The shower water was hot enough. The minor issues like a bit of peeling paint on the ceiling and poor sound insulation from the windows were tolerable. After requesting a change, the front desk attendant generously upgraded me to a sea-view king room, which I really appreciated! (Though it was dark from check-in to check-out, so I sadly didn't get to see the Pudong sea clearly.) A few interesting notes: The hotel's official name is 'Haiweis', but their sign outside says 'Beike Hotel', and locals sometimes call it 'Qingshupi Hotel' (Green Bark Hotel). Also, lamb lovers will be in luck because the hotel lobby shares the first floor with a lamb restaurant. While the downstairs area can be a bit noisy, the hotel's accommodation floors upstairs are quiet."
