"This hotel catches you a little off guard. When the car pulled up I thought I was in the wrong place. It gives very strong Air bnb/bed and breakfast vibes because that’s what it is. The ppl that run the place are very kind. The owner I assume, was very kind and very friendly. He went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Even gave me cold medicine as I was struggling adjusting to Chinese fall weather and had a bad cold. The young man that worked evenings helped me order food and was a life saver because I had no way else to eat. The breakfast was minimal but tasty. Dumplings, boiled eggs and I think congee. I don’t like congee so I didn’t eat any. And I was always greeted with a smile from the lady cooking. The coffee isn’t great. Instant packets, very blah and nothing to drink really except water. There isn’t much nearby to do, it’s not walkable and so I would not stay if you’re looking for night life or convenience. But it’s a nice relaxing, quiet place to stay with a very comfy bed, nice tub, close enough to the airport and good shower pressure. I would definitely stay again."

"Highly recommended! This guesthouse is right in Qibao Ancient Town, making it super convenient for exploring. It's also very close to Hongqiao Airport, about 5-6 kilometers away, a 15-minute taxi ride. There are subway stations and malls within a 15-20 minute walk. The ancient town offers all sorts of authentic Shanghai breakfast, lunch, and dinner options – tangyuan, fried dough sticks, xiaolongbao, local cuisine, and teahouses, you name it! 😉 Key highlights: The guesthouse's interior is beautifully decorated and very clean. The common area with a tea table and bar is perfect for enjoying tea or a casual drink. The staff here are even better than five-star hotel service! They help with luggage upon arrival and departure, clean the room daily, and even assist with laundry. My family left sunglasses in the room, and the staff helped mail them back. My elderly father enjoys morning tea, and the staff even prepared hot water at the tea table every morning for him. The family room has an adorable Egyptian god theme! We stayed for four nights and were extremely satisfied! The value for money is much better than hotels in the city center. This is definitely my top choice for a trip to Shanghai, and I'll be back."

"1⃣️The room is pretty good, clean and tidy, the customer service is also friendly, and there is pick-up and drop-off service 2⃣️The toilet is really too small. There is no separation between dry and wet areas. There is also a problem with the design of the toilet curtain. Do you need someone to close the door and pull the curtain? 3⃣️The TV is placed under the cabinet? I really don't understand it at all 4⃣️Why did you buy the coffee table so small? I can't put anything on it, so I can only pile it all on the sofa? Summary: There are advantages and disadvantages. The room is small and the design is really problematic, but the service is pretty good."

"We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to Disneyland, which was very convenient for our trip. They picked up us from hotel to Disneyland and also back to hotel after Disneyland. The location is great, and the staff was attentive and helpful. However, the room we were initially assigned had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was a downside. Fortunately, when we reported the issue, the staff quickly offered us an alternative room, which we really appreciated. I would recommend that the hotel take extra care to prevent this from happening to other guests. Overall, we had a good experience, but the hotel could improve in ensuring rooms are always fresh and odor-free."

"I was on a business trip to Shanghai, and after I finished my work, I specifically looked for accommodation in Qibao Ancient Town. This hotel is right inside the ancient town, so the location is excellent. It was convenient to head back after exploring the town in the evening. The room was spacious and decorated in an antique style. I chose a riverside room, and the balcony was huge. There's also a coffee shop on the first floor of the hotel, which was quite nice."

"A truly thoughtful stay. From the moment I booked, the front desk proactively called to ask about my needs and kindly suggested I could 'look before deciding,' to them offering me a bottle of water for the road at checkout – these small touches far exceeded my expectations for a serviced apartment hotel. The service was professional yet incredibly personable, and the room was clean and comfortable. If I ever visit Minhang again, this will be my first choice. (P.S. The hotel's design and spatial decor were quite tasteful, and the decorative paintings particularly impressed me, adding an artistic touch to the entire experience.) Enjoyable stay, highly recommended."

"There was a bit of a smell in the lobby as soon as I entered, and the equipment looked a bit old. The service guy was not very enthusiastic. After checking in, the room was on the third floor without an elevator. The service guy asked expressionlessly if he needed help with the luggage. A suitcase, a backpack, and a satchel. As a woman, others took the initiative to help me. Talking about room equipment, the TV cannot be turned on, the bedside table lamp is broken and does not light up, one screw is missing from the clothes hanger, and another one is loose and shaky. In short, it is not as good as what I saw in the reviews. The service is not enthusiastic and the facilities are old."

"The hotel is located 15 minutes away from Disneyland by a DİDİ ride in the middle of a farm land. If you are driving, you need to have very good driving skills as the road passes by 2 potentially dangerous narrow bridges. However, once you reach the hotel safely, you would be surprised by how good the hotel looks. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating helping with the luggage and they even changed our room as it was smelling cigarettes. However, maybe the room was not prepared or all the other rooms are like that, there are bees inside, both dead and alive. Despite all of these, it is a great get away 🏃♂️ lace from the hustle and bustle of Shanghai with a short distance to Disneyland. They also provide 1 free DİDİ ride from hotel to Disneyland. It’s a family friendly hotel and there was not much noise at night. If the hotel management can ensure a proper road to the hotel, we would stay there again despite the bees 🐝"

In the radiant eastern part of Shanghai, the "Magic City", and within the tranquil corner of Chuansha Town in Pudong New Area, SHIFANG Nanyang Garden Villa shines like a warm pearl steeped in time, quietly blooming amid the lush greenery at No. 441 Tangchuan Road. This place is never merely a resting haven for travelers, but a dreamy encounter where European romance and Oriental elegance collide beautifully—every breath of air here is filled with the essence of a refined life. Centered on European style, every detail of the villa’s design embodies exquisite craftsmanship. The moment you step inside, it feels like traversing time into a medieval European manor: carved window lattices filter sunlight into soft fragments, gently casting them onto the patterned carpet; vintage classical furniture stands quietly, with the elegance of accumulated time etched in its wood grain; even the glow of a brass wall lamp in the corner subtly outlines the romantic rhythm of the space. The villa’s spaciousness never feels empty, and its warmth is never lacking in style. Well-equipped facilities are subtly hidden behind elegant decorations, allowing those tired from the hustle of the city to instantly escape into this "secluded haven amid bustle". The interior decor is truly a feast for the eyes: velvet curtains in Morandi tones gently complement the solid wood wall panels; vintage oil paintings echo modern art ornaments harmoniously; even the patterns on the cushions and the texture of the tablecloths are carefully considered. It not only reproduces the sophistication of European classicism but also embraces the comfort loved by modern people. Beneath this splendor lies the owner’s pursuit of ultimate quality—not cold luxury, but tangible warmth and sincere care for every guest. The owner’s hospitality is like a wool blanket warmed by the winter sun—unobtrusive yet incredibly heartfelt: they will ask in advance about your arrival time and prepare warm tea; they will proactively share tips for visiting Shanghai Disneyland, even generously passing on tricks to avoid long queues. Most pleasantly, the villa boasts an advantageous location—it is within easy reach of Shanghai Disneyland. Whether it’s families heading to the fairy-tale kingdom with their children or young people embarking on a dreamy trip with friends, a short walk or drive is all it takes to start a joyful journey. What’s more, guests staying for three consecutive nights can enjoy exclusive "worry-free" services: not only airport transfers but also daily scheduled shuttles to and from Disneyland. There’s no need to worry about routes or transportation, allowing every moment of your trip to be immersed in convenience and comfort. SHIFANG Nanyang Garden Villa is never just a "place to stay". It is your "temporary home" in Shanghai, a "warm prelude" to your Disneyland adventure, and a carrier of memories filled with beauty, dreams, and warmth. Here, the shadow of the carved window lattice in the morning light is worth capturing; the warm milk handed over by the owner at night is worth cherishing; even the light left on at the door when you return from Disneyland holds a reassuring tenderness. Welcome to this place filled with love and dreams. Every stop here is a solemn tribute to the beauty of life; every stay will become an extraordinary moment that brings a smile to your face whenever you recall it.

"My best friend and I booked this guesthouse for our Disneyland trip. It's absolutely gorgeous, looks exactly like the photos, and is perfect for taking pictures! The host arranged a dedicated shuttle service to Disneyland, which was super convenient. And the homemade congee served for breakfast was incredibly fragrant and delicious!"
