Joya Hotels in Shanghai

This hotel has a unique ambiance, perfect for hosting clients. My friends highly recommended it, especially for those who appreciate Chinese-style decor. The stay was very satisfying, and the surrounding transportation is also convenient.

I took my child to Shanghai for a three-day, three-night trip during the May Day holiday. I looked at a bunch of hotels around Lujiazui, and this one had the fewest negative reviews. It's normal for hotels to have some bad reviews, but I mainly focus on cleanliness and environment in those reviews. This hotel had many comments praising its cleanliness and good environment. I paid 438 to upgrade to a river view room, and the night view from the window was truly delightful, with various cruise ships passing by on the river. The vanity area in the room was very spacious, which I particularly liked, and it was quite clean. The service was also good. The only downside is that it's 2 kilometers from the subway station. Thankfully, our activities were limited to Huangpu District, so we mostly took taxis. However, if it were closer to the subway station, we might have gone to Baoshan District to try Doudouwa (a restaurant), haha. The breakfast was a bit different from what I expected; it felt more like breakfast at a 400-500 yuan hotel, not a 1000+ yuan one. Everything else was great, and I would definitely stay here again next time.

Found a real gem of a hotel! My experience here was absolutely fantastic 💯. The room was spacious and bright, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, providing great privacy and making me feel very secure. The shower stall was super roomy, and the button design was incredibly ergonomic and user-friendly. It even had motion-sensing lights, which were convenient and thoughtful for nighttime use. The view from the window was also amazing, a real treat for the eyes. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

The hotel is conveniently located right by Zhouqiao Old Street, very easy to find. Across the road are Huilongtan Park and Jiading Confucius Temple, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Jiading Museum and Qiuxia Garden. We had breakfast and then spent the morning exploring the free attractions nearby – the location is truly excellent. Upon check-in, we received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was new and spacious, and the bathroom was particularly roomy. It would have been perfect if there was a bathtub by the window! When we checked out, we were even given coffee as a farewell gift. A big thank you to the handsome Xiao Shao! The hotel has a courtyard and a long corridor, which I believe are preserved from the original old building. There's also a citron tree in the courtyard with many fruits. In the morning, I saw a pile of what looked like fallen fruits in the restaurant.
