Lakeshore Hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh is located in Gulshan District. It is a well-known hotel in the local area. The hotel has complete hardware facilities, including a gym, swimming pool, lobby bar, restaurant, etc. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful to foreign tourists in solving various problems. I am very happy.
Location is okay but very busy traffic on the street.
Front counter staff member was not friendly because at the time of check in he asked me what time I will be checking out which was not relevant at that time. Then I got a phone call at 9.50pm asked me again what time I will check out.
Secondly the room cleaner left two large rubbish bags in front of my room which was not acceptable.
My stay at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the city. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail made me feel truly pampered. The breakfast spread was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the rooftop pool was the perfect place to unwind. The hotel’s location in Gulshan made it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and exceptional service!
This is my first trip to Dhaka, it's pleasant to stay here. All staffs are friendly, helpful and mostly can speak fluent English. Their front desk, security, room service cleansing guy, driver, waiter in restaurant all of them are super nice.
Will keep staying here next trip.
The hotel service attitude is very good. The room I stayed in on the first night was a bit cold, and the service staff and cleaning staff took the initiative to help find an empty room to change. There are many types of breakfast, the taste and standard are good, and there are a lot of fruits. I will choose it again next time I go on a business trip.
Amari has a mixed review and depends on the room you get.
First, the good:
Security is excellent. You feel safe.
You’re in gulshan. Amenities nearby.
Hot water pressure is good.
Courteous staff.
Good bar - but dusty sofa due to outdoor.
The bad
The road into amari is frequently jammed. A short turn in to the one way street leading to amari can take 5-10 mins.
There is an odd smell in the common areas. Don’t know if it’s musty smell or sewage leak.
Pick better rooms. The double bed version isn’t as comfortable as the king bed version with larger sofa set.
Shower leaks out to common area due to old sealing of shower room. Floods and wets the outside.
Shower head needs repair. Leaky
Tv damage. It had line streaks on the tv. Poor maintenance.
Floor has a dusty feeling.
Overall I won’t stay again.
The hotel is located in Gushan 2, close to the airport, convenient for travel, spacious and clean rooms, warm and friendly service staff, and a restaurant and swimming pool on the top floor. It is a good choice to stay here when you come to Dhaka.
Pros:
1.) Below USD130 for a king deluxe room and room is big.
2.) comfort mattress
3.) key card access to floor
4.) rooftop swim pool and jacuzzi
5.) 24 hours gym is quite complete but lack of storage cabinet
6.) sauna and steam room is just 1 floor below gym and swimming pool
7.) restaurant ala-carte food is good
8.) buffet is good but need more variety towards Chinese/ SEA cuisine
9.) did not see any mosquito inside hotel but I got few bites in my room, no idea where to mosquitoes come from
10.) in room facilities is perfect
Cons:
1.) shower water pressure is not strong, but the shower at rooftop swimming pool is strong!
2.) suggest to adjust the lighting control for 1 touch off/ on all
3.) curtain is heavy, suggest to install a motorised curtain
4.) complimentary buffet breakfast every day same, suggest to provide more different variety at least put up a noodle station
5.) don’t have groceries store within nor nearby hotel premise
6.) a welcome fruits basket will be perfect for long stay guests
7.) a bar at rooftop swimming pool will be good
8.) bar at level 16 don’t know how to get in, a dark glass blocked the entrance.
Please do not arrange the Old decoration room of each trip,🇨🇳Guests please remember to note that they want to stay in the newly renovated room, otherwise the hotel will always cheat guests

KKAMRUZZAMAN MOHAMMADThis hotel is in city center which is best for location, large Central Park , university , hospital all are around it, international standard breakfast was amazing. Resturent has variety of food at dinner buffet, living conform with large room. Bathtub was fantastic. Reception and housekeeping personnel was carrying. I live to live there again.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located in the center of Dhaka. It seems that nice hotels are often located in areas away from the center, so if you have business near the center, such as sightseeing, I thought this was a very good location considering the terrible traffic congestion in the city.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a secluded roadside in Gushan District, half an hour's drive from the airport. It has ten floors. It's not big, but it's clean and quiet. The staff are very enthusiastic and everyone serves with a smile. There is a restaurant on the 8th floor, which provides local meals and the taste is acceptable. The 9th floor is a gym and a small infinity swimming pool.
