The room was very comfortable, and the bedding was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. When we checked out, Sinnie and Eva were so sweet and had lovely smiles – it was truly wonderful. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Shanghai."

"Taking advantage of the holiday, I brought my child to Lujiazui to see the 'three-piece set' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers). The front desk kindly upgraded our room, so we could see two of them from our window at night. We were also able to use Pudong consumption vouchers, which was a bonus. The location is absolutely fantastic, making it convenient to go anywhere. Although the hotel facilities are quite old, they met all our basic needs, offering incredible value for money. The foundation of this old five-star hotel is solid! They were very quick to respond to requests for extra blankets, towels, and even an engineering check. Downstairs is Chunwei Banyu Mansion, which serves delicious food. Next door are Nine-Six Plaza and Century Link, and a short walk away is Yaohan Department Store. To get to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, you can catch a bus right downstairs, and the metro station is just a few more steps. It's truly the top choice for families traveling with children! The 'Hi-Play Zone' in the lobby is absolutely brilliant, with a pool table and various games. My child could easily spend a whole afternoon there and not get bored."

"This is an excellent choice for a Disney trip! It's close to the park, clean, and the service is great. But the best part is definitely the large bathtub! After a long day of standing in lines, with your legs feeling completely dead, it's like finding an oasis in the desert – I'm not exaggerating! Imagine coming back to the hotel after watching the fireworks and enduring the cold night air in winter, dragging your tired and slightly chilly body into a big, hot bath. How incredibly comfortable! Plus, there's a shuttle bus to take you back to the hotel at night, which is super convenient! Many locals also come here specifically for the baths. After soaking, you can relax and play games in the common areas, making it very suitable for families with kids."

"The stay was excellent. Although there aren’t any shops or eateries within close walking distance, the experience more than made up for it thanks to the amazing staff. They were warm, genuinely friendly, and went out of their way to help with anything we needed. Their attentiveness made our trip feel effortless and truly enjoyable. I’d gladly come back again. "Excellent reception desk assistants, translating through phone app. English / Chinese Coffee /tea even massage chairs in reception. Room: Fantastic Beds were huge & comfortable - we had an upgrade to a larger room. The shower and shower toiletries were so refreshing. Towels were lovely soft & clean. Breakfast was the best I have had for a long time. Lived the rice, fried eggs, noodles , fruit vegetables. Even clams one morning. Great variety of drinks. The chief and staff were very happy & helpful. Extremely clean. I used the laundry room which also had a tumble dryer. This was useful due to travelling on to Beijing afterwards. The other family rooms have slides and are duplex. Sue the swimming pool is great in the summer. Excellent price , excellent choice for Families going to Disneyland and other local trips. Loved being able to go along the local street to see Shanghai local food, shops and life. Seems to be a family run business which is lovely to support. Location is great for the local shops , food, 7/11 supermarket for snacks & drinks Restaurants and food for locals which was delicious and a great price. Shuttle bus excellent. Taxi ( Didi) was £3 back from Disneyland . £11 to Shanghai Greenhouse Gardens ( evening ticket £5.40) this is an amazing trip not to be missed."

The room was clean and tidy, equipped with modern and smart facilities, and the bed provided an exceptionally comfortable sleep. "This hotel catches you a little off guard. When the car pulled up I thought I was in the wrong place. It gives very strong Air bnb/bed and breakfast vibes because that’s what it is. The ppl that run the place are very kind. The owner I assume, was very kind and very friendly. He went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Even gave me cold medicine as I was struggling adjusting to Chinese fall weather and had a bad cold. The young man that worked evenings helped me order food and was a life saver because I had no way else to eat. The breakfast was minimal but tasty. Dumplings, boiled eggs and I think congee. I don’t like congee so I didn’t eat any. And I was always greeted with a smile from the lady cooking. The coffee isn’t great. Instant packets, very blah and nothing to drink really except water. There isn’t much nearby to do, it’s not walkable and so I would not stay if you’re looking for night life or convenience. But it’s a nice relaxing, quiet place to stay with a very comfy bed, nice tub, close enough to the airport and good shower pressure. I would definitely stay again."

"This is the first time I’ve ever written such a long review, simply because I loved this place so much! Since my trip included a visit to Disneyland, when I saw and booked this guesthouse on Trip.com, I immediately felt confident that I made the right choice. And indeed, the moment I stepped in, I was amazed by its architectural design. The building looks like a cube of cheese, with a pure white exterior that is both unique and beautiful. Although it is a guesthouse, the facilities and services are far beyond many five-star hotels. The swimming pool is great, and sitting by the poolside was so relaxing. The front desk staff helped us check in very quickly and kindly told us that the pastries at the counter and the drinks in the fridge were complimentary. He even helped carry our luggage upstairs, which was very thoughtful. They also once arranged a free private car service for us, which made our travel even more convenient. When we entered the room, it was another pleasant surprise. The design was stylish, and the view from the window was breathtaking blue skies and lush green fields that made us feel completely at ease. If you want to order food delivery but don’t have a local phone number, you can simply ask the housekeeper for assistance. In the evening, they even prepared a lovely goodnight dessert, and the next morning, breakfast was served. Before 7:30, there were milk and sandwiches; after 7:30, a full Chinese breakfast with porridge, buns, shumai, dumplings, and more incredibly generous and delicious. If I ever return to Shanghai, I would definitely come back here again! Many thanks to the front desk staff, the housekeeper, and all the team members for their warmth and thoughtfulness, which truly made us feel at home."

"Great location, very convenient for Disneyland, and they even offer free bus transfers. The owners are super friendly. It's rare to find such a good guesthouse in China; definitely worth more than five stars. Compared to other places nearby, which tend to be older and located on the upper floors of shop-houses, this is a private house. The owners help with luggage up and down the stairs. The place is also very clean and includes breakfast, plus coffee in the afternoon. It's the best option around here."
