The room was very comfortable, and the bedding was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. When we checked out, Sinnie and Eva were so sweet and had lovely smiles – it was truly wonderful. Hotel near Yu Garden Area,Shanghai
A Marriott Luxury & Lifestyle hotel.Located downtown near the famous Yu Garden and Shanghai's Old Town, the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel (Shanghai Yuyuan Wanli Jiudian) is just minutes away from the Bund, Xintiandi and other Shanghai landmarks. Next to the hotel is Yu Garden subway station on Metro Line 10, which runs through the heart of Shanghai. The top-notch facilities at this five-star Shanghai hotel include a business center, four event rooms and banquet halls, as well as a club lounge on the 17th floor with expansive views of the city skyline. Guests can exercise in the hotel fitness center or take a swim in the indoor pool and relax at the spa or sauna.

"Facilities: The hotel is located right next to the City God Temple, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city. From the room, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Bund's S-curve and the iconic three skyscrapers. Service: During our stay for Chinese New Year, we received a lovely welcome gift of butterfly pastries, which delighted my elderly parents! We truly felt the warmth of Shanghai's hospitality. The front desk promptly contacted us after our room was cleaned, making it convenient for my parents to take their afternoon nap. They were very proactive and enthusiastic. Breakfast: The dining area isn't large, but the variety is exquisite, showcasing the essence of Shanghainese culture. Ambiance: The lobby is stunning and perfect for photos! We had a wonderful stay over the holiday! The only minor inconvenience in this 'inch of land, inch of gold' city of Shanghai was when we were dropping off and picking up my parents during check-in and check-out. Even a short stop at the entrance incurred a parking fee, and the staff's attitude was firm (even after we explained we were just checking out). This was a bit off-putting during a holiday period. Otherwise, everything was great."

"My recent stay at the Hilton Hongqiao Airport significantly exceeded my initial expectations, and the pleasant surprises unfolded gradually throughout the check-in process, rather than all at once. Upon arrival, my room was still being prepared. Daniel at the front desk handled my check-in. His communication was clear and measured; he first explained the situation thoroughly, then helped me arrange my subsequent plans in sync with my itinerary, instead of simply telling me to 'wait.' Thanks to Daniel's coordination, I was directed to the Executive Lounge to relax, and the entire transition was seamless, with no awkward waiting or uncertainty. Once settled in the Executive Lounge, the environment remained consistently quiet, perfect for slowing down mid-journey. There, I met Nina, the Executive Lounge Manager. She proactively checked on my check-in status and anticipated my upcoming schedule. Her communication style was very natural, eliminating the need to repeatedly explain my needs – a detail frequently traveling guests can easily appreciate. I had mentally prepared for a longer wait, but soon after, I received a call from the front desk. It was Daniel, informing me that my room was ready for occupancy. The efficiency was much higher than expected, and it kept the entire check-in process comfortably paced. The real sense of delight emerged once I entered the room. I was assigned a Deluxe Aviation View Suite, nearly 100 square meters in size. The space and layout significantly surpassed typical airport hotel expectations. The room had a clear flow, making it very intuitive to use. Outside, there was an unobstructed aviation view, yet the soundproofing with the windows closed was excellent, maintaining a quiet interior – a difficult feat for an airport hotel. Inside the room, there was a welcome fruit platter and a small cake. These details, while not extravagant on their own, appeared at just the right time, clearly conveying that this was a stay that had been thoughtfully prepared. The overall finish and condition of the room made me want to linger a bit longer. Throughout my stay, Nina continuously monitored the overall pace, including coordinating subsequent time arrangements, all handled impeccably. This made the entire trip feel relaxed and organized, without me needing to constantly reconfirm details. Her service style wasn't overtly demonstrative, but she was always present at key moments, greatly contributing to the completeness of the overall experience. Looking at the overall experience, what impressed me most about this stay wasn't just the room type itself, but the seamless flow of information between the front desk and the lounge. From Daniel's judgment and handling in the lobby to Nina's meticulous follow-up and coordination in the lounge, the entire process was interconnected, with no service gaps or need to repeatedly explain my background. For guests who frequently transfer, depart, or arrive at Hongqiao, this hotel's mature service level, beyond its hardware facilities, is a significant bonus. After this stay, it will become one of my top choices in this area."

"Came here with friends to visit Disney and stumbled upon this Mars-themed guesthouse. Stepping inside felt like entering a fairy tale! There's a super realistic and adorable pineapple house, just like SpongeBob's, a swimming pool, and a 'sky ladder' (where you can even catch the Disney fireworks!). So many photogenic spots for amazing pictures. The rooms were all very comfortable, with rich Mars-themed decor. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, even providing pick-up and drop-off services to Disney, which was super convenient. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends! ✌🏿"

"As a couple who has lived in Shanghai together for almost 10 years, with one of us also Shanghainese, we have been to a lot of the best places in Shanghai, and some of the more recommended places in about 20 cities in the broader nearby area. Nothing in the city or within several hours of high-speed rail compares to a stay at Ritz-Carlton Pudong. In Asia and indeed the planet, this impeccable hotel experience stands as an iconic example of old-world elegance and service. In addition, it also offers a unique view of both some of the most modern and tallest buildings and the city’s famed Bund riverside, home to a variety of art deco architectural masterpieces. We had the incredible good fortune to start our honeymoon at the Ritz in Pudong, and this last stay was our last honeymoon treat. As always, it was a spectacular experience that we cannot recommend enough. The most extraordinary part of the stay really is the staff, they are all world class people who go above and beyond to make the Ritz-Carlton Pudong such an exceptional institution in one of the world’s leading cities. Sincere thanks to the whole team for making this happen, including Cherryl, who made reservation delightfully effortless, Chris who helped us to our room, and Joey and Ruby who helped in the evening. Special and heartfelt thanks to the whole team who make the Club Lounge experience world beating: Eddie and Junita, who both lead by example, have a deep passion for the details that create excellence, as well as being just the nicest people. They are both incredibly inspiring leaders and professionals. Claire is generally excellent there but also was phenomenally helpful to get a bag back when it was left behind, we really apricated that. Jeramy and Vivian also are amazing, as are Club Lounge’s chef’s Joe and Austin. Sherry is a real star, attentive, sharp and so helpful. Last but not least, Helen, who was the first person to greet us after we got married, and fittingly the last person to help us create personalised room key cards with our wedding photo on it, and most recently a special photo of family from our honeymoon. Those keycards are really cool keepsakes, but making them is not as simple as you might think: the image is etched into the key, not printed, so the original photo needs to be translated by AI into an image that the etching system is capable of delivering, which is really impressive. When I showed my mom who lives very far away, even she was impressed with Helen’s work. Ordinarily we prioritise new experiences over more of the same, regardless of how comfortable and nice it is. But regardless of how hard we try, we have not been able to figure out a better way to celebrate our biggest moments than a stay at the Ritz in Pudong."

"Pros: Both beds are 1.8m, which is quite practical. Cons: 1. The hotel seems to be located in a plot of land carved out of a village, with several hotels inside, including Holiday Inn. Licheng Hotel is one of them. 2. The room has several unprofessional design flaws: a. To get to the shower room, you first have to pass through the toilet room. There's only a sliding door between the toilet and the shower. b. The shower room window has frosted glass but no curtain. In the morning, light streams into the room through the shower window. (See attached picture) c. There are motion-sensor lights around the bed that cannot be turned off. If you get up at night, the lights turn on and disturb others sleeping in the room. 3. The hotel's elevator signage looks cheap, and the simple 'Happy New Year' stickers by the elevator also look tacky. 4. The room furniture feels low quality, and there are obvious, unremovable stains on the tabletop. 5. Each room has its own set-top box for Wi-Fi. After discovering I couldn't get online and contacting the hotel, they told me the set-top box was behind the TV and asked if I could restart it myself. While I could, the hotel should really ensure the internet is working before guests check in. 6. The hotel's cleaning staff don't greet guests. While not a major issue, it makes the hotel seem unprofessional."

Hotel near Lujiazui Area,Shanghai
Spanning the 79th through 93rd floors of the Shanghai World Financial Centre (SWFC), Park Hyatt Shanghai has been established itself as the city’s leading ultra-luxury hotel and the first to bring true sophistication to Shanghai. The interior of Park Hyatt Shanghai has been created by the award-wining New York-based designer Tony Chi of tony chi and associates, with respect to traditional Chinese geometry and architecture, while providing all the comforts of a stately modern home. To preserve the quality of the product and the level of service and attention to detail, the number of guestrooms has been limited to 173. The standard rooms, measuring 55 to 60 square meters (592 to 646 square feet), coupled with the generous 3.1-metre ceiling height.Unique, memorable dining and wining experiences are offered at the choice of restaurants featuring Western and Chinese cuisines, or guests can just take in the view above the clouds while sipping a signature cocktail in the highest bar in Shanghai. The hotel is also home to the renowned Water’s Edge spa, a relaxation zone for guests to restore harmonious balance to body and mind.

"I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt in the World Financial Tower in Shanghai for one night, from May 3rd to May 4th. I booked a Bund View room, and while the view was spectacular, the overall experience left something to be desired. The room was spacious but sparsely decorated, with a small TV and a somewhat awkward bathroom layout. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows went flat quickly. Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly, though my request for a higher floor wasn’t accommodated. The check-out process was smooth. However, I was disappointed by the need to pay a deposit despite being a platinum member, and by the lack of complimentary minibar items, which I’ve come to expect in similar hotels. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked nice with a great view. Unfortunately, the hotel’s dress code policy meant I couldn’t dine at their restaurants since I wore shorts on a hot day, which felt inconvenient. This led me to dine at the Jin Mao Tower next door, which offered a lovely buffet. Overall, while the view was stunning and the bed comfortable, the room felt overpriced for what it offered. I’d recommend considering the neighboring Jin Mao Tower for a better value and experience."

"The room environment is very good. The bed is very clean. There is no hair. Secondly, the linen is new. There is no ball. The proprietress has made a Christmas tree. The pool is also very clean. Although it is cold, the cleaning aunt is still brushing the pool every day. The grandfather who drives is also very good. Disney The key to the shuttle is free. The boss is also amiable. The breakfast is also rich. It is richer than the nearby homestay. All in all, the experience is very good. This price is really hanging at the same price. The hotel has to live in the hotel. "”Thank you for a wonderful stay. Overall, our experience was excellent—the hotel is clean, comfortable, and your staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic day at Disneyland. For future guests during the holiday season, a small suggestion: the nightly fireworks in December are at 9:15 PM. The 8:00 PM shuttle pickup time meant we had to leave before the show. If it's ever possible to offer a later return option during peak fireworks seasons, it would be the perfect end to a perfect day. Thank you again for your hospitality!”"
