I had an amazing stay at Edition Old City Hotel in Istanbul! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hotel itself has a great ambiance, blending modern comfort with the charm of the old city. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic—so many delicious options to choose from, both local and international. It was the perfect way to start each day. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service. The reception staff all spoke English, making communication effortless. A special thanks to Sinan, who generously upgraded us to a balcony-view room facing the city—completely on the house! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our experience even more memorable. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay. The combination of excellent service, great atmosphere, and delicious food makes this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting Istanbul. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at this apartment. It was well-equipped with everything I needed, from kitchen essentials to comfortable furniture. The spacious room provided plenty of space to relax, and the price was very reasonable for the quality offered. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful at night, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Plus, there were plenty of food options nearby, making it easy to grab a meal. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and value.

I was very excited for our stay here hwiwber we had a disappointing experience with poor communication and no accountability I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but our experience really fell short of expectations and needs to be shared. We arrived at the hotel late at night after a long journey, only to be told there was no booking under our name. This was despite having a confirmed reservation through Trip.com with updated arrival dates. I showed the staff member multiple confirmation emails, and I even translated one into Turkish to help, but we were repeatedly told there was no booking, with no real attempt to help or investigate further. There was a clear language barrier, but the issue wasn’t just communication. It was the lack of care or basic hospitality. We were eventually given a room that wasn’t what we booked, with a vague promise to fix it the next day. There was no apology or acknowledgement of the stress this caused. The following day, we were moved again, but the new room still lacked a key feature that I made sure it had, and we specifically needed (a microwave). I asked for some form of compensation or goodwill gesture via trip.com for the inconvenience, but the hotel has refused. To be fair, the same staff member helped us carry our luggage to the taxi on our final day, which we appreciated. But that small act doesn’t undo the initial treatment. Even a simple apology would have gone a long way. Trip.com were brilliant, and they did their best to advocate on our behalf. Unfortunately, the hotel took no responsibility and showed no interest in making things right. Mistakes happen, and we understand that. But how you treat your guests in difficult moments speaks volumes. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Very small hotel . Breakfast very simple . Not much variety . Location is very good. Walking distance to most places. Beware of the front day duty desk person who tried to scam us to take the hotel airport transport at 60 euros v Yellow taxi only cost 450 Turkish lires ( fixed price ) The hotel guy tried to give us the impression not safe to take yellow taxi to airport.

Homelike Hotel – A Cozy Gem in Istanbul I had a great stay at Homelike Hotel in Istanbul. The location was perfect—just a 5-minute walk to metro and bus stops, and only 20 minutes on foot from Taksim Square. The area is full of cozy Turkish cafés, giving it a lovely local vibe. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and modern. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. While there were a few minor issues at first, everything was quickly sorted out thanks to their excellent service. A special thanks to Adam, who kindly helped me print some important travel documents. Breakfast was decent, with some variation each day to keep things interesting. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended if you're looking for a cozy, budget-friendly stay with great access to the city. A truly nice hotel that gives you great value for money. You truly get the bang for your buck!

Travelled with two teenagers children. And it was not the best I have stayed. On arrival the room floor had balls of dust and fluff. Not good first impression. My daughter asked for sawing kit, they said would bring to the room- never turned up. We had family room. Big for 2 beds, not for 3. No wardrobe so no where to hung clothes, no where even to shelf clothes! No where to dry clothes if you need to freshen it up . One needs a shower 3-4 times a day in the middle of July! Do count your clothes accordingly! Breakfast was 3 out of 5. Nothing special very scares choice. Very basic. No fruits even in the middle of summer. Positive- lots of free water. Room cleaner every day including changing towels. And location is top notch! The view from the terrace is worth every little moment of above described inconveniences.

I am from South Korea. This trip is my 5 times visit to Istanbul .Whenever I stay ,I prefer changing to staying in one hotel.That's because I wanna experience different hotel mood. While in Zagreb hotel , I just feel like my home . Especially Gazi was such a professional ! I could feel his sincere service mind ,which made me feel so comfortable .And thank you for all other hotel staffs ,too. Facilites are good including nice swimming pool.In swimming pool Sinan did his best all the time . I was so impressed .Thank you ,Sinan :) Next time ,definitely I will stay in Zagreb hotel to meet Gazi n Sinan .I had a good memory thanks to all hotel staffs .

very nice place, nice views, you will need a car, its not near water. restaurants down stairs is good. other than that its a 5-8 minute walk

Excellent Hotel in Excellent location with Excellent staff. Spacious rooms, very clean, and very modern. Good breakfast which changes daily. Overall very good hotel. Noise levels around the street is a bit loud even though we were on the top floor but otherwise everything was excellent.
