Perfect hotel in every thing , early check-in and free upgrade to marina room , friendly and professional stuff in every department ,the most clean hotel I had ever seen. You can't get better view than Pickalbatros Citadel ever. I met a serious problem in check in after the cheerful welcoming form every one of stuff. The problem was that my reservation rate from trip.com was not for Egyptian people and I have to pay a difference fees to the hotel about 15 USD, Mr. Mahmoud and Mr. Mohamed Rashed from the reservation team told me that issue and asked me to contact with the customer support team of trip.com . Once I contacted trip.com customer support team they solved the problem in only 5 mins and covered the difference for me. I payed the hotel and trip.com compensate them for me. Thank trip.com & Pickalbatros Citadel. I will come again for sure, and my next reservations will be by trip.com as a trusted site.

The room conditions are very average, the food is mainly based on Egyptian food culture, the highlight of the hotel is that the corals on the beach are very beautiful, you don't need to go out to sea for snorkeling, you can walk to snorkel and see turtles and dugongs, the price of Ctrip is a bit expensive, it is not recommended to place an order with Ctrip

I believe the Meraki hotel is allegedly the No. 1 party central hotel in Hurghada. They have a great entertainment team who makes sure there are endless parties. The staff is always attentive and offers great help when needed. There’s one special person who I MUST give a special shout out to, and that’s Naglaa from the wellness and spa team, she is always smiling and serving an incredibly welcoming energy and has been the kindest to us. Others incredible staff includes Osama from front desk; Shady from the Munchery buffet; and Dasha from the entertainment team too. My favorite spot in the whole hotel is definitely the shisha tent, all of their staff were extremely nice, polite and efficient. The only side note I have is the Greek restaurant, although the staff there is attentive, the food can also use an upgrade, other than that, I would love to come back to this hotel in the future, perhaps with a bigger group so we could enjoy the parties more.

We had a wonderful stay! The facilities were clean and the staff were super helpful, especially Zekra at the front desk who made sure that we got neighboring rooms and that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Checking in and out was also handled very smoothly. We are looking forward to our next stay already.

Overall, it is a very good resort hotel. We stayed there during the Spring Festival. The room was very large and clean. We chose the half-board buffet restaurant, which had good breakfast and dinner. There are also other restaurants that we can choose at our own expense. There are many activities for entertainment. We basically played tennis in the morning and went to the beach to snorkel, swim, or dig sand in the afternoon. You can see the coral reefs by walking down the beach in front of the hotel. It is very convenient and you don't need to go to the pier. It is also very shallow, which is friendly for those who can't swim. The water was not too cold during the Spring Festival. Another very touching point is that it happened to be a child's birthday during our stay. The hotel sent a birthday cake and decorated the room. We were not told about this in advance, which gave us a surprise. Overall, the Spring Festival vacation was very happy and I recommend it to Chinese people.

Fabulous stay half board stay. Kids loved it! The bathroom was spacious with dressing, cupboards and drawers. The room was on a smaller scale for 2 adults and 2 children. One child shared the bed with adults, while the other had a sofa turned into bed with sheets provided (not a standard sofa bed) so could only accommodate one child.

During our family trip to Jungle Aqua Park, we were thrilled by the idea of staying in a resort that promised fun, relaxation, and plenty of activities with its all-inclusive offerings. Sadly, while there were some bright spots, much of our experience left us feeling frustrated, and at times, even scammed by the way things were structured. The Good - The facilities themselves are well-maintained and visually appealing. The pools and theme park rides, when open, provided excellent entertainment for both adults and kids. - The variety of pools and slides seemed promising on paper, and when operational, they delivered an exciting experience. The Not-So-Good 1. Questionable All-Inclusive Facilities & Timings The biggest disappointment of our stay was the deliberate clash in operating times for different amenities. For instance, dinner ended abruptly at 8:30 PM, but the popcorn, doughnut, and candyfloss stalls at the theme park (especially appealing to kids) shut down only half an hour later at 9 PM. This left us scrambling to enjoy everything in the tiny time-slots available and made it nearly impossible to take full advantage of what's included. Even more frustratingly, theme park rides for adults were bizarrely restricted, with only one ride open per night as a rule. This limited options and left us wondering why the resort would restrict its own attractions. 2. Artificially Prolonged Queues Breakfast became a daily test of patience. The focus on one egg station for omelets—not even offering options like scrambled or fried eggs—created unnecessarily long lines. It often felt like the resort intentionally used these extended wait times to waste your morning, essentially cutting into the time you could use for exploring the resort’s facilities. Not ideal when you're already struggling to balance overlapping schedules! 3. Staff Attitude & Service Another major letdown was the attitude of many staff members. We found them to be unfriendly, unhelpful, and sometimes even outright rude. When raising questions or trying to understand how things worked, we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. Customer service is key in any resort, and unfortunately, Jungle Aqua Park missed the mark on this front. - Better alignment of operating times across the resort to allow guests to enjoy all-inclusive perks without a rushed experience. - More consistent opening of adult rides so guests can maximize their enjoyment of the waterpark. - Breakfast options should be expanded beyond omelets to reduce queue times and provide more variety. - Training the staff to prioritize customer service and handle guest inquiries more politely would greatly enhance the guest experience. While Jungle Aqua Park showed flashes of potential in terms of its facilities, the inefficiencies and poor management of schedules made it difficult to fully enjoy what was offered. What should have been a stress-free, family-friendly vacation often turned into a logistical challenge, filled with avoidable friction and unnecessary waiting. With improvements in scheduling, staff attitude, and a more guest-centered approach, this resort could truly shine. However, as it stands now, I would hesitate to recommend it, especially for families looking for a relaxing time.

GGuest UserThe room is spacious and bright, with relatively complete facilities. It is close to the beach and has a nice view. However, our quilt cover was dark and pilling, but the service staff changed it immediately. We made an appointment for the Chinese restaurant, but what was served was a mixture of Egyptian and Western food, not Chinese food at all. We spent $50 on food for two people and I don't know what we ate.

XxuecqThe hotel environment is very good, with several swimming pools. The food is also very good, with sufficient supply and timely replenishment. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a family room with 2 bedrooms. However, the air conditioning system in this room was a bit faulty, so we asked the front desk to find someone to fix it, which was what they should have done. After the repair, we didn't give a tip. On the second night, there was a power outage in our room. We contacted Ctrip's customer service to coordinate, and finally gave a tip to get the power back on.

GGuest UserThis restaurant is very suitable for lying down with friends. There are several waiters in the restaurant who are very enthusiastic and recommend suitable drinks every day. It is all-inclusive and basically you don’t have to worry about a lot. You can live a regular life of eating and sunbathing after a short period of time, and then eating and sleeping after sunbathing.

GGuest UserQuite good all inclusive - plan, nice assortment of coctails and food. Only the ala cartes could be better. They serve same food than the buffet but you just get is served to the table. More variance. Also the reservation for the ala cartes is difficult and they are always fullybooked so we couldt even try them all. Waiters seems to serve more the house personnel who weirdly eat with the customers at same restaurant. It didnt feel nice when the cook sit whith his kitchen clothes next to us or the officers with theis suits when you are yourself at holiday mood and dressed accordingly. Usually there is own cantines for workers. Not the best beach, there isnt anything to see compared to some resorts with reefs with lot of fishes but they do have a free golc course (Par3) so it compensates, you cant have it all, can you. Big pool was freezing, even the sea is warmer so if you rely on that one and dont like to sea then you will be dissapointed. We liked the beac more as the pool gives the swimming hall wibes with the dreary tiles. I wish they would make pools more exitng and this is not for Steigenberger but generally. Nice touch that they filled the minibar daily with coke, beer and juices and it was included. They had some kind of evening program but unfortunately it was always in the front of buffet restaurant so you would need to dine there to enjoy it. Why there isnt anything at the beach? Beach parties, disco, dance shows etc. It would be nice!

SShifentiaoMost of them are European and American families. If you are traveling with children, I recommend staying here. You must order three meals a day to ensure satisfaction. Children can have fun. There are also children's programs in the evening. If you are not on a long vacation, there is no need to stay in this type of hotel just to visit the Red Sea water project. Facilities: The hotel has many restaurants, buffet restaurants and reservation restaurants. Some people say that they cannot make a reservation for the seafood restaurant, which is possible. Other restaurants are also good. Environment: I am very satisfied with the environment and supporting facilities. Although I don’t like to go to the swimming pool in the afternoon sun, I like to get up early for sunrise and the beach after sunset. Service: The habit of tipping is what Egyptian waiters expect now. My suggestion is that if you are satisfied with their service, about one dollar is fine. They will be very happy and positive. You will also get more positive and friendly service.

__tuncii_Great hotel, staff is very kind and helpful. Various buffet food for breakfast lunch and dinner but also have other A La Carte restaurants on site. Clean, great sized room with balcony. Water slides are great, and pools are heated except one of them. Simce we had colder weather then expected, it was great to use the heated pools. The only negative I would mention is our room on the top floor was next to the elevator and it was quite loud. We only stayed 3 nights and didnt spend lots of time in the room, so it was okay but if you are coming for longer be sure to request a room away from the lifts. Also after we checked out we had ordered a taxi for us (not with the hotel) and he was waiting outside by the front gate. I have provided the car registration on reception so they can let the driver in, but they didnt. They said they cant let anyone in who is not with the hotel but will provide us a car with driver to the fromt gate. (Which is quite far with all your luggages) but we waited 10 minutes and nobody came, but I have told reception the driver is already waiting for us but they didnt seem to care. Seemed like once you checked out and filled the review for them on reception, you dont matter anymore. We had to walk out with all our stuff to the front gates. Up until then our stay was amazing, but this last 15 minutes left a bad taste in our mouth.
