The breakfast here was excellent with a wide variety of selections of decent quality and a fresh juice station. The butlers were nice and friendly. Plenty of amenities were available.
However even at what appears to be half occupancy rate at the property, there were noisy and littering guests around the relatively small property. The breakfast restaurant also got quite busy at 9am.
The villas themselves are relatively well maintained, but there were rusty vent covers in the restrooms. The rooms were spacious but they offered no view. Bedrooms either had no windows or they faced walls about 6 feet away.
Dinner service was slightly intrusive as we were asked 3 separate times how our dinner went. Our dishes were hastily collected and were asked to help pass finished dishes even though we've already asked for the check.
The staff were nice and the breakfast was good but overall we didn't think the stay matched their ask and the experience they intended to provide.
There are other luxury properties in the area provide oceanview villas and better services for the same or less. The management needs to charge less, or get rid of the glaring shortcomings.
The hotel was quite crowded during the holidays, so it didn’t feel like a relaxing getaway. There was a queue for breakfast, long waits for elevator, and the swimming pool felt overcrowded.
The room wasn’t properly cleaned — the mop smelled musty while the hotel kept the air con on all the time, which made the room stuffy and poorly ventilated.
However, kids enjoyed water park and kids’ club very much.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wyndham resort, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The resort offers a spacious and well-maintained environment, providing a relaxing atmosphere for guests.
One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent food and beverage offerings. The breakfast selection was diverse and satisfying, while the restaurant served delicious meals with great attention to quality and presentation. The F&B service was exceptional, with attentive and professional staff ensuring a seamless dining experience.
The resort’s facilities further enhanced the stay, including a well-maintained swimming pool and a spa that provided excellent services, perfect for relaxation. Additionally, the availability of bicycles added a nice touch, allowing guests to explore the surroundings conveniently.
While my overall experience was positive, I believe there is still some room for improvement in the front desk service. As someone working in the same industry, I noticed that a more polished and efficient approach from the reception team could further enhance the guest experience.
Nonetheless, Wyndham Resort delivers a high standard of hospitality, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We have stayed there for 3 nights and everything was perfect. You can easily reach everywhere by Tuk Tuk which was fun.
The food there were also good quality and delicious!
We would definitely come back again.

I had an amazing stay at The Standard Hua Hin! The architecture is stunning, blending modern design with a relaxing tropical vibe. Service was top-notch—friendly, attentive staff made every moment enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, from the beautiful pool to the well-equipped gym and beachfront access. A truly impressive hotel—I’ll definitely be back!
The resort has a good atmosphere, right next to the sea, travel from the city about 3-5 km, with a private swimming pool.
The room is very spacious, there is a bathtub, but the water flows very slowly when the water is turned on to the tub. Not sure if it is only at night or not. The morning flows stronger than at night.
breakfast is very good
Beautiful hotel, located right on the beach. Plenty of activities for families and couple to do. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Highly recommend staying here.
Disappointing Experience – outdated Information & Poor Maintenance
I had an unhappy experience at this resort and frustrated by the beachside pool is already removed.
1. About Beachside Pool & Shuttle Service
One of the main reasons I booked this resort was the beachside pool and restaurant, with a shuttle service to access them. It is published by many influencer and most of the video at YouTube. However, when the day we want to visit the beachside pool, hotel still arranged a shuttle to the beach, but upon arrival, we realized there was no pool. This caused a major inconvenience because without the pool, we had nowhere to stay comfortably, and calling a shuttle back was extremely difficult. We were stranded at the beach and had to rely on a nearby café to help us contact the hotel for pickup. This was a frustrating and stressful experience. And during standing at the beachside and shocked that there are no pool, we call back to the hotel by the help of cafe staff. We were told that the pool had been removed last year! There was absolutely no notice about this on the booking site or even on the hotel’s official website.
2. Severe Ant Infestation in the Room
The room had a serious ant problem, with ants crawling on the walls. I reported this in the afternoon, and housekeeping came to clean, but by night, the ants came back. I requested a room change, but since my parents were in the neighboring room, they could only offer a room in a different building, which was inconvenient. As a result, I had to endure the issue for another night before changing rooms the next day.
3. I change to a new room facing the Main Street in the last day due to ant. However, another issue happened since that room is closest to the event hall. And during the Friday night I Stay, Dole is having an annual dinner here. My room can hear clearly the base from the speaker. It end about 2300 and finally my kid can fall to sleep.
Overall, this was a disappointing stay. Their should be notice and announcement about the poolside bar had been removed. I trust this is one of the main attraction for many from watching Facebook or blogger. For the poor room maintenance made (ant issue) the experience is frustrating. It seems only happened on the several room (or only the room I stay?). There are numerous of ant climbing across the wall, the pic attached is not showing the actual disaster and i had taken video for record.
However, the service and professional level of all the front desk staff is excellent. They try the best to help and solve my issue, with patient and kindness. Big thanks to them.

Our arrival was greeted with friendly staff from front desk to executive lounge who check in for us. Pool side staff and security are nice. The rooms are clean with good amenities.

Very Good
KKerry Sid’sWhen booking the Anantara we were expecting something a little more luxurious. A few things just stopped it from being that.
The grounds are lovely, well kept and the staff were pleasant. Food in the restaurants was good. Breakfast had a nice, big selection but was so busy after 8:30am. It was also quite cramped and unorganized if it rained.
We found it very odd that we had to pay for drinks/food each time, rather than just paying a bill at the end. We walked out of the bar one night after signing the bill and giving our room number, only to be called up and then chased by a waitress to have us pay. Apparently we didn’t have ‘credit’ on our room. Never had to do that before.
The room was nice and spacious but was quite damp. It smelt a bit off when we first walked in.
The beach area wasn’t really a beach, which was a shame. You can’t walk along it. There’s just a small raised area with some Sun loungers beside the sea. The pool area was lovely!
Location wise it’s a bit out of town so you’d need to hire a motorcycle or get taxi’s to go to the main beach, or markets.
I had high hopes, but it just didn’t live up to expectations. For what we paid, and what we got, I think it’s quite expensive.

GgodskitchenThe pictures posted be others didn't do this villa any justice, this place looks and feels much better than that. I was sceptical at first, but decided to go ahead with the booking. Was very surprised by the place.
First of all, the villa is totally cool. Reception is very welcoming. Welcome drinks and friendly smiles makes your long hours drive so worth it. Parking is available with about 20 lots. Security will guide you to your lot, not many llts utilised but stayers.
The walk to the villa is just a short throw, 1 minute. Each and every villa has almost totally privacy. 2 main types ground level or upper level. Ground level has private pool, view from upper level is blocked from view via an aluminum awning louvres. The pool is also blocked from view from outsiders via bamboo structures.
The ground level with private pool is all yours, not share with next door. There is a jacuzzi in the bath area. Huge one in a huge bath area. 2 separate wash basins with separate standing shower and toilet, all sheltered by glass panels. Make up area is big too. Big side bed by the ultra huge bed. Putting 2 king beds describes the size, can sleep 4 adults side by side.
The beach is just a few villas roons distance away depending on which villa is yours.
Photos attached to justify the better than expected uploaded pictures.
There's are also non villa rooms, but didn't explore them.
Breakfast is imho about jist above average, sufficient on international and local delights. But don't buy my words, i travelled far and wide and had high expectations on food. Eggs station, wide selection of drinks and around 10 hot dishes, cold dishes about there too. Restaurant is by the beach. Sunrise view but hot is you sit by the individual shelters, else the main restaurant good.
Overall impressed with the service, from security, to porter, to the reception.
Rooms are clean as it can get, pool with some particles by acceptable, jacuzzi is as good as new. Wooden structures dish as doors and bridges by the pool and wooden decks looks a little wormed out, but some has been repaired, never impacting stay.
Location is far from the night market but if you are after peace and quiet, this is the one. Near takiap. 6min drive to hua hin beach, else 30min walk along the coast.
One of the best villas at its price range. Reviewed based on july 2024.
GGechangdexiaoyuerA very distinctive hotel. It's not big, but the design is very good, and it's great for taking photos. The infinity pool faces the beach, and the scenery is endless. The room is big enough, with an open-air shower, a jacuzzi, and dim warm yellow lights that create a great atmosphere. The hotel prepares bathrobes for guests to wear, which is very suitable for taking photos. I experienced the Turkish bath, which was a good experience. I ate at the hotel in the evening, and it was surprisingly good. I recommend the chicken leg dish. Overall, it was very pleasant, but the water in the swimming pool was not clean enough, which is not right for a hotel of this price! I hope it will be improved in the future! Overall, it was very pleasant~~

LLW.CWe recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sherton Pranburi Resort, and we must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The resort's remote location is one of its greatest charms, as it offers a peaceful and private retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic buffet breakfast. The spread was impressive, and we particularly enjoyed the addition of fresh coconuts, which added a refreshing and tropical touch to the meal.
The full board option at the resort was satisfactory. However, it's worth noting that drinks were not included, and the variety of choices for meals was somewhat limited. Nevertheless, we found the overall quality of the food to be good.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a lot of food stalls just outside the hotel. This gave us the opportunity to explore and sample local cuisine, adding a bit of variety to our dining experience.
Additionally, the resort's proximity to the seaside was a definite plus. We enjoyed spending time by the water, taking in the beautiful views and relaxing in the serene atmosphere.
