to report it, which was super good.

The hotel is in an excellent location. I chose Maojiabu to avoid the crowds during the Qingming Festival. There are few people and beautiful scenery. There is a bus stop at the door, which is convenient for going to West Lake and Lingyin. There are many restaurants nearby, and you can choose whatever you like.
I stayed in a lake view room on the 2nd floor. There is a small terrace next to it, and the lake view outside the window is amazing. The bed is very comfortable and hard, but the sofa is too soft. The TV is super large and can be projected.
The breakfast variety can also start at 7 o'clock. After eating, take a taxi to Lingyin East, which is more than 2 kilometers away. There are few people early.
Some of the hotel facilities are a bit old, and the clerk said that they are gradually being improved. The bathroom has a bit of smell, which is not satisfactory. I give it a 5-point praise. It can be seen that the hotel is doing a good job.

Beautiful location on a hill in the middle of the tea fields, the retreat has a great location overlooking Longjing village and access to walking trails.
Room is very beautiful and spacious.
Bonus points to resident dog Xiao-huang who would accompany you on walks up the hill.
Remember to contact the hotel beforehand so they can help you with luggage up the steps when you arrive (you do need to walk quite a lot of steps up to the hotel!).

The room was pretty good. The staff called and added WeChat one day in advance, sent the specific location and how to get a taxi, and also sent recommended tourist routes and delicious restaurants. It was already evening when we went there, and they also gave us scones and tea from their own cafe (I must praise them, the scones are delicious, I took them to the botanical garden and ate them sitting on a chair, the sweetness was just right and it was very fragrant). There is also unlimited refills of Hupao Spring water (slightly duller in taste than other waters), the pillows and bed are also soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The staff are very enthusiastic and will say hello when they see me. I am a socially anxious person and can only pretend to play with my phone. They also gave me Basque cake the night before I left, which was really delicious and rich (it turns out that the desserts in Hangzhou are not ordinary rolls)

Choosing to stay here is a luxurious, peaceful, and pleasant enjoyment. The early communication with the front office manager, ********* girl Zixuan, was pleasant and warm. From the first day when we drove to the hotel gate, every staff member remembered my name. Entering the hotel lobby, we were greeted by our duty manager GarySun, who had prepared a bouquet of white roses and my favorite lotus bouquet and arranged everything. Guest relations Miss Lulu took us to the room. The luggage had been placed on the luggage rack... The room was in the style of the old money, and it was well maintained. The inner and outer terraces were bright and full of green. In the evening, the lotus pond was moonlit. It was quiet and beautiful. The disinfection was in place and there was not a single mosquito. I admire it! Mr. Bob and Miss Penny, the manager of the Black Pearl Sands Hall, wrote handwritten greeting cards, and I liked the small gifts very much. This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media.
The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away.
Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful.
Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao.
Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.

AAnonymous User1. Convenient location. Although it is in the scenic area, you can get there directly by taxi. Next to it is the helium balloon check-in point. The back door leads to the snack street and the entrance to the scenic spot. It is convenient for eating, drinking and having fun.
2. The boss and the housekeeper are very considerate. Before checking in, I added the contact information and sent the way to the store. There were fresh fruits in the room when I arrived. If you want to go to the entrance of the park, you can always find the housekeeper to pick you up with a shuttle bus. He also enthusiastically introduced the scenic spots, routes, restaurants, etc. The performances in the evening were recommended by the boss.
3. The store is beautiful. There is a row of large bookshelves, you can browse them at will, and the courtyard is brewing tea around the stove. The atmosphere on a rainy day is really great.
Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel experience~

GGuest UserThe location is very good, with a panoramic view of the mountains and a quiet environment. The housekeeper service is considerate and thoughtful. The three-bed room is large enough for a family of three. The room is well soundproofed, with air conditioning and floor heating. The facilities are complete. There are fruits, snacks and good night sweet soup every day. The breakfast is a set meal, and you can choose one of the four staple foods. It is very good. It is also convenient to eat near the B&B, and you can take the shuttle bus. Because it is inconvenient to go to the public restaurant for meals with pets, the housekeeper delivers them to the room every morning and evening. Thank you very much.

TThe Traveling WilburyA very disappointing hotel. The decor and the staff are very nice, and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast buffet iso-so but adequate. My room has a.great view of the river, is very comfortable and ”clean looking”. This is where it's disappointing. The spa tub had no power and water leaked all over the floor, the welcome gift came the next day, despite a long huge balcony there' are no chairs (or table), no min-ibar to speak of (despite being listed in room amenities), couldn't find anything if room service is offered, and.to top it all off, three restaurants are listed but one is only open (for breakfast). They do offer junk food vending machines throughout the hotel and there.is a small area for a cafe, limited menu of ”fast food” and Starbucks coffee. Oh, well. I will still return again to Hangzhou but not to this hotel.

TTwo traveling monkeysThis hotel is with less than 10 minutes walking from the subway station. The hotels is deviated in two building and the building I stayed in had no elevator. The cleaning of the room was not so good, still lot of hairs on the floor. TThe price is good but the rooms are really small, but it’s okey for what you pay, many other places is way more expensive. Even though the room was small the bathroom was big and the pressure in the shower was really good!! I would come back again!

The boss and staff are young people, the atmosphere is very good, and the food is particularly good!
Going with friends, the coffee is delicious, the barbecue is large and fresh, the army hot pot is very authentic, will choose next time!
PS, the noodle restaurant recommended by the staff does not choose the entrance, we went to breakfast, 6 pieces of fried noodle soup noodles are particularly delicious, the wontons are also very delicious, I have not seen such a high cost-effective place in the surrounding area for a long time!

The rooms were spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable and soft, the bathroom facilities were brand new and clean, the location was excellent, and the surrounding dining and shopping were convenient. The details were thoughtful. It was very cost-effective and highly recommended!
